Molly, I know many progressives who LOVE and revere Newsom. He is fearless, articulate, compassionate, politically astute and he knows how to get things done! I've been listening to him for a long time and each word that comes from his mouth solidifies that belief. He is who we need to listen to and support. He will effectively fight pres Caligula. I also LOVE you and Andy. Long -time listener.

and laying the groundwork for even more extreme conduct. You reap what you sow to some degree. We are reaping what has been down in turning a blind eye to authoritarian, will to power, desire for dictatorship, racism, meanness, pathological lying and rampant propaganda. By not holding the first felon and his klan accountable, they have returned with a spirit to punish everyone they see as beneath them or their enemies. America played a game with the devil and the demons were unleashed.

I agree with much of Andy's final summations about truth, reconciliation and accountability. I disagree to some degree that Biden bears a lot of the blame. As president he sincerely wanted to bridge the divide and chasm created by the hyper partisan conduct and misconduct of the Republicans and Maga. It is Garland and people in the Senate and House who blocked or slow walked a lot. You cannot have reconciliation or forgiveness without accountability and repentance; otherwise, you are covering up

I know that it's a small thing, Molly, but ICE agents don't wear costumes. They were uniforms. They're law enforcement officers, not costume vigilantes.

Musk got vast subsidies from the U.S. government but claims he wants to cut costs. He's full of shit.

Molly needs to stop being so naive and superficial. Trump donate to Harris and Clinton before. OK so what? That is irrelevant. Musk, an Afrikaaner son of Apartheid, previously donated to Democrats doesn't mean he was one. Accept people for who they really are once once they show you their true selves. People change or they remove their mask to reveal who they were. A Nazi giving such a salute doesn't just wake up one day to become a Nazi. It was always there. You just ignored the signs.

I think JD Vance will have Trump set aside using the 25th Amendment within 6 months of their (God forbid) taking office.

I am an avid follower of this podcast and look forward to Rick Wilson's take on the 2024 campaigns. This morning Rick answered a question referencing if a VP pick had ever been changed after being nominated and confirmed at the DNC nominating convention. He said it was in 1972 and it was Edmund Muskie, which is WRONG! In 1972, George McGovern was the nominee and he chose Sen. Thomas Eagleton, who was dropped from the ticket when it was revealed he had undergone treatment for depression.

Sorry, I am very sympathetic to many of his arguments, but I thought Marcus Anthony Hunt was offensive.

I completely disagree. Of course, the abortion issue is a major galvanizing issue. One doesn't need to speculate about it. Losing a Constitutional right is serious. It has never happened, and just cause there isn't a precedence for it, it doesn't negate the obvious ramifications. The polls will show that Americans prefer a mainstream approach to constitutional rights & legislation and not extremism. Im surprised that the GOP hasn't been louder in their outcry of their GOP hijacked by extremists

Great admirer of the show and love your interview style. Just one query - isn't the correct word "pundit" with no second 'n'? Looking forward to you taking us through 2024. Trev in NZ.
