Why is it important on who we give our allegiance to? Does it matter who we worship or is it better to just go along in ignorance and follow the popular beliefs? Popularity does not determine truth. Are you holding onto traditions above scriptures like the Pharisees and Sadducees of Jesus’s day? Most will not step out of their comfort zones because then they would be held accountable to what they know. Don’t let that be your reason for losing eternal life. Join me as I wrap this season up and address the question at hand. Identity has become a big topic in these last days. Confusion has been the enemy’s main tactic to dilute who we truly are because he knows the power we have when we know our true identity. Our memory is not the best in helping us remember what the Creator of the universe has told us. Allow me to remind you who you are according to the Almighty. I challenge you to start believing what the word of God has to say about you and stop listening to that voice of negativity. Allow the promises of God to fill your mind. I pray this study is a blessing to you as it was to me.
What is faith? Do I need it in order to be saved? If it’s so important, then why do I find it so hard to obtain? Life’s troubles tend to throw us into these spirals of doubt and looking for answers in the wrong places. Unbelief is the root of all sin. The antidote to unbelief is faith. Come learn what this antidote is and how to know for sure that we have it.
What’s in it for me? That is a question many people ask when it comes to this topic of salvation. Am I required to just obey and do what God says? Obedience is a misunderstood word most commonly viewed by the world as being weak or “underneath” someone meaning less than that person to whom obedience is required. Is that really what the creator of this universe is saying or is a gift that comes when salvation is received? Join me as I explore the fruits of this free gift given to us by the Creator and His Son.
Naturally after learning about the beautiful plan of salvation, one’s next question is, what next? In this episode, I share what the Bible says about our next steps on choosing eternal life. Again, the Bible is clear and direct. No beating around the bush or making it a mystery. Clear steps. If you’ve been following me along this journey in discovering what salvation is all about and want to know what you must do to be saved, then I pray you are blessed by this episode. ***Side note*** If you desire to push ahead, feel free to check out the studies on www.revelation1412.org.
Depending on who you ask this question to, you’ll get all sorts of answers. Many will lead you to believe that our works or our faith is what saves us but does the Bible really say that. We can’t take others words as truth. Come with me as I explore this topic and get straight to the point and allow God to answer this question.
Finding the truth of this crucial topic is vital to gaining eternal life. If it’s so important, where do I find it? Are my good deeds the thing that gets me salvation? Is it something I do or say? These are the questions that I answer in this short bible study. Let’s open up the scriptures and allow it to answer our deepest concerns of the life after this one.
All this talk about being saved. I’m told it’s important in this life and that without it, I’m doomed. But honestly, what does it mean to be saved? What am I being saved from? And how does this all play into the true identity of this savior I’m suppose to accept and believe. These are questions that I pondered in the beginnings of my spiritual journey and still need reminding of every now and then. I pray that you join me in Season 2 of This Is My Son podcast as I take this One True God message back to the basics and the fundamentals.
When it comes to man’s traditions, one thing that stands out and is repeatedly done to prove something that just isn’t in the Word of Truth is this habit of taking verses out of their immediate context. 1 John 5:7 is no exception to this bad habit. This verse is taught to the common church goer that it means the trinity is real. Here is their “proof” to back up their claims. But does it really prove a triune God? I beg to differ. Allow me to use the immediate context of this verse to show what John was saying when he said “these three are one”. This is the last episode for this season and I look forward to starting season 2 shortly. Grab your pens and note pads and let’s dig into scripture!
This question was my biggest obstacle to overcome when it came to learning of the One True God message. I refused to believe that begotten was different than the word created. I thought a friend of mine was saying that Christ was created and it infuriated me. Once I learned the difference between these words and I allowed the Bible to interpret itself, I was brought to a beautiful truth. “In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live though him” 1 John 4:9. Come and test all things!
John 1:1 sets up the divinity of Christ from before the beginning of time. John uses this verse to prove the sonship of Christ yet many misunderstand and misuse this verse to do the very opposite of what John meant. Instead of proving the divine sonship of Christ, they take his relationship to the Father away and try to make him another God who isn’t really the son of God. This question tends to be asked a lot and to answer it, I have asked Brother Imad from www.revelation1412.org to expand on the thought that John was expressing. Join us as we discover the truth on John’s epistle and find out what his point was in writing the entire book.
I’ve heard these verses come up multiple times when asking about the proof of the trinity. I've unfortunately seen this theology forced into the verses. They are made to be more than what the Bible teaches plainly. In this episode, I dive into the meaning of both Matthew 3:16,17 and 28:19. Christ tells us to baptize in the "name" of the Father, the Son, and the holy spirit. Well, what does he mean? Does this singular name prove the 3 in 1 theology. The simple answer is no, and I encourage you to seek the truth with me. Have your Bibles out for this one and take notes to study again and again!
Learning the identity of the One True God of the Bible and His Son Jesus Christ is a salvational topic. We learned through prior episodes how the trinity deceives us and makes the plain revelation of the Father a mystery. Naturally, this topic brings many questions. We are so entangled by the tradition of the trinity that we fail to hear what is being said in scripture. Now, let’s dive into the most common questions that come up when speaking of this One True God message. This is “Questions and Answers” Part 1.
If the Bible says there is only one God and that Jesus is the Son of God then where does the Holy Spirit fit into the picture? This topic has been covered with mystery and caution tape all around the premises for so long that just mentioning anything about it seems to get you funny looks from the teachers that teach you about it. It’s almost like they themselves don’t know the answers so they don’t want you to push to what they deem as impossible to know. Well, if you’re tired of not getting answers then join me as I dive into the revelation of what scripture has to say about the person of the Holy Spirit.
Is the Son of God divine? Are we to worship the Son as we worship the Father? Was Christ created or begotten or did he always exist? Does it even matter when it comes to our salvation? These are the questions I am allowing scripture to answer. Join me in discovering the truth about who the Son is and who he claimed to be while on earth.
Is God one substance in three persons like the trinity says? Is the word “one” to be taken literal? If it is, where does that leave the Son of God? These are questions that I avoided for far to long on my journey of truth. I felt that I was diving into something that was labeled a mystery. Today’s apologetics make me feel like I need some sort of degree to understand the plain words of the Bible. Join me in this episode as I read what I believe to be clear evidence of the One True God of the Bible and it’s plain words of truth. ***Source material derived from www.revelation1412.org***
“Many who refrain from investigating the truth and the personality of God take (verses from the Bible) in order to justify their unwillingness to investigate this important issue but the context of the quotation matters”(*). This quote hits the issue right on the head. Are there certain things of God that are mystery? If so, how much of God is a mystery? And where does this start and end? These are some the questions that I will be addressing in this episode of This is My Son. I pray that you are blessed in hearing this and that it causes you to open up your bibles and investigate into the matter. Allow me to introduce myself and explain what this podcast will be about. The Son of God gospel is so beautifully written by the patriarchs of old and has transformed so many lives in the past and continue to do so in the present. Unfortunately, I am starting to see what the enemy has been doing to destroy that message by clouding this gospel with mystery. The more confusing it becomes to the ordinary reader, the less likely someone will read it. One of the most deceptive theologies in circulation that truly covers our eyes to the truth is the idea of this God in three persons ideology. The trinity is a topic that is covered in mystery and destroys the personality of God the Father. It takes the sacrifice of the Father and the Son and turns it into just a metaphor and a human sacrifice. This idea is only flushed out when you push past the basic answers given by someone who defends the trinity. I don’t mean to offend anyone with this current belief, however, I do challenge you to test all things and prove them. In this episode, I will be announcing my affirmations and beliefs and laying the ground work for what this podcast is and is not. I invite you to take a listen and warn you that what you will be hearing will challenge you and I pray you stay long enough to receive the truth about God the Father and his divine Son Jesus Christ.
The danger that comes with deception is that it’s outcome is not fully revealed until years later. Study with me to make sure you do not fall into either of it’s categories.
Welcome to This is My Son podcast. I'm your host, Robert Santana, and I'm excited that you've decided to join in and search the scriptures with me. I'm not sure where you're listening from or who shared this with you, but I'm happy you're here. I want to invite you on a journey to a great controversy happening between good and evil. Between our creator, His divine son, and the fallen angel who was known as Lucifer. Ever since the fall the devil has employed multiple deceptions to attack the sunship of Jesus, to make God a liar, to destroy the love of God, the righteousness by faith, the atonement, and so much more. This controversy we have comes down to who we worship. And I believe the devil's greatest deception is the 3 in 1 God theology also known as the Trinity for the reasons I mentioned earlier. So I invite you to search the scriptures with me to unmask this so called mystery and allow God to reveal the plain truth about His identity.
