I truly can't believe I've sat down in front of a microphone 100 times to record this little podcast of mine! And sure, we've gone through a few names, a few brands and few shifts in what I talk about... but I'm still here! And hopefully, so are you (& thank you!)So today I'm sharing 10 lessons that have taught me the most about building a peaceful, booked up business - the whole reason I am here talking about more peace in business. If you’d like to hear more about the behind the scenes of my business, I’ve recorded a mini private podcast series called Six Months of Peaceful Bookings, where I take you behind the scenes of the period where I booked £60k of projects that filled 6 months of my calendar, in just 6 weeks.✨ You can access it here: http://mentor.gattoweb.com/privatepodcastAnd my group program, Booked Not Busy, where you can get booked up peacefully for 2-3 months using a strategic booking system and confident expert positioning that draw in the dreamiest, calmest projects - is opening soon! If your enquiries feel inconsistent, it’s easy to assume something is wrong. You post consistently, you try to be as visible as possible, you do everything by the book. And yet enquiries come in waves. And the pattern of enquiries leads the pattern of your projects. But inconsistency in demand doesn't have to mean inconsistency in bookings. In this episode I want to share how ups and downs in clients getting in touch is actually completely normal... and how you can make sure that even in the seasons that feel quieter - you can still be booked up.We’re talking about:Why enquiries naturally move in seasonsHow to leverage busier enquiry periods to book upWhy it's so important to understand your ideal clientsWhy peaceful booking systems matter more than constant marketingHow to spread demand across the year instead of scrambling for itIt's not about consistency, it's about demand! And I bet you're closer than you think to get to the steady schedule you're looking for.If you’d like to dive deeper into this, I’ve recorded a mini private podcast series called Six Months of Peaceful Bookings, where I take you behind the scenes of the period where I booked £60k of projects that filled 6 months of my calendar, in just 6 weeks.✨ You can access it here: http://mentor.gattoweb.com/privatepodcastAnd my group program, Booked Not Busy, where you can get booked up peacefully for 2-3 months using a strategic booking system and confident expert positioning that draw in the dreamiest, calmest projects - is opening soon! If your business already works - you’re booked, clients love your work, and money is coming in - but you can't seem to keep your projects on track and feel plagued by project scope, extended timelines and overlapping projects - I'm here for you!“I’ve got all the pieces in place… but projects keep overlapping, timelines stretch, and being booked up feels stressful instead of steady.”In this episode of The Peaceful Creatives Podcast, I’m talking about the systems that actually keep client work contained - so your calendar means something, projects finish when they’re supposed to, and being booked up starts to feel peaceful again. These systems aren't creating rigid steps and formulas - it's creating BTS plans in the business so you can deal with whatever is thrown your way AND stay calm, collected and on track. You can join the waitlist for Booked Not Busy over here: https://www.mentor.gattoweb.com/bnb-waitlist-25Hope you enjoy this one! If you’ve raised your prices, or you’re ready to, but you’re noticing that enquiries are leaning towards your lower packages, it’s very easy to assume something is wrong - the market feels harder, people don’t want to invest or it can even feel like… they don’t want you.But in most cases, that isn’t what’s happening. In this episode of The Peaceful Creatives Podcast, I’m unpacking the real marketing mistakes that stop established creative service providers from booking high-ticket clients - even when their work is strong, their experience is solid, and their business technically “works”.This isn’t about posting more, selling harder, or chasing visibility. It’s about whether the clients who are ready to invest £8k, £10k, £15k can actually see you as the person to get them where they want to go.You can join the waitlist for Booked Not Busy over here: https://www.mentor.gattoweb.com/bnb-waitlist-25Hope you enjoy this one! Big business goals are often positioned as the answer - more money, more momentum, more success. But what happens when your business is technically working… and still feels stressful, loud, or insecure? In this episode of The Peaceful Creatives Podcast, I’m sharing why I stopped chasing big milestones and started prioritising steadiness instead and how that shift completely changed the way my business feels to run. This is a big-picture conversation for established creative service providers who want to feel calmer, more confident, and more in control without losing ambition or success.✨ Inside this episode:Why big goals can quietly create pressure and reactivityHow a business can “work” and still feel exhaustingWhat I actually mean by steadiness (and what it isn’t)The shift from chasing growth to leading with confidenceWhy steadiness creates more sustainable success, not lessThis is a sneak peek of part of the strategy I teach inside Booked Not Busy - helping creative service providers get booked in advance, attract dreamy clients, and build a business that runs peacefully and focuses on steadiness and consistency. You can join the waitlist for Booked Not Busy over here: https://www.mentor.gattoweb.com/bnb-waitlist-25Hope you enjoy this one! If you find yourself stuck in a cycle of booking all of your projects at once, then falling into a quiet period... and then scrambling for more clients - this episode is the exact reframe you need!In this episode, I’m sharing the exact strategy I use to leverage my busiest periods - the seasons when I get the most enquiries - to get fully booked for the next 3–6 months. This is a switch to build sustainability and steadiness, rather than panic booking over and over again. It's a strategy that has kept me fully booked for eight years and finally got me out of feast and famine.✨ Inside this episode:Why busy seasons are your best opportunity for steadiness instead of burnoutHow I leverage busy enquiry periods to book half of the year upThe simple mindset shifts that helped me escape the feast & famine cycleWhat you can start doing right now to plan for future peace (without working more)This is a sneak peek of part of the strategy I teach inside Booked Not Busy - helping creative service providers get booked in advance, attract dreamy clients, and build a business that runs peacefully, even in the busiest seasons. You can join the waitlist for Booked Not Busy over here: https://www.mentor.gattoweb.com/bnb-waitlist-25Hope you enjoy this one! You don’t need to be everywhere, say everything, or do all the things to attract your dream clients! In this episode, I’m talking about why doing more can actually make it harder for the right clients to find and connect with you - and how clarity, intention, and simplicity can completely shift the way you show up and get booked. This is a gentle mindset reframe and a practical reminder: if you’ve been spreading yourself too thin, that might be the reason you’re feeling burnt out and attracting the wrong clients (ones who don’t want to pay your prices, aren’t aligned with your process, or just don’t light you up).Hope you enjoy this one! You don’t have to launch your creative services to be fully booked. In today’s episode, I’m sharing the real reason I don’t launch my design studio services - and what I do instead to keep my calendar consistently booked with dreamy clients (without the panic or pressure).Because while launches can work, they’re not the only way - and they’re definitely not the most peaceful way for everyone. I’ve found a strategy that supports my energy, gives me flexibility, and doesn’t rely on short bursts of visibility or sales. This episode is a gentle reminder that you’re allowed to build your business differently - even if it goes against the usual advice.Hope this one gives you permission to make your business your own 🧡 I’ll be back next week with more!Want to find more? Today I'm sharing something a little different - the replay of my recent panel with fellow creative service providers - The Creatives Who Got Booked Up Peacefully! In this live panel, I sat down with three amazing BNB members to have a real, honest chat about what it actually takes to build a booked-up creative business that feels calm and sustainable. We covered it all - from what their businesses looked like before, to the turning points that helped them move away from burnout and feast & famine cycles, to what life looks like now with more peace and consistency. Here are just some of the things we talked about:The struggles of balancing client work with everything else in businessWhy peace isn’t just “nice to have” but the foundation for growth and consistencyThe rebrands that helped them call in dreamier clients and clearer positioningHow raising prices (and shifting offers) became a natural part of building a more sustainable businessWhat “peaceful” means for each of them - and how different that can look from person to personThis was an open, supportive conversation about the highs and lows of running a creative business and the real shifts that helped these creatives get booked up peacefully.Booked Not Busy is open for early birds this week!
