We are back with another exciting episode of the Batting Practice Podcast and could not be enthused that Opening Day is finally here! Spring is sort of in the air in the Midwest and we cannot wait for the crack of the bat and the smells of the stadium ( hot dog anyone? ).
Here at Batting Practice, we are always trying to elevate our game and provide you relevant content to elevate and improve your Sorare MLB journey. That is why we are dedicating Episode 31 to discussing what players you should target that all cost below 12 diamonds.
We have 3 or more value players at each position as we each made our list independently and shared them to our collective list live on the podcast. Listen in as we defend and explain our picks to give more background on why we like a certain guy. It can be hard to afford those 20 point studs without scraping the bottom of the player pool. We are BACK with another episode of the Batting Practice podcast bringing you the best highlights from around the sporting world and what they mean for your Sorare gallery.
The Los Angeles Lakers have won the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament after they defeated a hungry, cash-strapped Pacers who played like their Christmas Bonus was on the line. For this first tournament it was unknown whether teams would take it seriously but judging by the fact that most playoff favorites won or made it out of their group, yeah the big boys were trying. What implications this has on the NBA Playoffs or eventual Championship run are unknown at this point.
Shohei Ohtani is headed to your Los Angeles Dodgers and yes it is always a good week to be an LA fan. The stars aligned and descended from the hills to welcome MLB's newest superstar who smashed every contract record to record a 700 million contract netting him 2 million every year. Yes I did pass 4th grade math and I double checked my work because that number is absolutely correct. Ohtani has created one of the most team and tax friendly contracts in existence by deferring most of his payout to the end of his contract. What a nice retirement gift to go with his future World Series rings.

Baaaannnggg, we are back with another fantastic episode of the Batting Practice Podcast. We had some huge updates this week within the NBA game and the boys are here to break it all down for you. The NBA In-Season Tournament kicked off last night and will end before our next podcast so let us know on X who you think will win. The Celtics are already out so perhaps more upsets are on the way.
MLB winter meetings are underway this week with the biggest development centered around who Shohei Ohtani is going to sign for. You heard it here first, it will NOT be the Milwaukee Brewers who made a splash of their own this week giving the biggest contract to a player who has never played in the MLB so far.
Finally, we wrap things up with a bit of fun and name the highest paid MLB players.

We are BACK with another episode of the Batting Practice Podcast with our 65th episode EVER. We kick off the episode with a buying bonanza taking advantage of Sorare's first ever Cyber Week deals with 50% off an Auctioned Card (up to $40). Unfortunately, if you are reading this, the deal has expired. Just know if you saw the auction prices for yesterday, no we are not in a bull market, Sorare holiday season has started early.
Sorare makes a lot of changes and it has become nearly impossible to stay in the loop unless one dedicates part of their Sorare hobby to following the game's news. Do not fret as the Sorare team has heard our calls for more information. The team is now sharing a weekly report for both the soccer and basketball games which covers all of the updates for the week. This makes it a lot easier for the average manager to find out all the latest news for the game we all love.
The MLB Offseason is kicking into high gear with free agency. Ohtani is on the market and probably will be signed to his new team by Christmas. Will his new jersey be your stocking stuffer? Jon Morosi, a Sorare Media Legend and MLB Correspondent, has made the bold call that Ohtani is headed to the Atlanta Braves. Dodgers fans, we think you will have the last laugh with the possible dual signings in Ohtani and NPB Star Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
The NBA never fails to keep things interesting with Pop hopping on the mic to yell at Spurs fans to STOP booing Kawhi Leonard. A Lakers fan almost tore his ACL while attempting a half-court shot and unfortunately Dru Smith actually injured himself for the season on Cleveland's uneven court.

Kicking things off we look back on our MLB Season Predictions that we made on March 1st when Spring Training was getting started. Many of the picks went up in smoke but a fair amount actually proved true. Which of the BP Hosts was most correct? Watch and find out. Did your expectations for the MLB Season come true?
Sorare NBA is now hitting its stride so we have expanded our RTG series to NBA. The boys take on the draft and have a great discussion as to which MVP you should take when building out your own team. Let us know what you think of our pick.

We are back with a new structure to our weekly Sorare and all things sports podcast with a blend of news across the sports and sorare multiverses. Do you think there is a world out there where Mbappe plays a Sorare card of mine? Probably not but we can all dream.
All jokes aside, we have noticed that the top podcasts out there have a structure to them and we want to deliver a cultivated experience to each one of our listeners. We are back with another episode of the Batting Practice podcast during the first week of the MLB Playoffs. This is an exciting time to be a sports fan between the coming NBA season, European Soccer madness, and of course the MLB Postseason.
The Wild Card round has just wrapped up after just 2 days after every winning team completing a successful sweep of their opponent. Unfortunately for the Brewers, this means their 92 win season fell short in the first round.
Andrew and Josh had the opportunity to attend the 2nd game and witness their favorite team's defeat in person. RIP to all of the Brewer stacks out there. No matter the outcome, we both had a great time and are thankful to the entire Sorare MLB team for providing a great experience. Bonus, you may see Josh and I featured on some new campaigns they are doing for what Sorare MLB managers can expect from playing the game.
Finally we do a live look at the Championship Chase and will get into it more next week when we break down what it takes to win in the postseason.

Year 2 of the Batting Practice podcast is officially 1 month in and we have nearly reached the best time to be a baseball fan: the postseason. This is the time of year when bad seasons are finally crushed when a team is knocked out of contention. Sorry Mets, Padres. We give you our thoughts on the current postseason picture and look at which teams are doing well of late as the playoffs draw ever near.
I was watching MLB TV today and saw a new Sorare MLB advertisement for the playoffs which the team wants you to get hyped about. We finally give you our long overdue reaction to that announcement and how you can position your gallery heading into the tournament. There are a lot of nuggets buried beneath the text and possibly even a reference to our podcast outro. Yeah we know you listen Jon.

Apologies for the delay but we are back with our 55th episode, or the 3rd of Season 2. Yeah you heard that right, the Hollywood writers and actors may be on strike but we just dropped a second season of our podcast. We take a look at the current wild card standings to see which teams are poised to make a postseason birth and which teams will go up in flames dashing the hopes of their fans. This was recorded Monday so you have the honor of judging our predictions and seeing who is right.
From a Sorare MLB perspective this is very important as managers will need full lineups in each round to compete for the very best playoff-long competition prizes.

Year 2 of the Batting Practice podcast is off to a roaring start as we look towards the MLB Playoffs and look at which players you may want to target if you are building for the postseason or planning to dominate in Sorare MLB next year. This is usually the time of year where we see non playoff players dip in price as their utility ends in a few weeks while playoff guys continue to rise in value as they have extra games and will be important pieces in the playoff long competition.
