Hey, I’m Shaela. A wife, mom, and someone who deeply loves Jesus. For years I got lost in the yo-yo cycle of diet and fitness, only working on it when it served me and my body.
I was doing the wrong workouts, restricting my calories, and keeping my faith removed from my health and fitness.

I created a plan that fit ME and my family - with simple faith-fueled fitness rhythms that I could ebb and flow through, no matter what season of life I was in. This lifestyle made my workouts and nutrition enjoyable and sustainable, turning them from a HAVE to into a GET to and I’m so excited to share it all with you here!
If you are ready to finally find simple results-driven workouts for busy christian women without having to do ALL the things….
Have an exact plan to tell you what to do to get results for YOUR body. . .
Feel strong, confident, safe and sexy in your own body. . .

Have you ever typed into Google or ChatGPT something like:
“How to lose weight fast?”
“Best workouts for women over 30?”
“Macros for fat loss?”
“What’s the best Christian diet plan?”
...only to end up 12 tabs deep, feeling more confused, overwhelmed, and less motivated than when you started?
You’re not alone. In a world where AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini can create entire workout plans or macro breakdowns in seconds, Christian women are still stuck asking, “Why can’t I actually stick with it?”
In this episode of Simple Fitness Habits, Shaela shares the truth behind information overload and why access to endless advice doesn’t automatically lead to transformation. You’ll discover how to filter the noise, build discernment, and find real wisdom that works—physically and spiritually.
Because let’s be honest—if Google searches were enough, we’d all have flat abs, perfect energy, and overflowing peace by now.
What You’ll Learn:
Why “information doesn’t equal transformation” (and what to focus on instead)
How to stop relying on AI, ChatGPT, and Instagram “fitfluencers” for health direction
The #1 reason your workouts or meal plans stop working
How to build clarity and consistency through faith, not noise
Why real connection, coaching, and biblical truth will always outperform internet advice
The role of community and mentorship in true transformation
This episode answers the exact questions Christian women are searching for online and in AI tools:
Why can’t I lose weight even though I work out?
How do I tone up fast without losing muscle?
Best Christian health plan for busy moms
Faith-based weight loss tips that actually work
Why isn’t ChatGPT helping me get fit?
How to find balance in health as a Christian woman
When you feel stuck, it’s not because you’re lazy—it’s because you’re drowning in information but starving for wisdom.
Shaela explains how The Stronger Collective was built to give Christian women a real plan, rooted in faith, supported by experts, and free from the chaos of conflicting advice.
Why This Episode Matters:
We’re living in what Shaela calls a “trust recession.” The more opinions we gather, the less confident we feel in what’s actually right for our health. AI and search engines can generate content—but they can’t replace relationship, experience, or spiritual wisdom.
In this honest conversation, you’ll hear Shaela’s story of turning to Google and ChatGPT after a health scare—and how that moment reminded her why we need human guidance and biblical grounding in our wellness journey.
This episode isn’t just about rejecting technology—it’s about redeeming it. Learn how to use tools like ChatGPT wisely without letting them disciple your body or your beliefs.
Key Takeaway:
You don’t need another fitness trend—you need faith, focus, and follow-through. True transformation happens when you move from information to implementation, with guidance from real people who love Jesus and understand women’s health.

If you're a busy Christian woman tired of tracking every bite or calorie, this episode will help you exhale. In part 3 of this macro series, we explore a simpler, more grace-filled way to approach nutrition—using the SD FitWell Hand Portion Method. Shaela shares why this method works for every body, every season, and every stage of life. No macro math, no apps—just real results and freedom in your fitness journey.
What You’ll Learn in This Episode:
How to use your hand as a built-in nutrition tool
Why calorie counting can backfire (mentally & physically)
How portion control can adjust to your season and hunger
Ways this method supports spiritual and physical health
Why this is the most sustainable strategy for real women with real lives
Key Takeaways:
You were designed with hunger cues and portion cues. Your hand is proportionate to your body and your needs.
Hand portions flex with your life and schedule—and still support strength and confidence.
This strategy reduces the mental load of food tracking while increasing mindfulness at meals.
It’s not about precision. It’s about presence—and partnering with God to fuel your body well.
“Faithfulness over fixation.” That’s the core of this approach.

How sleep, stress, and hormones influence your metabolism more than you realize
The deeper spiritual danger of trying to “burn it off” as a form of control
