October 31st marks 3 years of the Around The CFL Podcast and it's playoff time. We look at week 21 in the CFL, and the past week in U-Sports. And it wouldn't be Halloween unless we sneak in and see what is scaring each of the 9 teams this spooky season.
Taking a look at week 20 in the Canadian Football League as well as an action packed U-Sport week.
We are joined this week by the CEO of all University Athletics in Canada, U-Sports' Pierre Arsenault. We chat about the CFL rule changes impacts on Canadian College Footbll, SFU, and the direction the sport is going in Canada.
We are back after a short break and we are talking week 18 as well as a look back at the Canadian College Football week, then looking forward to the playoff push of week 19 in the 2025 CFL season.
Monday's announcement by CFL Commissioner Stewart Johnson sparked a lot of conversation. This week my good friend and CFL on TSN Insider Dave Naylor comes on quickly to talk about the new rules and what we could expect. We also take a moment to celebrate the legendary life of Hamilton Tiger-Cats General Manager Ted Goveia who recently passed.

Labour Day weekend has past and that means 2 things. We are 2/3's of the way through the 2025 CFL season, and Canadian College Football has begun. This week we recap the CFL week, as well as all of the U-Sport football games. We also send some love to our Canadian's who made the 53's in the NFL, and look ahead to week 14.
This week we are looking at the top 10 Canadians that are 2026 CFL Draft eligable. We also look back at week 11, as well as ahead to week 12.
The U-18 Women's Tackle Football National Championship was last month and joining us is the head coach of Team Alberta, Shawn Walter. We chat about his 3rd National Title and what it takes to develop his winning squad.
