Ben would like to dedicate this episode to the unknown idiots out there, this one is for you. This week the guys cover the final Jason Statham Transporter movie. This is the episode of many tangents, but don’t you worry it still features some some great discussions centred around the stunts, the actors and as always the production crew.
Can the second Transporter movie get any more ridiculous than the first? Listen to find out. This week the guys cover  Transporter 2, expanding their  discussion from last week, still talking about Jason Statham, more on Inspector Tarconi, Lolas crazy character, some off topic tangents, bonkers scenes, and Adam brings some interesting trivia this time around. Tune in for this wild episode!
This week the guys start Diell’s beloved Transporter franchise. The love for Jason Statham in this episode is unanimous, unlike the divided opinions the guys have on the movie. We discuss our favourite scenes, the impracticalities, ridiculous Hollywood exaggerations, Jason’s Olympic past and current extraordinary skills, and Adam even gets stumped with the lack of trivia on this movie! Join us on this fun ride.
Last in the getaway driver series the guys cover Baby Driver.  A much more recent movie centred around its great soundtrack. The discussion highlights some fun aspects of the movie that you may have not noticed upon the first or even the second viewing, Diell gives us a great explanation of the driving and Ben shares his interpretation of the ending. Listen to find out more!
Continuing in the getaway driver mini series the guys discuss Drive, featuring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. In the episode the guys talk about  the impracticalities of some of the cars used in the movie, argue about what classifies as a car movie, as well as mention some notable scenes and fun trivia about the movie and it’s production. Tune in to find out our thoughts!
On this episode the guys cover The Driver from 1978, starting yet another mini series this time centred on getaway drivers. They give a perfect recap and go in deep with the details. Lots of great cars in this movie  which leads to a great guessing game at the end! Listen to find out if Adam guessed the cars right!
Similarly to the movie, this episode is all over the place; the messy recap, the shaky relationships in the movie, some great Sylvester Stallone impressions, the timeline of Stallones career, the over use of the word “overlap”, the wild trivia and more. Join us for the last movie in the race car movie mini series!
On this episode the boys discuss their strong thoughts on this 1971 movie and why it may or may not have been as great as anticipated. Another movie that’s a  part of the mini race car movie series we have going on. Tune in to find out more.
Next in our mini series is Grand Prix, filmed in 1966. A race car movie staple, directed by John Frankenheimer who also directed Ronin, covered in episode 7 of the podcast. In this episode the guys cover topics like the filming process, equipment, editing, overall production, cinematography and what makes this movie the foundation of race car movies and how it influenced the future of car films.
