Two Deep is a podcast feed housing multiple shows focused on the Virginia Tech Hokies. Hokies Under the Influence is a football-centric show with a love for craft beer. Pete and Robbie previewed and recapped every VT football game since Frank Beamer's last season in 2015, and Sam Jessee joined the fold in 2024.
College Football Monday started in 2023 and is our National coverage show with a VT slant - it hits the feed every week during football season. An array of guests from around the CFB landscape join Pete to discuss all angles of what's happening in FBS and beyond. Finally, Memory Lane is a show focused on the Hokies most memorable games and players.

It's the offseason for football, but Pete and Sam still have a packed show midway through March. Unfortunately, some of the content is for the wrong reasons... after breaking down the ACC Tournament loss to Wake Forest, the guys discuss what went wrong this year, and what the future may hold for Mike Young and the basketball program.
Later in the show, Pete's former college buddy, Brian, hops in to talk about the best thing going in Blacksburg, Tony Robie's wrestling program. They won the ACC for the 2nd year in a row and there's plenty to be excited about as the team gets ready for NCAAs. Finally, Sam answers questions about our baseball program, and tells you exactly what they have to do to get to Omaha, even after a disappointing start to the season.

The roster for the Virginia Tech Hokies football continues to take shape, and the size of this team is starting to stand out. In this episode, Pete and Sam break down the latest roster updates and what they tell us about the direction of the program.
Sons of Saturday reporter, Ryan Castle, recently spent time inside the Hokies’ weight room and spoke with several assistants, giving us some behind-the-scenes insight into how the team is developing physically and what coaches are emphasizing this offseason.
The boys also discuss James Franklin's recent interview with Tech Sideline, which adds more context to some of the offseason changes.
Finally, Pete and Sam talk some hoops, more particularly, the men's tournament hopes and how they hinge on Saturday's game against UVA.

In this episode, Pete and Sam dive into Coach Franklin's 2026 recruiting efforts. There’s some nuances within the class rankings that the guys want to address before the page is turned to 2027. Is it fair to compare his first class to Brent Pry's 2022 class? The answer to that, and more in this one. Hokies Basketball talk towards the end.
Pete and Sam are back! Coach Franklin held the introductory press conference for his coaching staff on Wednesday, leaving a ton for the guys to break down in this episode. This was the first time we heard from Brent Pry since he was announced as the DC - plenty of intrigue about his return, and how he his embracing his new role. Finally, the men's basketball team is back on the bubble. With 8 league games left, the Hokies have to find a way to steal one or two on the road if they want to play meaningful basketball in March.
The 2026 VT football schedule is here! In year one of the James Franklin era, the ACC served up a stinker. The away slate is brutal, 6 true road games, and the league has Tech traveling all over the country. The back half of the dance card has the Hokies playing 4 of the top 6 teams in the league from 2025. Those four don't even include the Clemson game - a trip to Death Valley looms large in late October. There are some potential top-25 challenges, but most, if not all, are projected to come away from Lane Stadium. Tap in to hear the gang's first reaction to the 2026 slate.

In the 3rd quarter of the Natty stream, Pete and Sam welcomed Brian Seigla from the Boundary Corner podcast and Robert Irby from the Sports Business Journal. The guys discussed just about everything that's gone down the past couple months - even a little CFP format talk. The 4th quarter got a bit more loose with Coach Holmes, but it was a blast!
