A powerful couple of paragraphs or letting go of hatred and resentment, and what those are comprised of. It includes all ill-thoughts and ill-words the come from within us. Hear about the destructive power of hatred to our souls and how it blocks out all goodness and Love!
Letting go of covetousness was something I didn't know that I had to do! James Allen talks about how attachment to these possessions and material things causes us so much unhappiness! Learn to detach and be a custodian of the material to help facilitate God's will!
This part of this chapter has been one of the most powerful things I have ever read, and has a profound impact on my daily life! Freeing yourself from Self-Assertion and demanding that people accept and abide by your opinion is no way to live well! Listen and decide for yourself!
A reading about getting rid of our own selfish indulgences! We talk about how these actually distract us from the direction we need to be taking, and that escaping our reality, actually robs us of the ability to find truth! The more we know to more we can let go!
This is an incredible couple of paragraphs about the danger of allowing yourself to be dominated by impatience and irritability! We talk about how it never actually accomplishes anything, and then what we actually want to do to move forward. A great reading about how we push ourselves away from peace and serenity, and to have any chance of obtaining them we have to give up impatience!
