How do we become godly and content and what do we gain by pursuing these virtues?
Jesus made it clear to his generation that He had come to be a greater priest, prophet, king, and brother than anything they had ever experienced before. The question is, who is Jesus to our generation?
Why do we worry? When we do worry, where do we turn? Jesus teaches on worry and how the believer is not to be "anxious about anything".
The Christian in this world must retain his saltiness: to live above reproach, speak against evil, and stand for good. Our call is to demonstrate and live out the gospel.
To see God, our hearts must be purified and to be seen as a child of God, having and resting in the peace of God is essential. As believers, our call is to live in purity and peaceably.
To live out a life blessed by God, our conduct must reflect several characteristics indicative of those that are righteous heirs of the Kingdom of God.
As followers of Christ, the source, pathway to, and experience of happiness in our spiritual walk are all contrary to the worldly and commonly accepted definition of the word.
There are three temptations Jesus faced that we face today as well: doubting God regarding His promises and provisions, testing God regarding His purpose and will, and forsaking God regarding His worship and service.
The baptism of Jesus represents the start to His public ministry. Jesus was appointed to His work on earth, anointed by the Holy Spirit, and approved by God the Father.

What does a life of complete surrender look like for a follower of Jesus Christ? Study the calling of Jesus' first disciples to follow Him as we learn what it means to know and follow Christ.
