It’s time to begin putting away childishness and all the useless garbage that immaturity picks up along the way. What comes to your mind when you think about spiritual childishness? I think about some of the battles I had a young man. We sometimes let those things hang around. Not anymore!
God is making us all into fully functional and completely capable, competent administers of His grace, and ministers of reconciliation of all of mankind back to God, but often when he’s calling on us were not developed yet. We are still immature. This is about to change.
The Scriptures are Spiritual and the must be spiritually discerned. It is just as wrong to apply scriptures without revelation as it is to refuse to live by scriptures. Doctrines derived from the endeavors of man will result in bondage in the church.
Have you ever encountered pretense of Godliness? We are all tempted with faking our way through things at times, and there are demonic lies that tell us it is correct to flip that switch and put on our worshiping hat, but God is looking for genuine organic love and adoration that flows from a pure reality cultivated within our hearts
Have you ever wondered how the grace of God is free and yet often your life is still controlled by many other things and your old way of living. God wants you to understand how to implement the grace that he makes available to you into you life and find the true power of the gospel in action.
What are you saying by your life? Are you washing your robes in the blood of the lamb? Have you made yourself ready as his bide. It is our job to call the lamb forth and to call anyone who desires God to come and drink from the waters of life.
Have you ever thought of salvation as preservation. In Greek that is one of the primary definitions the word translated in the new testament for saved. You will not be perfect without any problems in you when you are raised to new life. This is why overcoming in this life is so important.
This is my testimony and the story of my life in Jesus. I finally got to record most of the details in one session. God is really an ever present help in time of need!
I worked over Colossians 2:6 - 3:17 and combined NKJV NASB KJV and NLT along with phrasing from my word studies in Greek. I call it the Nemo Standard Translation. This is amazing and shows the power of the Gospel in some of the most clear and simple ways that all believers need to understand!
How do you know if you are saved? In this episode I deal with a very important reality and even if you aren't in a crisis of faith wondering if you are saved this will give you a lot of understanding about your salvation and how to be saved as well as growing closer to God.
One of the greatest weakness in the Church is that the beliefs we hold become so important to us that we define God by our limited understanding thus making them idolatry. In our worship we do the same thing when we are only stirred by worship lyrics that we like or agree with doctrinally. God wants to reveal himself and he is much bigger than our little box. We want to worship in truth, but even that truth is only our limited understanding, and Jesus commanded us to worship in Spirit.
Teaching has become the center of what we do at church, but God wants to make his presence the primary focus. Everything we do at Church should be centered around the manifest presence and the leadership of God's Spirit at work in and through his people. Pre-prepared sermons should be the exception rather than the rule in that what is spoken is made alive for that very moment and those specific people gathered.
Will you move when you feel God stir your heart. Will you let your dignity go and become the instrument of God to heal, restore, and build his kingdom?
We have an advocate with the father when we fail, but what should we do when we come short of the goal, or crash down so farthat we feel like we'll never get up?
