Description

Economics and finance demystified.

A recent listener's comment:

"I first heard about ChatGPT on your podcast and immediately started using it. I’m 73 and wrote my first program at 16. Having witnessed all developments in computing down the years I think this is the greatest since www. Your pod is informative in many different areas, politics, economics, society changes, housing crisis etc but at times goes beyond that. This episode tying up all this but also the implications of AI with a knowledgeable guest. ENTHRALLING! Keep it coming."

Love your show. Do you not think that basic economics is no longer the solution to supply shortages. Putting a mortgage up once again only makes bankers richer again. People will Seek wage rises to help , companies selling less will put up prices - all inflationary- at the expense of the public- the tax payer who finances everything at the end of the day. Instead banks should help at times like this, lower rates, help people which will help slower sales which is less inflationary.

always interesting and relative to the latest happenings..but i think the figures you've projected for car sales are not true. you've stated that diesel cars have taken a hammering in sales..the reason behind that is we can't buy diesel cars anymore. electric and hybrid cars are being forced on us. I wanted to buy a diesel replacement for my Renault Kadjar and there isn't anything. also Im using bio fuel in my car for 4 years without any problems..and its saud to be 90% cleaner..so why are we be

She has no credibility as a journalist. She lied to a public tribunal to favour Denis O'Brien.

To look at the North through some economic numbers is irrelevant. If you told southern voters that the top 5% of the wealthiest would do very well, some SMEs would do slightly better with some drip down to the vast majority do you think the country would vote to rejoin the Union?
