A gimmick deck - or is it? Our very own deck is in conflict with itself. It's Humans Vs. Zombies. The zombies are saccing the humans, and vice versa. All while we're trying to win a game of Commander! Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode. Part 1 of my budget brewing process - picking the Commander. I recorded myself live going through the brewing process. Part 2 will be actually brewing up the whole 100 cards of one of these ideas! Here are my most used scryfall.com terms:USD<0.5 - show me cards below 50 centsID:dimir - show me cards within the dimir colour identity. 1, 2 or even 0 colour cards.legal:commander - don't show me any acorn cards or online only cardsrarity>=r - show me rare and mythic cards only. Most useful at higher mana values. Lots of 6 mana "duds" at common. Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode. Since Kethek, Crucible Goliath finds nonlegendary creatures only, what if we stack the deck to guarantee what we hit? Let's explore the best nonlegendary creatures to torment our opponents with. Kethek has ONE JOB and that's to find our MVP creature. Combo or not, this is a fun brew! Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode. Ovika, Enigma Goliath, the new Izzet Spellslinger seven-drop from ONE is the newest in a long line of Izzet Spellslingers. Can this Phyrexian Horror offer anything new? - spoiler - Yes.Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode. All is One gives us some new Commanders, and new tools for poison decks. We can't call them "infect decks" anymore because they're not the only poison creatures anymore. And we probably shouldn't call them "toxic decks" because that's already hard control stax's name. Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode. I couldn't resist doing another Rocco deck. He's the ultimate in versatility. This time, it's mostly a Boros Attacking Legendaries deck. They've started pushing Boros Legendaries, recently. Not enough to make me want a whole Boros deck, but Rocco will do nicely! Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode. Here's my take on some of the new Legendaries from All Will Be One. It's an early release, so there's probably some Battle Commander that hasn't been spoiled yet. If a super sweet one has yet to drop, I'll do a full episode on it. Promise! Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode. Jan Jansen, as a Mardu value Commander has plenty of potential. Kodama is easily the best landfall Commander there is. Get a Temur version going for maximum landfall for tokens and card draw means we could play all our lands in one turn! Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode. These were the new Commanders from 2022 that I think have the most potential to brew around. There's a lot. That's because there were over 350 new ones! Should this be a daily podcast? Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode. If you're planning on getting these, or any other cards, please go through this link. Farid makes “useless” scrap tokens. Of course we’re going to see how we can get a ton of value from them! Here’s a look at Farid and cards that would go in their deck, as well as some other Commanders that would appreciate Farid’s extra scrap! Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode. Tawnos seems like an artifact Commander at first, but there’s a powerful spellslinger brew in here too. Returning spells by copying creatures, untapping Tawnos, proliferating the charge counters on huge artifacts. This deck is a hoot! Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode. If you're planning on getting these, or any other cards, please go through this link. Mishra looks like a simple unearth commander. But if we look to a pinger strategy using artifacts entering, we can get some explosive turns! Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode. The Archimandrite looks unfocused. I prefer to see it as having lots of potential. The Artificers and the Monks have some interesting overlap. And the advisors are hiding a fun mill deck! Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode. Ashnod’s copy ability will lead to some very neat moves. It can be a bit tricky to narrow down the search. I’ll also cover some Scryfall search tech to help you out! Scryfall search:Id:grixis (t:artifact OR t:creature) o:/sacrifice.*:/ Just add o:mill or o:draw at the end to get specific effects. Here's a TCGPlayer link to a list of the cards mentioned in this episode.
