Welcome to The Prostate Cancer Clinical Masterclass Series which is co-chaired by Dr Sumit Subudhi and Dr Gerhardt Attard. This is a twelve-month initiative, consisting of monthly instalments. These will be led by two guest presenters who will each deliver a 15 minute presentation, followed by a group discussion with the co-chairs.

Welcome to this bonus episode in the Prostate Cancer Clinical Masterclass Series. This is an independent educational initiative organised by The Clinical Comms Group.
In today’s episode our co-chiars, Sumit Subudhi and Gerhardt Attard, will summarise some of the opportunities and challenges they believe will be important in the next 1 to 2 years for prostate cancer treatment.
This month we are joined by Dr Joshua Lang, from the University of Wisconsin Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center, Madison, who will present on the very current topic of ‘Metastatic Niche and Treatment Resistanc’. We will also hear from Prof Andrea Alimonti, from the Institute of Oncology Research, Bellinzona, who will help to add clarity around the fascinating topic of ‘Role of Microbiome in Treatment Resistance’. It is co-chaired by Dr Gerhardt Attard, from University College London, who leads the group disucssion to close the episode.
This month we are joined by Dr Lorelei Mucci, from the Harvard School of Public Health, Massachusetts, who will present on the very current topic of ‘Disparities in Ethnic Minorities’. We will also hear from Prof Derek Rosario, from Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, Sheffield, who will help to add clarity around the very current question of ‘Is There a Role for Diet and Exercise?’.
