In this episode I talk about fandom (good and bad) and then get into a conversation about Superstar Women's Tennis player - Naomi Osaka and why I felt she left the French Open in May and why she's not competing in Wimbledon. Lastly, I talk about the recent controversial issue of why USA track and field superstar Sha-Carri Richardson was disqualified from running in the upcoming Olympics in Tokyo.  Thanks for listening!
In this episode I discuss what is good and not so good with Major League Baseball and where it stands today (in my opinion).
In this episode I discuss the recent sexual misconduct allegations involving Hall of Fame Baseball player and former Toronto Blue Jay player - Roberto Alomar. It's another very disturbing and unfortunate circumstance where we see a popular athlete violate their power and hurt innocent people in the process. I talk about what "Excellence" really means and what an actual hero looks like. There are many athletes out there who inspire people and help to create positive change. It's not what they do on the court/field/ice - it's everything they do before and after that represents who they are (IMO).    Please read Gideon Turk's article https://bluejaysnation.com/2021/05/02/on-roberto-alomar-and-the-true-sadness/ I feel that he nails it with this one.

In this episode of Under Review I follow up on my previous episode (This Ain't Right) about the Mickey Callaway situation that is still "under investigation." I then discuss the Myles Leonard fallout from Miami Heat/NBA and how I felt Adam Silver (NBA Commissioner) and Miami Heat were completely out of touch in their response to his racial and hurtful outburst on social media. Finally, I put the Texas Rangers "Under Review" for them allowing a full capacity crowd at their ballpark for their upcoming home opener on April 5th and how irresponsible I feel that is.
In Episode 5 of Under Review with Erik Grosman I first talk about the sad news in the sports industry with the passing of Walter Gretzky and Chris Schultz. Then I quickly discuss the disrespect among "NBA experts"of Raptor's legend - DeMar DeRozan and talk about Clubhouse and why I find it kind of weird and good all at the same time. After that I get into the main focus of the podcast about the Mickey Callaway situation and how the system in place keeps failing women over and over and over and over and over...............again. The "Stro-Show"

The "Stro-Show"

In this latest episode of Under Review I talk about the greatness of Tom Brady, Michael Jordan and Lebron James. I then talk about Draymond Green's comments about the double-standard that transpires in sports between players and management and the Fernando Tatis massive contract with the San Diego Padres. Finally, the main topic that I put Under Review this week is about the great accomplishments by Marcus Stroman and what it was like to work with an athlete that can sometimes be misunderstood. His remarkable journey as a Blue Jay, recovering from a major injury and being one of the most exciting players that I have come across during my time 18 years working in pro sports.  Correction: I said it would have taken 18 months for Stroman to recover and begin throwing back on the mound after ACL tear. That number should have been stated as closer to 9-12 months instead.
In this episode I begin with a few quick hitters that I've put "Under Review" about Bell Media, Vince Carter and Shaq's recent post game interview with Utah Jazz superstar - Donovan (Spider) Mitchell. I then discuss the feature topic about the greatness of former NFL running back - Ricky Williams and why he had to choose between using cannabis and playing in the NFL. A decision that he should never have had to make.
In this episode I discuss the importance and significance of Hank Aaron followed by an in depth look at why Cito Gaston was a brilliant manager for the Toronto Blue Jays. Finally, close the episode with my own personal story about Jose Bautista's famous bat-flip from Game 5 of the Division Series vs. Texas Rangers in the 2015 playoffs.
Discussing what is going on with Kyrie Irving these days and how it affects his relationship with the media and fans.
