Mid lake report for july 2025
It’s a great time to be on Lake Ozarks and get some bass, but they are a little finicky right now.
The spawn is on and you can see the beds if its not too muddy. Water Temp 62 to 67Glaize muddyNiangua muddyLinn Creek to Proctor - stained. Best area in my opinion but!Toll Bridge to the Dam is clear and you can see them on beds.
It’s one of the best times of the year to be on Lake of the Ozarks catch Bass crappies catfish anything you want the bass are coming shallow and it’s getting fun. Water Temp 52-55 Degrees. Things are changing daily. Be on your toes.
The Toyota series Bass fishing was horrible. The lake was froze over but the fishing is getting better and the crappie are on fire. Get to Lake of the Ozarks now to catch some huge slab Crappie.

i am a horrible fisherman but I know whats up. Fish are in transistion. A Rigs, Jerkbaits, Square Bills, Wiggle Warts, Spinnerbaits, Creature Baits, Jigs, etc are all in play. The entire lake is kicking off and its time to catch a GIANT. ( time to play with big swimbaits )

Lake of the Ozarks update November 30, 2023 ; Fishing Industry Buzz ; Tackle Warehouse Invitational perspective. I update everyone on the crappie report. Its getting good! Big Bass can be caught. They are few and far between, but, if you want to catch a giant the time is now! Crankbaits are killing it right now, but we are in a winter transition. Is the topwater bite gone? Only one way to find out. Listen to the podcast, and get out there to fish. Current water temp at 48MM - 51 Degrees.
