Dave played at the very highest level, making his debut for his boyhood club Liverpool away at tottenham in a league cup quarter final, picking up the man of the match bottle of champagne, further appearances for liverpool came, before spells within the football league. Dave joined Inverness Caledonian Thistle and spent a number of succesful years with the scottish premier league outfit, etching his name in history by scoring the winner vs celtic in a scottish cup semi final. now Dave is purely in the dugout, assisting Mark Beesley at Warrington Town in the northern premier league.
