It's a very special, festive edition of Celebrities On The Move, as Shai and Rekha gather to talk about the big man himself: Santa Claus! We all know that Kris Kringle performs magic on Christmas Eve by visiting virtually every country in the world to spread joy, deliver presents, and consume millions of calories from the treats left out by children and their families. But how does he (legally) make his way to the United States? Our hosts are joined by yet another of Vialto's expert US immigration attorneys, Ashley Poonia, as they run through the various possibilities and come to a very practical conclusion.
In this historic episode of Celebrities On The Move, Shai and Rekha are together for the very first time, recording from our Vialtitude client conference in Las Vegas. They're joined by Vialto US immigration attorney Adena Whitlow for a uniquely first-hand perspective on the immigration and citizenship journey of the Canadian-born, US-dual citizen star of Superbad, Pineapple Express, and, most recently, the acclaimed Apple TV series, The Studio. Adena doesn't just know US immigration - she knew Rogen before he became an Emmy-winning Hollywood celebrity. You don't want to miss this!
Vialto's Gary Chandler and Alan McAllin return to On The Move for part three of their Social Security Matters series. This time, they explore three very specific opportunities for companies and their employees to save big money on social security taxes as they move between countries. All while keeping the employee whole.
What happens when rock ‘n’ roll stars meet immigration policy? In this episode, Shai and Rekha return to dive into Noel and Liam Gallagher's triumphant and long-awaited return to the stage, leading the legendary rock group Oasis, in their ancestral homeland of Ireland. They're joined by return guest Aoife Kilmurray, as they explore the immigration and work authorization rules that even global superstars must navigate. You gotta roll with it as we break down borders, talk visas, work permits, and citizenship with a punch. As you were!   To learn more about Vialto's immigration capabilities, visit our website.
Prodded by Executive Orders of the Trump administration, American immigration officials ask ever more probing questions and request voluminous information. Consular officers question visa applicants; border officers inspect applicants for admission; USCIS officers interview companies and visa holders at FDNS site inspections; and federal immigration agencies require answers to ever-longer online and paper-based forms and issue requests for additional evidence. How companies and noncitizens respond during each encounter can lead to success or failure or, or worse yet, long-term adverse consequences.  This podcast, featuring Angelo Paparelli, Carly Ross and your host Shai Dayan—all members of Vialto’s US immigration team—offers insights, strategies, tips, and tactics on how to truthfully respond to achieve a passing grade.  To learn more about Vialto's immigration capabilities, visit our website

Social security contributions costs vary widely around the world, and in some places can easily exceed 50% of an employee's compensation. On The Move welcomes back Gary Chandler and Alan McAllin, direct from Vialto's offices in London, to tell us more.
