In this episode of The Scoop, multimedia reporter Izzie Erickson (‘28) interviewed sophomores Josie Le Blanc and Bonnie Van Hoytema, along with two guardians of kids at the park, Jaida and Validea. They investigate the importance of parks and how these community spaces encourage stronger social skills for kids, while also improving residents mental health.

With only two seniors, the team is made up of predominantly underclassmen, leaving the team smaller and — at times — less motivated. Titled “Come Together,” Murray, Huang and Nordling discussed their favorite aspects, biggest challenges and the choir and orchestra communities.
In this episode of The Scoop Senior Reporter Shae Killam (‘27) talked with Dakota Tooley (‘26) about her summer abroad in Taiwan as part of the National Scholarship for Youth Program. Tooley shared that she stayed with a host family and attended Chinese classes during the day.
