We’re continuing our 31 Days of Me journey for the month of March, and this time we’re sharing about a recent trip my husband and I took to Dallas. In this episode, we open up about taking time away, what the experience meant for us, and why moments like this are so important. We also unpack the myth that taking care of yourself has to come after you’ve taken care of everyone else. Instead, we talk about the power of rest, the importance of support systems, and how allowing others to pour into you can make you a better partner, parent, and person. This conversation is a reminder that self-care isn’t a luxury, it’s part of living well.
March is all about 31 Days of Me, a commitment to intentionally pouring back into myself every single day this month. In this episode, we talk about why creating space for yourself isn’t selfish, it’s necessary, especially in the middle of motherhood and everyday responsibilities. We also share a very real mom moment, navigating a situation where one of my children didn’t want to take a shower, and how moments like that can unexpectedly hurt your heart. It opened up a deeper conversation about patience, emotional triggers, and the tender side of parenting that we don’t always talk about. This episode is about self-care, grace, and learning to hold space for both yourself and your children at the same time.
In this episode, we kick things off by reacting to Jeni’s Ice Cream’s IG post that says, “Every season is ice cream season (all 11 of them)” and honestly, we might agree with the weather changes lately. From there, we slide into a weekly recap, sharing what life has looked like lately, what we’ve been up to, and how we’re preparing for the girls’ upcoming spring break trip.
Valentine’s Day may have passed, but loving yourself shouldn’t be limited to one day. In this episode, we talk about creative and meaningful ways to love on you, from writing yourself a heartfelt letter to intentionally filling your own cup through shopping, a makeover, or a solo date challenge. We explore what it looks like to celebrate yourself without waiting on anyone else to do it. Because self-love isn’t selfish, it’s necessary.
In this episode, we talk about getting prepared for a winter storm here in Atlanta, because even a little snow can change everything. I share how we’re prepping at home, what to think about when schools and routines are disrupted, and the mindset shift needed when weather creates uncertainty. I also open up about navigating storm prep while working in a hospital, where working remotely isn’t an option and showing up is part of the responsibility. It’s a real conversation about planning ahead, staying calm under pressure, and balancing family needs with work obligations during unpredictable weather.
In this episode, we’re looking ahead to 2026 with intention. We talk about goal setting in a realistic, meaningful way and how creating a vision board can help bring clarity to what you truly want in the next year. From personal growth and family goals to self-care and mindset, we share how we’re shaping our vision and staying aligned with it. If you’re ready to dream, plan, and move forward with purpose, this episode will help you start laying the foundation for 2026—one vision at a time.
In this episode, we’re talking about how to prepare for upcoming inclement weather and what it really looks like to be snowed in with your family. From stocking up on essentials and planning easy meals to keeping the kids entertained and staying calm when routines get disrupted, we share practical tips and mindset shifts to help you feel ready. Whether you’re bracing for snow, ice, or just unexpected downtime, this episode is all about staying safe, connected, and cozy together.
