I hope you enjoy it.
As most of the streamers of The Diary Of A Bolga Billionaire Podcast requested I decided to to share my experience of how it’s like to buy a property in Rwanda. In this episode I shared the reasons that made me invest in Rwanda, how I did my research and some of the things to consider when you decide to invest in Rwanda. Everything discussed is my personal opinion and might be helpful to potential investors but do not consider my suggestions finite and financial advice. This is a public episode. Basic Lessons For Life

Basic Lessons For Life

2022-12-3124:02

I shared on the following lessons:A) You can work on both making a living and on a fortune by working part time on your fortune while you’re working full time on your living.B) Your income is directly related to your philosophy, not to the economy.C) Don’t search for the exotic until you’ve discovered and mastered the basicsD) Find out how things work— if you wish to be successful, study success. If you want to be happy, study happiness. If you want to be wealthy, study wealth. Don’t leave it to chance. You may not be able to do all that you find , but you should find out all you can do.* Read—one way to learn is from your own experience. Another way is from people’s experience. One book can change your life. Devote 30 minutes a day to read.* Listen to people around you—successful and poor, the positive and the negative. Find out what poor people do/read and don’t do/read them. Get around rich people and listen. Poor people ought to take rich people out for dinner and listen.* Observe— you can pick a lot of ideas just by watching. Success leaves clues. There are two ways to see— sight, seeing with eyes; insight, seeing with your mind. See with your eyes , you’ll see things. See with your mind, you’ll see answers. Pay attention. Don’t miss anything. Where you’re , be there.E) Go to work —on the things found out. You need a game plan — home game plan, business game plan, social game plan, financial independence game plan. Don’t operate from your mind. Operate on paper. Write your plans down. Formula for success—take heavy action on a good idea.Don’t let your learning lead to knowledge, you’ll become a fool. Let your learning lead to action, you can become wealthy.F) Don’t try to beat the system. Find out how it works best and do it that way. It may take a little longer but keep doing it. Be a quick learner.F) take care of yourself* physical— take care of yourself. Treat yourself as a temple. That’s the only place you’ve got to live in. Study nutrition. Some people don’t do well because they don’t feel well.Things to look at:Appearance: you’ll never have a second chance to make a first impression. GOD looks on the inside, people look on the outside. When people get to know you they’ll judge you more than what they see. But first they’re going to take a look.* Spiritual—Humans are more than just an advanced life form. Or an advanced species of the animal kingdom. My belief is humans are a special creation. If you believe in spirituality in any manner, study it and practice it. Do not neglect your values and virtues.* Mental side— learn, study, grow, change. That’s why schooling is all about. It takes time for development in all aspects. Feed and nourish the mind.If you can’t defend your virtues and values you’ll fall prey to philosophies that are not in your best interest.! This is a public episode. Knowing what no one else knows and being able to do something very few people know how to do is a very important lever that has got people rewarded the most by society in the history of the world. Imagine finding something that society needs and does not yet know how to get it and actually delivering ? Specific knowledge is a very confused topic but if it well understood, sought out, developed and made very good use of together with accountability—which incorporates integrity, credibility, the willingness to fail in public under your own name,…. and leverage which can come in the form of labour, capital or product— one can be able to build a fortune, impact lives and somewhat change the world. Join me as I share with you these very secrets that have changed my own life. This is a public episode. This episode is not about crypto, investing or personal development. Since it is my birth month, I decided to share portions of my autobiography with you. I jumped into the middle—the very stage of my life that made me. I covered my first journey to Accra, becoming a cowboy(a shepherd), my first day at school, struggling in school to jumping the school system. This is the period that gave me the mentality to fight and work hard— traits I learnt from my mom. I hope you get inspired. This is a public episode. Having been in crypto since 2014 & full time since 2018, the best time to actually stay invested & focused in this space is bear markets. As we speak BTC is down over 64% & likely to fall further & many other crypto projects are down over 90%. In as much as some projects won’t recover from this crash, there are many others that’ll grow 10x, 100x and 100x & a lot more of new projects that’ll take over. So the best way to become the next crypto millionaire is to remain in the market & continue learning & investing. I hope you become the next crypto millionaire by 2030. Content creation has gained the world's attention and it is growing rapidly. It has become a big industry, brought forth many talents, changed lives and is gradually revolutionising how we advertise and consume information. Content marketing is an essential part of every organisation's strategy today. It equals business growth. But in as much as it is the order of the day, it does not mean we should leave everything else to become content creators and influencers. It does not mean we should train the young generation and give them the narrative that content creation is the only way. That is deadly narrative that is spreading in Africa; which should not be the case. The bigger picture we should show to young people in Africa is that the world keeps revolving and things won't stay like this forever. We can be content creators today and still go to school, acquire skills and most importantly prepare and position ourselves for any changes that will come in the near future. Web 3.0 is on the horizon and will gradually become the new internet of things. As a blockchain technology pioneer and an early adopter of cryptocurrency , I think we should teach and draw the attention of everyone(including content creators and influencers) to take advantage this revolutionising technology so they can stand the chance of surviving and avoid becoming feudal and old-fashioned This is a public episode. It is risky if not wrong to take investment advice from a random social media post. You wouldn't invest in a restaurant unless you know where it is located, the kind of food they serve, the profit it makes and ultimately who runs it—that should be so with crypto investing too. So while we are still in a bear market and many people are looking to buy their favourite crypto projects at a lower price, how can one dig deep to find good gems worth putting his/her money in? Join me let's dig it out !!!!--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/martins-napoleon/message This is a public episode. Bear markets are usually dangerous and risky times as these are the times people lose a lot of money and turn to quit the market. This is not new though, especially to people who have been in this space for long. But it can however be difficult since not everyone can stand it seeing the value of their money going down and down. So after 8 years in crypto, I guess I've had enough experience and seen many crashes, so I gave a few tips to help cope during times like this and ways to reduce stress. One thing I can assure everyone is that, we would come out of this stronger but only if we survive this while doing the right thing. Stream and share with friends who need to hear this too.--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/martins-napoleon/message This is a public episode. How does one maneuver his/her way through a very busy and chaotic world like ours to stay creative? How can you in a digital world that requires you to be on your phone, reply to an email, scroll through IG or attend to your family and friends's needs and still create time to explore your ideas through visual mapping? Many people don't really think about this because they conclude creativity is reserved for only those into art, music, acting etc,......I do think creativity should be an everyday thing for everyone irrespective of what you do. How do you brainstorm? What habits foster creativity? I've disccused up to 10 ways I come up with creative ideas and some of my most successful business projects in this episode. Let's have fun 😅--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/martins-napoleon/message This is a public episode. A brand is your customer’s overall perception of your business. The ultimate goal in branding is to create a unique image about your business. Branding is the act of creating this perception about your uniqueness in your customers. From having a clear and well defined purpose behind your brand—trying to understand why ? how ? And what ?.The goal is not to do business with everyone but to do business with those who believe what you believe. You’d also need to research about other brands in your industry and find out what they do. To be different from the competition, you’ve to understand what they do and how you can do it differently. Defining your target audience is another important thing in brand building that I discussed in this episode. You need to know who you’re trying to reach and tailor your message towards that. I’ve a lot more to share with you in this episode. Go stream and let’s build great brands. If you are a Crypto OG you probably will be familiar with this phrase "When Lambo? " That was the order of the day when we first went into crypto. Most crypto investors’ dream is to buy Lamborghinis. But we are more often taken aback when we wake up and see our portfolios reduce 50% or even more which is often sponsored by geopolitical factors and other factors beyond our control. What do we do at these moments? How do we handle the losses ? How do we diversify our portfolios and holdings to survive bear markets so we come out either richer or ready to get richer in the next bull run ? Delayed gratification is often what teaches the best of lessons and helps us develop patience. Listen to me as I take you through a few things to do during the bear market to position yourself for a financial turn around in the long run.--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/martins-napoleon/message This is a public episode. I dealth into the general dos and don'ts in Crypto investing, setting an entry and exit strategy, doing your due diligence into projects before investing, spotting scams, how HODL actually requires much patience than you think, and a lot more. You could get rich through crypto investing but you've to treat it as an important aspect of your finances not just a place where you throw in money and expect it to go to the moon the next day. Have fun and let's get rich together. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/martins-napoleon/message This is a public episode. I took my Crypto journey a step further and talked about the ups and downs in the market and how to survive them. I also talked about managing your portfolio through diversification. And more importantly how to avoid cashing out into fiat but instead suggested stacking more bitcoin and ethereum. I concluded by sharing about how we turned $500,000 into $1.87M in six months. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/martins-napoleon/message This is a public episode.
