Backyard Ultra Podcast

In 2024 Dan Camac ran a huge 75 yards for Team Australia at the Sat Champs.  He followed  up a year later with another huge run, this time at Bigs for the Individual World Championship where he ran 93 yards.  Just recently Dan ran again for The Redback Yarders, this time he finished as the Last One Standing, completing 87 yards.

Tim Moffatt and Dom Halbert came back to recap the Satellite World Championship Fantasy Competition.  All the runners, all the teams, all the stats and all the glory.

Ryan Crawford ran his first Backyard Ultra in 2019 where he ran 25 yards.  He has since run 24 more Backyard Ultras including 2 times at Individual World Champs at Bigs and represented 'The Redback Yarders' three times.  In total, he has run 1189 yards.  Ryan has been focussing a lot of attention on coaching and has recently launched his website www.whitekenyancoaching.com

Costa Rican Runner and Sat Champs Team Manager Kendall Picado Fallas came onto the podcast to dive deep into team Costa Rica, which is making it's Backyard Ultra Satellite World Team Championship debut this weekend.

John Bayne is the Captain of the New Zealand Satellite World Championship Team.  John ran his PB of 72 yards at this race two years ago to finish as the assist.  Shaun Collins ran for Team New Zealand in 2020 and ran his PB of 39 yards at Kings last year.  This year, Shaun will be at the helm of the New Zealand race livestream.  Shaun and John break down the New Zealand 2026 Sat Champs team.
