Chicago PD has embarked on an incredible tech transformation that includes replacing thousands of conventional in-car computers with DeX which uses a smartphone paired with a dedicated keyboard and display to provide full in-car computing functionality. CPD is also issuing thousands of smartphones to department personnel.
