Conner and Dowell recap the Title Game. The BnB boys also do a terrible job at picking a Way Too Early Top 25, but they think y'all will enjoy the discourse... (finally, no longer super long episode descriptions due to legal reasons)
The fellas recap the National Championship.  The Sak reviews his first legal beer on his B&B debut. Kanye West albums are discussed, pizza is debated. Life is good. Transfer portal and recruiting talk is in here as well!
Dowell and Conner are back at it again recapping the Sweet 16 and Elite 8, and previewing the Final Four and National Championship game. Raging Eagle sounds like street slang for some sort of drug you do on the 4th of July, but it's also a new beer from Yuengling that Conner tries. Check it out and share this episode!
St. Peter's Peacocks will win the National Championship. Dowell and Conner talk about the first and second rounds of the tournament and help each other get over the Kentucky loss. They are fully Texas Tech fans from now until the end of the tournament! They also preview the Sweet 16 and give some predictions. Let us know your thoughts!
Our longest episode yet, but totes worth it! Conner, Dowell, and Matt interview several other college basketball podcasts host and sportswriters to discuss this year's NCAA Men's Basketball March Madness bracket by conferences. Sip on this episode throughout the week before the madness begins on Thursday. It may help you with your bracket!
Conner holds down the fort while Matt is MIA (like always) and Dowell is recreating The Hangover in Vegas. Conner is joined by a frequent guest of B&B, Michael Beard (AllMikedUp_), as well as Jason Carmello of Big Underdog Bracketology (@bigunderdogblog) to discuss their thoughts on what this year's NCAA March Madness bracket will look like. Jason and Michael have a little Bracketology Babble to talk more on the seeding and potential teams to rise and fall. The guys make fun of Duke a little bit for letting UNC spoil the Coach K circus show. Conner tries the brand new Hard Mountain Dew "seltzers" and has a (baja) blast! The guys let you know which conference tournaments start on which days in place of the Throwdown Games segment. They preview some of the upcoming tournaments and give their ones to watch. Someone sponsor us because we hand out free promotions all the time, but seriously, go try the new hard mountain dews...
Conner and Dowell are joined by Andrei Greska of @PaintTouches to talk a week of crazy upsets in the penultimate week in the college basketball regular season. We also dive deep into Andrei’s Marquette fandom, pitch some upsets that are sure* to cash in, and run through all the games you need to know for the final week of the regular season. As always we have some beer recs as well for you to consider as you enjoy the special sport that is college basketball.
Conner and Dowell are joined by Timmy Ice of the Igloo podcast! Timmy covers Big East basketball for both men's and women's. He also is a big Seton Hall fan and alumni. Conner gives a little nautical fact in his beer review.  Dowell is still rightfully upset about the Wake loss to Duke. We are three weeks from Selection Sunday, and AP voters still don't watch college basketball. All is right with the world.
Red Raider Nation, Conner and Dowell back with another Tech-heavy episode, this time with Dylan Smyth of the Tortillas & Takes podcast.  The trio previews this week's slate of games for Texas Tech with a tough home game and even crazier road game. Dylan makes a bold pick on a Kentucky-heavy podcast. Conner does his best Will Levis impression with his beer review. Dowell learns the meaning and origin of "Who Dey?" Bubble watch games are included in the Throwdown Games. Check out the list of games below! Tuesday 2/15 Texas @ Oklahoma Wake Forest @ Duke Villanova @ Providence Kentucky @ Tennessee Wisconsin @ Indiana Wednesday 2/16 Mississippi State @ Alabama Baylor @ Texas Tech Thursday 2/17 UCF @ Houston San Francisco @ Saint Mary’s Oregon @ Arizona State Saturday 2/19 Xaiver @ UConn Texas Tech @ Texas Illinois @ Michigan State Bubble Saturday North Texas @ UAB Notre Dame @ Wake Forest St. Louis @ Davidson BYU @ Saint Mary’s SDSU @ Fresno State
Long episode warning, but worth it... Conner and Dowell interview Josh Barnett, the co-founder of 19nine Vintage Basketball Apparel (https://19nine.com/)  Return of the Matt! Big Blue Breakdown himself graces us with his presence with a gross beer and wildly awesome Shark Tank Upset pick.  Josh shares his picks for some Throwdown Games, followed by some other game picks from Conner, Dowell, and Matt. Somehow the guys bring up the Pam & Tommy show, and the weirdest acting credit ever given to someone on IMDb. No, we can't name the episode that features a prominent brand in college basketball "Jason Mantzoukas - Tommy Lee's pen15" but we can sneak it in there because I don't think anyone reads this summary. *Fart Noise*
Conner and Dowell recap an awesome week in college basketball discussing the SEC/Big 12 challenge, with some discussion about Kentucky following their demoralization of Kansas in Allen Fieldhouse. Dowell does the impossible and pitches the might Danny Manning's of Maryland to upset Tom Izzo's Spartans. Conner sticks with the SEC to see if Texas A&M can walk out of Thompson-Boling Arena with a W. Dowell skips the "Beer" of Beers & Buckets and goes for the Bourbon of Bourbon Basketball Nation with his Forbidden Sour cocktail made with Maker's Mark. Conner attempted to get a beer that he wouldn't like but failed with a delicious Peanut Butter Chocolate Stout from Lost Coast Brewing. A lot of games to preview, but here are the Throwdown Games of the Week the boys give their predictions on: Monday 1/31 Duke @ Notre Dame West Virginia @ Baylor Tuesday 2/1 Creighton @ UConn Kansas @ Iowa State UNC @ Louisville Alabama @ Auburn Texas @ Texas Tech Wednesday 2/2 Notre Dame @ Miami Wisconsin @ Illinois Villanova @ Marquette Thursday 2/3 USF @ UCF Friday 2/4 St. Bonaventure @ Richmond Creighton @ Seton Hall Saturday 2/5 UConn @ Villanova Illinois @ Indiana Wake Forest @ FSU Texas Tech @ West Virginia Iowa State @ Texas Baylor @ Kansas USC @ Arizona Duke @ UNC Kentucky @ Alabama Sunday 2/6 Houston @ Cincinnati Dowell tells everyone to enjoy their basketball season for his last call. Conner challenges Auburn to win a top 15 road game so they would be humbled. Both hold truth to them. Listen to this episode to hear who the winners are of the Sticker Giveaway!
Conner and Dowell are joined by Gus Kearns from the Screen the Screener College Basketball Podcast (@STheSPodcast)! Like always, the guys pitch their upsets, review some beer, and preview the upcoming games in college basketball this week. Be sure to like, rate, review, and follow us to stay up to date!
Conner and Dowell are joined by Steven Rodriguez (@L_S_Rodriguez) of the Talkin' Tech Podcast (@TalkinTechPod). Steven provides an in-depth view of Tech's amazing season so far.  Steven also partook in the other segments too, so definitely check them out! Make sure to follow us on Twitter to enter the Beers & Buckets giveaway. You can win a shirt or stickers!!
Goo Goo G'Joob. B&B is back for episode 9 without Dowell though, so none of the other guys got bullied for their upset picks. Conner asks the hard hitting questions right off the bat. Upsets were pitched, beers were reviewed, including a Beatles-inspired sour ale. There is a h*ckuva lot of good basketball games on this week that you won't want to miss. Also, Tennessee basketball is not and will never be more relevant than Kentucky basketball.  "'How did you learn to play basketball? I saw it on TV a couple times, I thought I could do that.' - Jackie Moon" - Will Wade
Conner and Dowell are joined by Michael Beard of OSM Bracketology again! Since c*vid ruined some basketball, the guys did some random mailbag questions... It got weird. Like always, they reviewed some beer and talked about some potential upsets. Mike provided us with an update on bracketology now that we are beginning conference play. Beers & Buckets is one of the only podcasts that the hosts reveals if they are front to back or back to front wipers. Listen in to find out!
MAJOR SPIDER-MAN SPOILER ALERT: Matt (@BlueBreakdown on Twitter if you wanna go spam his account), the resident menace, decided to spoil Spider-Man: No Way Home around 38 minutes into the podcast, and again in the Heroes & Zeros segment. So if you haven't seen Spider-Man yet and you don't want it to be spoiled, wait until after watching Spider-Man to listen to this episode. Anyways... The boys are back with a somewhat lackluster week of college basketball thanks to covid. The guys talk about how the NCAA can better navigate this season as a governing body. Like always we do our Shark Tank Upsets, Beer Review, and Heroes & Zeros. To shake things up for Christmas, the guys share their college basketball Christmas wishlist. It's not biased at all... Beers & Buckets was top 5 in Santa's Spotify Wrapped while he was working in his workshop, so take a note from the big guy and give it a listen!
Yoooo Bucketheads! We're back with another awesome episode! Conner & Dowell are joined by Michael Beard (@TheBracketGuy) of OSM Bracketology to discuss college hoops and brews. The guys spend some time discussing how to make college basketball a more enjoyable product. Like always, the guys pitch some upsets and review some beers. We added a new segment called Heroes & Zeros so be listening for that! If you like this episode, please share it with your friends. We thank our listeners for your loyal support! :)
The Beers & Buckets crew is joined by one of the hosts of Kentucky Roll Call, T.J. Walker, as they traverse the ever-changing world of college basketball and the strong but steady world of beer. Dowell goes full-blown history major with some crazy facts about IPAs and Elysian beer. Like always, Dowell brings the heat with some stats to support his longshot upset. During his beer review, yet again, we all learn a little too much about Matt's personal endeavors, and what his college girlfriend may or may not have been into. T.J. and the Beers & Buckets crew review some IPAs even though all of them preface that "they aren't IPA guys"... Kyle gives us an update on his BYU Cougars (not to be confused with his other cougars) and how they are dealing with their first loss. Conner thinks Penny Hardaway is a dweeb for his desperate Instagram Stories post. One of the greatest men's ice skaters of all time, Chazz Michael Michaels, once said "I swear to God, I couldn't love a human baby as much as I love Beers & Buckets."
B&B is back with another jam-packed episode headlined by the recruiting analyst guru and GIF king himself, Travis Graf, of Made Hoops & Cats Illustrated! The guys sit down for an exclusive interview with Travis and talk a little bit of beer. He shares some insight behind the scenes in recruiting and how the process works for a recruiting starting at the middle school level. During this recording, you can hear the progression of Robert Dillingham's recruitment as well, and the final nail in the coffin for a blueblood's chances. The guys try some Pilsners this week for the beer review, while pitching some upsets to the Sharks.  Kyle updates us on the B&B Top 25 rankings, and we check in on the Mid-Major Madness teams! Beers & Buckets rocks almost as hard as Alanis Morissette, and that is a scientific fact. #YouOughtaKnow
Feast Week has arrived! Conner and Kyle are joined by Bradley Smith (@270BradleySmith) from Bradley's Basketball Banter podcast while Dowell and Matt are out. Conner, Kyle, and Bradley review the packed week and weekend of hoops, including a couple of top 5 matchups. They also preview a couple of Must-Watch Games of the Week and give their predictions. Conner & Kyle review some Ales, while Bradley reviews one of the best sodas created to mix with Moonshine. Bradley joins in on the fun and pitches his Shark Tank Upset of the week, along with Conner and Kyle. The guys check in on their Mid-Major Madness teams. Spoiler alert, Kyle picked a good one... #GoCougs The guys also give the inaugural Beers & Buckets Top 25 and give a live reaction to Arizona absolutely destroying Michigan. As always, we want to remind our listeners to enjoy everything responsibly, both beers and buckets. Uber & Lyft, don't be a Mark Few!
