We FINALLY have some Esports representation at the Olympics this June, but it’s not as it seems as almost all the games are unheard of, but worst of all, there seems to be pay to win mechanics involved! We also discuss the latest information about Meta’s future VR/AR headseats and Humble Bundle’s Türkiye-Syria earthquake relief fund.
Microsoft surprised everyone with a 10-year deal announcement with both Nvidia and Nintendo, while Sony’s first State of Play of the year leaves everyone in shock when one of the most anticipated games was revealed to not be what it seemed!
We’re back and just in time for our reaction to the announcements from last night’s Nintendo Direct! We didn't get the Metroid Prime that we have been waiting for, but hey, an HD remaster of the first game? Give it to us!
BLAST Premier: WOW!

BLAST Premier: WOW!

Our reaction to the BLAST Premier World Finals which we attended at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Special guest appearance by Kevin Sebastian AKA Noxvoyager.
We are just a few days from the BLAST Premier World Finals which is taking place in Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena and will see the top 8 esports teams battle it out at CS:GO for the $1 million prize pool! Kevin Sebastian is here to tell us more about the event.  Use code Blast50 for 50% off tickets at https://blastpremier.com/world-final
From epic announcements to unsuspecting trolls, the Game Awards 2022 was an amazing show and a great tip of the hat to the gaming industry this year. Here are our thoughts and reactions.
Hear Splinter Cell like you've never heard it before with the new BBC Radio 4 adaptation... Yes, Splinter Cell is coming to radio! But wait, there's also an animated show making its way to Netflix, and we have tiny details on the changes for the upcoming remake of the original game. Meta has shown of it's human-like AI CICERO which not only beat humans in the game Diplomacy, but was favored by some players over actual people. Award season has kicked off with the Golden Joystick Awards! Some winners we expected, others not so much! 00:00:00 - Intro 00:01:01 - Splinter Cell radio adaptation 00:07:32 - Splinter Cell Netflix animated show 00:09:32 - Splinter Cell remake 00:14:19 - Meta's human-like scary AI 00:28:05 - 40th Golden Joystick Awards 00:35:16 - Outro
Mick Gordon, the amazing composer and sound designer behind Doom’s epic soundtrack has finally addressed the claims set against him by id Software Studio Director Marty Stratton who blamed him for underdelivering and the disappointing launch of the Doom Eternal soundtrack. Mick has laid out everything that has happened in the last 3 years and there's quite a lot to go through. It’s never good when we hear about dishonest shenanigans in the gaming industry, but it’s always important to know the facts.
We finally got the price and release date of the PSVR2. however, the price of entry to VR is set at $550! That cost as much as a new PS5.  Has Sony finally gone insane?!
Bayonetta 3 is out and it has gotten some great reviews. Looks like people didn’t listen to Helena Taylor's request to boycott the game, and that’s probably because she outed herself as a liar. Here’s the update on everything that happened between PlatinumGames and Helena Taylor.
Silent Hill is no longer a rumor, it is back and bigger than ever! Not only are we getting a Silent Hill 2 remake, we are also getting two new games, a Silent Hill “experience” and a new movie. Exciting times ahead… What’s not exciting is the Gotham Knights game as It’s technically gimped at 30 FPS and our eyeballs are not happy.
The gaming industry shows its dark side once again as Hellena Taylor, who has masterfully voiced Bayonetta in the first two games, revealed the reason she wasn’t involved in the upcoming game is that PlatinumGames didn’t want to pay her her worth. In other news, I also do a bit of simping in the end.
The mario movie trailer finally dropped and we got some speculation as to what the story might be about. What did you guys think about Mario’s voice? The internet isnt behind Christ Pratt as Mario. The big bad news of the week however, is Overwatch 2. Blizzard still manages to mess things up for their fans. Microsoft, we are all waiting for you to fix this company.
Such an eventful day

Such an eventful day

Google shocked the world (kinda) on Thursday when they announced that they will be shutting down Stadia. Even more shocking is that they’ll refund every hardware or software purchase since launch. Good guy Google, I guess? In more positive news from that same day, PlayStation Stars launched in Asia and finally confirmed that the loyalty program will not only reward you with digital collectibles that are NOT NFTs, but with a point system that you can use to fund your wallet to buy things from the store.
And that’s a wrap on TGS 2022. We just wanted to give our thoughts on a couple of things, first being the wonderful looking Hoyoverse game Zenless Zone Zero (try to say that quickly five times in a row), and second, we got to see people’s hands-on experience with the PS VR2 and sum it up: You need to get one!
TGS 2022 is here, and we are being bombarded with new announcements and games! Where to begin? Well, Microsoft kicks off with a great showcase targeting the Asian audience, and Capcom has outdone themselves with Street Fighter 6. But lastly, there was a surprise announcement that got Fudfood so hyped!
Wait, what? Sony crashed Nintendo’s Direct day and announced an impromptu State of Play? That’s cold, Sony.  In all seriousness though, the State of Play actually had some decent announcements and reveals, including the world premiere of a horror run-based first-person driving survival game, a sci-fi mech shooter that is the embodiment of mech anime, and of course, gameplay footage from God of War Ragnarok.
The day has finally come and we have the name AND release date for the next Legend of Zelda game, which is now called, Tears of the Kingdom and it will be gracing our Switches 12th May, 2023.  That’s perfect because we plan on being sick that day and not go to work, so we should have all the time we need to explore that beautiful world of Hyrule.
Another day, another tiny update on future Assassin’s Creed games, including one that is set in feudal era Japan. That just feels like the right setting choice, right? We also have some more update on what the new 1200 model PS5s bring to the table, and in short, it’s quite good!
Assassins Creed is going back to basics with their next game, Assassins Creed Mirage. Bringing back what made first game good. Microsoft has done bad with Halo fans…again…in their latest roadmap update, saying they are removing split-screen co-op till God knows when. Thankfully there God blessed us with @Zenny_IC, a reverse engineer fan that was able to give everyone what they asked for for years.
