The Boyers are back for another jam packed, fun show. Starting off with some trade talk, the Lakers got there man, Rui Hachimura! (4:00 - 11:15) Henry and CJ then debut their All-Star picks. It is spooky SZN and before the Boyers can get all dressed up they need to unpack the first week of the season. They break down what will stick and what will not after 1 week, including Ja's hot start, the Bulls being back and James Harden making headlines (4:00 - 36:30). The NBA 75 list is out - who missed the cut and who should have BEEN cut? (38:00 - 50:15) CJ tries to redeem himself after a horrendous gambling weekend and he is guaranteeing at least 1 of his 3 picks to hit this week. In the inaugural episode of Boyers Not Ballers, Henry and CJ talk about why the Nets defense stinks, the Lakers rock, and the Hawks are just fine. The Boyers debate All-Star starters, issue an apology to Bradley Beal and stick up for Donovan Mitchell. In what will surely be a frequent moment, Henry does some nerdy stuff that upsets CJ, but CJ reminds himself to always have empathy, no matter what. The Boyers are back this offseason reviewing all things Free-Agency! Henry and CJ are here to discuss league-shaking moves such as Damian Lillard getting cut, Boston blowing up their roster and the Lakers standing put (2:05).
