We’re back with a new Insanity Check episode with Kriss & Ro and we’re talking A.I. Doom bullshit that is back in the news. But this time it’s really annoying because the media and otherwise smart people are seemingly falling for the trick the A.I industry is trying to pull to avoid from having to actually address real safety and concern around their “products”. Topics: One of the greatest tricks Conservatives/Republicans have ever done is completely misrepresenting and poisoning the discussion around taxes and why they are needed Jacob Coxon quits Anthropic to “warn” everyone about the “dangers” of OpenAI/Anthropic racing towards Super Intelligence and…it’s giving Sci-Fi bullshit If people really cared about A.I. safety they would be talking about all the harms and dangers the A.I. industry has been causing TODAY and not trying to scare people about Skynet level fantasies Silcon Valley has been operating like a religious Doomsday cult for decades…this isn’t new Months ago the A.I industry was saying they needed to pivot/do a better job, convincing the public to ease backlash, as weird as it sounds…this is the pivot. We’re back with a new Insanity Check episode with Kriss & Ro.  Politics and the corporate world have been flooded with middle managers that don’t get anything done and make getting actual results take forever The Graham Platner saga is finally over and goes down in an actual shit show as those of us with a brain knew it would Platner spends 11 minutes in is drop out video doing everything but excepting responsibility for his own actions.  If the “white man does a bunch of dumb things to tank his own campaign but then blames the ‘establishment’ seems familiar it’s because it’s the Bernie Sanders method The consultants behind Platner did zero vetting of him and said voters didn’t want candidates grown in vats, as they grew a “white working class hero”…in a vat Would it surprise you that Dan Moraff also had sexual misconduct complaints?
