We touch on his 119* against a touring England Lions for Australia A in 2021, the 2020/21 Sheffield Shield final in which he got targeted by Mitchell Starc and batting with Marnus Labuschagne. We also, much to Bryce's dismay, dive into his pretty manky, controversial, viral run-out while playing in Essex last summer. The Niche Cricket Shit Draft makes its return, with the boys drafting the best components of a match tea spread.

Paddy and Trent are joined by Oscar Ress for a discussion about just how impactful the impact sub has been, how CSK have turned Ajinkya Rahane's career around and who we're tipping to win the title. This week's Village Moment comes from the County Championship, where the boys run a 'How to drop a catch 101' crash course for Jimmy Anderson. The boys also relive the CC's biggest talking points (including friend of the show Ali Orr's recent misfortune), continue to beat the opener crisis dead horse, and run through the Aussie squad that's been announced ahead of the Ashes.

Daniel Bell-Drummond joins Paddy and Trent to discuss the start of Kent's 2023 County Championship campaign and the early signs of the Bazball effect in domestic cricket. Daniel also dives into his crazy start to professional cricket as a hot young prospect and how he's managed to stay focused since - with summers down under, getting a gig at The Hundred, playing T10 cricket and improving his power-hitting while dominating The Blast. He also tells us what Dave Warner's REALLY like, and describes a night out with Chris Gayle... Paddy and Trent keep true to their promise and double up! In the IPL: Harshal Patel's failed non-striker run-out shows us that mankads are only human; Rinku Singh bats with his Winku Singh; and Ben Stokes wears black shoes for CSK. And the County Championship gets underway: Peter Handscomb scores runs but Trent wants him nowhere near the Ashes squad; Foakes and Crawley stake their respective England claims; and Bazball isn't quite as virulent as first thought.
