Welcome back to another episode of The One Percent Podcast. In this episode, we sit down with Calum Johnson, host of The Calum Johnson Show. Most people know him for his incredible conversations with high-level guests. We got to know Calum Johnson before the 250,000 subscribers. Before the fame, and before the thousands of downloads on each episode. We talk honestly about what it means to bet on yourself before the results show up — why he quit a stable job, to remove the safety net, and choosing commitment over comfort. At the time he left his job, the podcast was only getting around 100 downloads. No momentum. No guarantees. No clear sign that it would work. This isn’t a highlight-reel conversation. It’s about the uncomfortable middle. creating when nobody is watching, believing before validation exists. The difference between interest and real commitment. Why most people quit right before momentum arrives. Letting go of outcomes and focusing on the process. What success actually costs in the long term. Welcome back to another episode of The One Percent Podcast. Today, we sat down with Zach Owings, a former major league professional baseball player for the Miami Marlins. Growing up, Zach's success was only measured by how well he performed in sports, and his self-worth was tied to his performance in sports. As a result, he struggled to understand his value to the world, his love for himself, and, more importantly, his self-worth. When Zach got drafted to the Miami Marlins, he labeled it as “the worst day of his life”. All the years of hard work and dedication leading to this moment, and it didn’t feel like everything he hoped for. He eventually came to the realization that baseball wasn’t his dream, but rather his family's. Everything changed when Zach one day came across Gary Vaynerchuk’s content, and his whole perspective on life was altered. He ended up quitting baseball and started to work for his idol and now mentor, Garyvee. In this episode, we cover self-worth and identity being tied to sports, not connecting with family and parents at a young age, how much Garyvee has meant to Zach and his life, the struggles of personal relationships & romantic relationships, and so much more!
Welcome back to another episode of The One Percent Podcast. In this episode, we sat down with the Director of Luxery Sales of Serhant, Alan Gabay. He opens up about the impact these two women have had on him, and the emotional stories that he remembers from when they were both still here. Also, he opens up on how money has hurt his relationships, and how it in fact doesn’t constitute to happiness. A wonderful episode with so much value but also seeing the chance of a real vulnerable and human conversation. As always thank you guys for tuning in and showing support!
