**Trigger Warning: This episode discusses sexual assault and related topics ** Stephen is pure evil and deserves nothing but the worst. Too bad Diana can't abort Stephen away from all of their lives. If you need support, contact the RAINN Sexual Assault Hotline (U.S.) at 800-656-HOPE (4673) or chat via RAINN.
I have so many questions re Kyle & Amanda's breakup: Does Amanda get the dogs since Kyle will be DJ'ing? Why not make an official post? And finally...will Amanda get to retain a percentage of Loverboy? She should! I need to know if I'm being too hard on the RHOSLC cast during this season, and this reunion. It just wasn't feeling like the usual magic to me in every episode since their Below Deck collab.Lastly, if you haven't watched 'Industry' you need to so we can talk about our problematic favs next episode.
Spoilers! If you have not finished 'His & Hers' and you don't like spoilers - come back when you finish! Big fan of Jon Bernthal's horrible Southern accent BTW.
⚠️ Trigger Warning: This episode contains discussion of domestic violence and emotionally sensitive family dynamics. Please listen with care.In this episode, I sit down with Olivia Bateman, daughter of RHOSLC’s Britani Bateman, for her very first interview. Up until now, Olivia’s story has been shared in snippets via small on-screen moments, or often through her mother’s perspective. For the first time, Olivia speaks uncensored in her own words, and opens up about her relationship with Britani, her experience filming this past season, and what it’s been like navigating their relationship so publicly. If you or someone you know is affected by domestic violence, support is available. Contact the U.S. National Domestic Violence Hotline — 1-800-799-7233 or text START to 88788.If this episode brings up difficult emotions and you need someone to talk to contact the U.S. Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988 — available 24/7.

My best friend and fellow podcaster/ creator Bri, from Bri the Black Sheep, is helping me break down all of the antics episode 1. Bri has served as an advocate for women in DV and is informed on abuse and trauma. This unique perspective adds a layer of nuance to a heavy show like 'Tell Me Lies' that we all need! Reality tv discourse mirrors political discourse in the volatile way people communicate with each other and the inability to find common ground is a symptom of how unwell our society is right now and a reflection of the precedence our current administration sets. This documentary just felt...odd? I'm not saying that some valid concerns weren't presented, but most of the information we knew already from RHOSLC...and no nuance was provided at all for some very serious topics like incest, coercion, financial abuse and positions of power. What did you think? Let me know in the comments! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxylW_bumQo
The scene with Kusimaya and the village of people going silent around her felt eerily similar to when Koumba had the casino-themed party in Vegas with 100's of people from the hive and they each play their part of curating the illusion of a vibrant party and return to silence as soon as Koumba has left the suite and feels satiated from his party. Weird!

Is it wrong of me to say if Amanda doesn't divorce Kyle I don't need to see their relationship anymore? Does anyone want to see the Peter Pans of Charleston of anymore....? And do you think Meredith texted Brooks to call her during the argument with Heather? Tell me all of your thoughts in the comments!

I watched Harry's interview with Marciano so you don't have to! Grab a beverage and a snack and sit back as we stoop even lower into the pitts of hell and talk about why it's not okay that Hulu used allegations of sexual abuse as a storyline, and how we ended up here.If you enjoyed this video, please like, comment, make sure you're subscribed and hype if you have the points!
Thank you to the producers of Owning Manhattan who recognized that the audience wants to see the listings, the work conflict, the sales pitches and tense boardroom meetings NOT racist drama on Selling Sunset and Selling OC.
Trigger Warning: Sexual Abuse, Intimate Partner Violence, DVAs I finished this emotionally and spiritually draining documentary - two quotes kept ringing in my head: "That's how I got famous - from a tragedy". Of course this tragedy, where nine young people lost their lives, was just the start of the tragedies and fires that would follow Sean Combs, because he was responsible for each and every one of them. I believe there are a number of other individuals who are also responsible - or at the bare minimum complicit - for turning a blind eye, prioritizing their career, or relying on someone else to say something when they saw the harm that was being done. I'm not sure if 51 months is enough of a reckoning, to me personally, but as someone who believes in Hell....51 months is a small stone in the pond of eternity. One quick clarification for nuance: Not all men who experience childhood trauma become abusive. I wanted to highlight a statistical pattern shaped by socialization and power structures. Women experience childhood abuse at the same or higher rates but tend to internalize it differently. Pain often becomes self-blame or anxiety, instead of outward expressions of violence. Social consequences reinforce this because women/girls, especially BIack and brown children, who externalize aggression are punished early and severely by schools, adults, and the justice system.
Where was Andy? Or Keisha Knight Pullman from the Married at First Sight Aftershow? What got Stassi on the short list for hosting when she has no prior reference for how she mediates..? Additionally, I can't believe Hulu got away with no Trigger Warning's this entire season, when A LOT of it was heavy! Lastly, don't you think the next season should be filmed after the reunion so we get to see how everyone's dynamic is immediately following their "day of reckoning" if you will?
Maybe it's impossible to recreate the magic of a show that thrived because they cast "nobody's" with big dreams, bad budgeting, benders, big breakups and barely any aspirations outside of making it to the bar to blow off steam from whatever chaos happened that week. Or maybe they could have done it if they cast her real full-time staff? What do you think?
