No one prepares men to become fathers. There’s no manual on what to do or what to say as your kids come to you with questions that they need answers to. As a dad, you’ve got to assess the situation and make a choice you believe would be in their best interest & live with the consequences.
Being a dad to Mila and Matea has been such a blessing. They continue to push me, and challenge me to be the best version of myself every da. In today’s show, Owen and I dive deep in the lessons I’ve learned so far on being a dad.
On the episode we talk about:
How to discipline your children
Finding the right balance of pushing them and letting them find their own way
Kids and social media
My relationship with my mother
Lessons I took from my parent’s relationship growing up

Welcome back for a brand new episode, DC fam! In today’s podcast, we’re discussing how technology is influencing the real estate industry. There are so many platforms that are emerging to empower agents to be at the top of their game and applications that provide clients with a smooth selling & buying process.
In our episode, Owen and I focus on how video is becoming a key driving force for agents. Agents have to adopt a video strategy to provide their prospective clients with an inside look into their listings, and their knowledge of the market, and build relationships with their audience from a distance. Refusing to adopt video poses a risk to an agent's business in 2023 and beyond.
In the episode, we discuss:
Realtors have to adopt a video strategy to survive
Virtual Reality in real estate
Emerging platforms realtors have to use in 2023
Potential threats to real estate from the advancement of technology

DC fam! Exciting news today as we welcome my great friend, Mike Austin, to the show! Mike is the proud owner of Twenty Valley Media, a dynamic company specializing in video production and live streaming. Our friendship blossomed through our wives, and since then, we've remained steadfast in growing our relationship.
In this episode, Mike and I delve into his remarkable journey, tracing his shift from lighting and controls to the inception of his own company. Along the way, he faced the formidable challenge of sickness, and he candidly shared how that pivotal moment prompted a profound shift in his perspective on life.
Our conversation covers a range of topics, including:
Relocating from the US and establishing roots in Canada
The motivational nudge from Gary Vee that propelled him to start his own company
Triumphing over sickness
Striving to be the best version of oneself for the sake of family

DC fam, I could not wait to talk about this topic! Ever since I opened my eyes and challenged my way of thinking in the realm we live in, I started asking questions. When we were growing up as children, we were taught about space, how the earth is a globe, NASA, and everything in between.
When you look around you, everything is flat. The water has no curve, you rarely feel the dip in curvature or even the globe spinning as fast as they say it is. I also find it interesting when you socially oppose the round earth belief you get demonized for believing that. It’s crazy.
I want to share with you why I believe the Earth is flat, and why the heliocentric model has been indoctrinated in us when past civilizations documented the earth as flat.
On the episode, Owen and I talk about:
- How I started believing the earth was flat
- Scientific evidence proving the earth is flat
- God’s creation of earth
- How we’ve been indoctrinated as a society
- The pull away from God and religion
- Why do they want us to believe the Earth is round?

Adversities are a part of life. You are bound to go through them one way or another whether it’s your career, family, relationships, and friendships. It’s one thing to go through adversity but how do you handle it when it comes? One day your life is great then the next day could look totally different.
On today’s show, I share with Owen experiences I’ve faced where I had to dig deep to find the strength to overcome adversity. Overcoming anything takes courage, faith, and mental fortitude to see the brighter days ahead. I hope through this episode, you will leave with something to prepare yourself for unexpected challenges.
We talk about:
Leaving corporate to become a realtor
Avoid the pitfalls of participation awards
The beauty of the struggle
Handling the anxiety of what could go wrong
Finding opportunities for growth during COVID

Do you remember how easy it was to make friends when you were younger? You had kids you grew up with in the neighborhood you could befriend. In high school, you could get involved with sports or clubs, and in college, you had many people in one space with the thirst to make connections.
As you get older, making friends becomes more challenging. We get bogged down with raising our families, and growing our relationships with our spouses and forming new bonds becomes tougher. For men, we have our established friendships but how do we form new ones?
In this episode, we speak about:
Getting out of your comfort zone
Setting routines to maintain contact with those around you
My experience working in corporate
How men can develop friendships
Separating business and friendships

How her upbringing and journey led her to real estate
Creating content as a realtor
Doing real estate for the right reasons
Her experience working with me
Tools agents can use to growing their business

Welcome back DC fam! Boy you’re in for a treat today. I’ve been a big believer in how they’re outer forces working against us to advance as a society. When I got exposed to certain ideas, and the groups who control us; I denied it and didn’t want to acknowledge that certain ideas could be true.
After doing my own research, I came to the conclusion that there is evidence that makes it true. Owen and I do a deep dive into how we’re fed false information on the news, how they're secret societies that control all industries, and how the collective consciousness can’t see the truth hidden in plain sight.
We get into:
The lizard people
The dark truths of Hollywood
Fake narratives created to keep you in fear
The new world order that is upon us
How we’re about to be controlled in all facets of our lives

Welcome back DC Fam! Today, we’ve got a treat of an episode for you! I got my good friend Jason Pereira in the house. Jason is a partner and financial consultant at Woodgate Financial. He’s been in the financial industry for the past 20 years and has developed a unique investment approach for his clients.
Early in his career, he realized how investment systems and incentives are designed to benefit the banks. He understood early on that there has to be a way to truly help people find the best investment strategies instead of selling them products that don’t fit their needs.
In our chat, we talk about how financial planning has evolved over the years and the misconceptions when it comes to real estate and investing. Jason provides his unique insights into the market and the things you should be aware of before putting your money into something.
In our chat, we discuss:
How banks design their investment products to benefit them
The human aspect of working with people and helping them become successful in investing
Debunking real estate myths
The importance of due diligence when it comes to investing

We all have indulged with vices at one point or another in our lives. Inherently, we know these vices are bad but they offer a level of gratification that provides us with a temporary escape. If we know they are bad, why do we keep coming back?
In today’s conversation, Owen and I discuss how vices are collectively being normalized. We’re living in a time where we have so much access to nudity, drugs, alcohol, and gambling because of how technology has evolved. Vices that were deemed as taboo are now being commercialized.
In our chat we discuss:
How media is a vehicle for satanic symbolism
COVID’s effect on relationships
Technology’s evolution on providing us with access to anything we want
Cheap dopamine
The spiritual warfare currently going on through music & television

Welcome back for a new episode of the DC Talks podcast. As I get older, I’m taking my health & wellness into consideration in everything that I do. There has been so much that has happened over the last several years that has shifted my focus on what I put into my body, and how I maintain myself to be in peak condition.
In today’s episode, Owen and I have a vulnerable conversation about things young men should know about themselves as they get older. When you’re young, you feel invincible. You can eat like crap, drink, and neglect having a quality sleep. But these habits cost you down the line as you age. As you age, you’ve got to take care of your prostate and the changes in your testosterone levels.
In this episode, we discuss:
My Journey with prostate health
Intermittent fasting
The effects of alcohol on your body & energy
How porn is destructive to your mind
The importance of regular check ups with your doctor
Prioritizing sleep

Welcome back for a brand new episode, DC fam! This week’s episode is something near and dear to my heart.
Growing up, I grew up with a lack of self-confidence in myself because of the things that were said to me. Your family is everything. But at times, they can be people within your family that say things to you that have a massive impact on how you see yourself & how confident you are.
I’ve gone through tremendous growth over a long period of time and I'm healing those wounds from early on. On today’s show, I want to share how we should learn to develop healthy mechanisms for communication, building confidence in ourselves, and processing our emotions to be our best for not only ourselves but for others.
In this show, we talk about:
The power of affirmations
How your words are powerful
Allowing yourself to be vulnerable
Is showing emotion weak for a man?
How I still want reassurance

In this episode, we speak about
Land transfer tax when buying a house

Having buyer’s remorse

A crazy story of completing a sale for a client

You’re managing your own internal stress, and also managing your client’s emotions through the process of selling & buying a home. They’re rational fears you have and there are fears which are manufactured by yourself by your own personal belief. Fear can be crippling, and can paralyze you from taking action towards things that can transform your life. Welcome back DC fam! In today’s episode, we’re talking about cancel culture. It seems like every day, you see someone who said, did, or is accused of something and they are immediately “canceled” in the eyes of the public. Our ability to speak freely has been hindered by a potential backlash from people online or even our inner circles. Has it gone too far? Has this way of living become toxic where we can’t present our authentic selves each day?
In this episode, we talk about:
- Self-censoring yourself in conversation
- Balance social acceptance while still being authentic
- How to do the “right” thing
- Media smokes screens leveraged to distract us from bigger issues happening in the background
