We have reached the final episode for this season of Revelations Through Conversations, "From College to Calling." In this last episode me and my best friend Sidney Ison talk about what her journey was like in preparation for Med School. Sidney has always dreamed of working in the medical field and with much prayer, dedication and hard work she got accepted into medical school in 2021 and is in the process of working to become a doctor. Overall throughout this series we have talked about the faithfulness of God and I am thankful for the opportunity to show you guys how he has been faithful to me and my friends.

Oh how I love my dear friend Lauryn! As we wrap up the last episode of From College to Calling, I was blessed to have a conversation with my friend Lauryn Sisk. However, this episode is a little different. Lauryn is actually still in college! I believe it is also encouraging to hear from someone in college to see their perspective on life as they navigate life and prepare to step into adulthood.I am very blessed to have Lauryn as a friend and excited for all to hear the wisdom that she was able to share on this episode.
Y'all I love Hannah, and we had the best time shooting this episode (twice lol). All throughout college Hannah was extremely studious and very focused on getting her money's worth out of her education (rightfully so). But after graduating God would take her on an adventure and reveal Himself to her in many different ways. In this episode we talk a little bit about the following question: How do you focus on your relationship with God after you've "fallen away"?
In this week's episode of "From College to Calling," my brother in Christ, and best friend Brian tells us what it was like to separate from a life that he became accustomed to in order to step into God's call on his life.He encourages us with the words of Jeremiah in Jeremiah 18: 1-4."This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 'Go down to the potter's house, and there I will give you my message.' So I went down to the potter's house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping It as it seemed best to him."
One of the many blessings I received in college was gaining God-fearing and Spirit filled friends. So in this episode I was honored to sit down with my best friend, Alex Huggins and talk about some of the many lessons she learned both in college and after graduating. Overall she reminded us that through it all, God is in control and life is much better in His hands than it is in our own.

After knowing Jalen for almost 3 years, this friendship has been a blessing in more ways than one. Now years later, Jalen Houston talks about some of the challenges that he faced after graduating college and the Importance of being rooted in Christ during transitions in our lives."So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." -Colossians 2:6-7
In this episode, I was able to have a great conversation with one of my long-term friends, Ryan Kaigler. 2020 was rollercoaster to say the least. Through it all, Ryan shared some wisdom and insight on what was going on in his life when the world shut down during the pandemic. After graduating, and as he stepped into adulthood, Ryan shares how he saw Proverbs 3:5-6 come to life."Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Welcome back!!! In this episode I got to chat with my A1 since day 1! From singing, to writing music, running a non-profit and so much more, Victoria had the opportunity to share a little bit about what her journey into adulthood was like. Throughout her story we learn a couple of biblical principles that we can all apply to our own lives. As we surrender our plans to the Lord, He will use all of the things we learn throughout our life to refine us, help us grow in Christ, and teach us how to live a life that glorifies Him.
Welcome to the very first episode of "From College to Calling!" My name is Jess, and during this season of Revelations Through Conversations, I decided to sit down and talk to some of my friends. Everyone of my friends and I have 2 things in common. We love the Lord, and figuring out adulthood after college was a struggle to say the least lol. So we simply got together and talked about some of the obstacles we faced and how we navigated this season of our lives with the help of the Lord. Therefore, in this first episode, I decided to share a little bit of my story. After graduating college, I had no idea what was next. Living with my parents, looking for jobs, a church family, and all while having so many dreams/passions- I felt stuck. But the biggest thing I learned during that period of my life all goes back to Matthew 6, "Seek first the Kingdom of God, and all of these things will be added unto you."
