It seems like everyone has been feeling the ‘sad’ lately because everything that could happen seems to be happening all at the same time and, honestly, it all just seems too much. So we thought we’d do a vulnerable conversation and really dig out something we can hold on to for now. We hope you get something from this too.

Here’s part 2 of our conversation with Sam and Mira Pangkey of LOJ Indonesia where we talk about what it’s like to be Catholics in their country and how different (or similar!) our cultures are. This was such an interesting conversation and a very timely reminder for us that we are so privileged that we have access to this very beautiful Catholic faith! Now… how do we live that out?

What does it look like when we really embrace the gifts that God has given to us? It can sometimes be so scary because we don’t know what it’ll look like or if we’ll like it at all. But, in this conversation, we discover how this journey to embracing what God has given us is so full of many good things, the biggest good of them all being finding traces of God every step of the way.

**SORRY FOR BEING MIA! We had technical (and scheduling) difficulties.
In this episode, we talk about our ~insecurities~, our triggers, and how we deal with them. This was quite a difficult thing to talk about, cause it felt like we had to be so so so vulnerable and admit these things that we normally keep to ourselves. But it was also very freeing because we realized that we’re not alone in this and that God still very much delights in what we give and who we are.
We did a bit of girl talk with our friends from Light of Jesus Family Indonesia, Sam Pangkey and Mira Pangkey! They got to attend the Feast Conference so we ended up sharing our own experiences and takeaways from the conference. And wow it was just beautiful.
Watch out for part 2!
Fresh from singing at the Feast of the Nazarene when we recorded this, we found it just right to talk about how in awe we were about how the whole experience was, reflections and bloopers included. Haha!

Christmas hits different when you're in your late 20s and 30s. The magic is still there—it just looks nothing like what we expected. In this episode, we get real about the mess and beauty of Christmas as young adults trying to follow Jesus while navigating family gatherings, well-meaning titas asking "When's the wedding?", and the shift from receiving gifts to giving them.We dive into: ✨ Why Christmas air/vibes still hit (even when your birthday gets overshadowed by the season) ✨ The beautiful tension of loving people while bracing for "you've gained weight" comments ✨ How our traditions are evolving—from following our parents' ways to creating our own (hello, quiet Christmas movies and hot chocolate nights) ✨ Why we're suddenly more sentimental (spoiler: Jesus as THE gift becomes more real with age) ✨ The wild contrast between the first Christmas (small, dirty manger) and how we celebrate today (lights, parties, excess) ✨ Finding hope in the "smallness"—what we do might feel hidden now, but someone else will celebrate its fruit later. The most powerful moment? Realizing that something as humble as a baby in a manger became a celebration that has lasted 2,000+ years and reached the entire world. Even when we feel small, unseen, or like our work doesn't matter—God's timeline is so much bigger than ours. This Christmas, we're learning to be more present, to watch people celebrate (even if they don't know WHY they're celebrating), and to hold onto hope that what God is doing in our "small manger" moments will bear fruit we might never see—but will be beautiful beyond what we can imagine. For young leaders, worship warriors, and anyone who's ever felt too small to make a difference.

For this episode, we had the chance to chat with The Catholic Comedian and Social Media Missionary, Mr. Romar Chuca. We know him mostly for his content on TikTok (and he is quite literally one of the wittiest people we’ve met!), but it’s so interesting to know his story and how much he loves our Catholic faith. Listen to this episode (and try not to laugh). 😂
