We have talked a lot on the podcast about Dustin Pedroia's Hall of Fame candidacy, going so far as to name our project 'Operation 1526'. Now, we may have found the ultimate voice in pushing Pedroia toward Cooperstown. Bradfo sits down with Brewers manager Pat Murphy to discuss and dissect why Pedroia's former college coach at Arizona State is adamant that the second baseman belongs in the Hall. Bradfo also catches up with one of Murphy's young pitchers, Brandon Sproat, who is living life with the Brewers after being a key part of the Freddy Peralta deal with the Mets. James Tibbs III has had a wild ride over the past couple of seasons. After being drafted in the first round by the Giants in 2024, he was promptly traded last season to the Red Sox in the big Rafael Devers. But just 47 days later came another trade, this one sending Tibbs to the Dodgers at the trade deadline. Through it all, Tibbs has suddenly emerged as perhaps the hottest hitter in minor league baseball, having already hit seven homers in Triple-A. The former Florida State product joins Bradfo to talk about everything you would want to know about Tibbs' journey, approach and personality. Nick Punto was one of our original go-to guys at Baseball Isn't Boring when we started the podcast, which is one of the many reasons why we love catching up with him. But another pertinent topic of conversation Bradfo has with The Shredder when sitting down is the evolution of baseball players and the game they play. Now, the Padres infield coach, Punto, offers a next-level perspective when it comes to the difference in how players exist in this world of baseball, from youth baseball to the big leagues. There is also, as always, some good Dustin Pedroia talk. To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Nick Pivetta has the kind of stuff most big league pitchers dream about, with the Padres starter living in the high 90th percentile in multiple key pitching categories on Baseball Savant. But that doesn't mean he hasn't changed and evolved over the past year or so. Bradfo catches up with Pivetta to talk about his recent pitching path, while getting an honest look view at how the new strike zone is impacting the way he is going about things. Meh, he basically just says he does some things differently, maybe a bit slower, but he's still part of the youth baseball industrial complex.

Not sure who sees this but, could you do a better job of balancing the audio levels of the speakers? One guy is soft and the other is VERY LOUD and it makes listening a chore.
