Joshua Mhlakela went public again after his second failed rapture prediction. It's real bad.
Today's Timestamps:
0:00 - IntroBonus Update: 0:24 {Breaking News!} Covering a “Rapture Cult Update” from the recent false prophets.1. 12:53 {Is Christianity a Cult?} In light of Mhlakela's serious error, how can Christians be assured that we aren't also blind members of a cult? Scholars are quick to explain t:hat "near" means quickly, unexpectedly, or suddenly. Then why don't they translate "tychikos" (soon) as such? 2 Peter 3:8-9 is also frequently used as an excuse.2. 18:11 {Is Repeated Repentance a Deception?} I have heard you say we should keep repenting. But, if we are continually repenting for the same sin or sins, has it lost its value? Is our repentance real or are we deceiving ourselves?3. 23:54 {Politics in The Pulpit?} To what extent is it appropriate or necessary for pastors to address current events & politics from the pulpit? How should church members respond if these topics aren’t addressed thoroughly or at all?4. 37:22 {Mark of the Beast: Always Wrong?} If a man takes the Mark of the Beast to provide for his family, how will God judge him?5. 43:40 {The Church’s Voice = God’s Voice?} My dad said, “The church asked me to be a deacon, so it must be God.” Is it wise to treat the church’s voice as God’s voice?6. 48:38 {About Clear Truth Media} I think you’ve written for Clear Truth Media and they are platforming Mark Driscoll. With your stance on unqualified pastors, how do you respond?7. 55:44 {Dietary Laws: Fulfilled?} How did Jesus fulfill the dietary laws? I’m considering Jesus grafting in Gentiles into the faith to be the fulfillment of that (Matthew 5:17, Acts 10:9-15). 8. 1:01:22 {Overcoming Anxiety: Death & Illnesses} My wife often deals with anxiety. She is a firm believer, but struggles with the fear of death/illnesses. Not for her own sake, but because of the people she would leave behind. 9. 1:09:17 {Gentle Guidance for a Friend in Error} How can I share the Gospel with a friend who lost his mom and believes she’s watching over him? I know it’s necromancy, but he’s hurting and I fear sounding harsh.10. 1:11:51 {500 Witnesses: Verifiable?} I’ve got a question regarding the reliability of the 500 Witnesses source. Atheists say that we have no way to verify that the number Paul gives is accurate. How would you answer this?

TODAY I want questions that represent skeptics, new believers, and doubters in general. I welcome the hard questions and will try to answer them well. The first question is to simply examine an X post from Zachary Levi where he says a bunch of stuff about the Bible that I thought would be of interest to skeptics, doubters, and new believers, as well. I'm not roasting the man, just walking through his thoughtful post and providing some insights.
0:00 - Intro1. 1:38 {Responding to Zachary Levi} A respectful analysis of Zachary Levi’s beliefs on the Bible.2. 32:56 {The Witness of the Spirit} If I know I believe the Gospel is true but I don’t feel any “witness of the Spirit,” what does that mean? I’m trying to trust with my whole heart.3. 40:13 {Has God Abandoned the World?} My dad is an unbeliever but acknowledges God’s existence through creation. He believes that God created the world and then abandoned it. How can I help show him that God is still with us to this day?4. 43:30 {Should I Worship a God I Don’t Like?} A common objection I hear is, "Why should I worship a God I don't like?"5. 45:58 {Is My Sin Even My Fault?} Why am I accountable to God for my sins when I was born with a sin nature? Shouldn't a loving God provide the basic remedy for creation when they had no choice in being created and no choice regarding their nature?6. 53:57 {Was YHWH Beaten in Battle?} How can I defend 2 Kings 3 when skeptics use it as an example of Yahweh being beaten in battle by another entity in driving the Israelites out, despite them being prophesied to win?7. 1:05:46 {Learning to Evangelize Better} I converted just over a year ago and had some success evangelizing to my community (libertarians). I've read the New Testament and I’m working on reading it twice now. What can I do to evangelize better, especially to libertarians?8. 1:07:20 {How Can God Have a God?} I heard this question in my group: God is considered the Most High; thus Jesus (who is God) is the Most High. Therefore, why does Jesus claim that He has a God above Him in Revelation 3:12?9. 1:12:26 {Does Doubt = Incomplete Faith?} I’m a new believer who used to be a Jehovah’s Witness. I gave my life to Christ a few years ago, but sometimes I wrestle with doubt. Does that make my faith incomplete?10. 1:18:40 {Acceptance Only of a “Higher Power”} My daughter (13) believes that there may be a higher power, but doesn’t believe in Jesus. I’m trying to figure out how to reach her in an effective manner. What advice can you offer?11. 1:21:59 {The Sadness of Animal Suffering} Why is there such a great amount of suffering that animals need to go through? Wouldn’t a good God create it to where the animals didn’t have to suffer and still feed us?12. 1:34:19 {Answered Prayer or Coincidence?} How can I tell if God actually answered my prayers or if the outcome was just a coincidence? Many Christians say God has spoken to or guided them without evidence. How can such claims be tested objectively?13. 1:37:23 {Does God Send Us to Hell?} How can I convince my brother that God does not condemn us to Hell and that it’s our own free will that puts us there? He has stopped talking to us due to that belief he has.14. 1:41:33 {Explaining the Trinity to Muslims} I have a Muslim friend who is struggling to understand the Trinity and asked, “how can God be 3 things all at once, and how can He be crucified?” Can you explain it in a way that a Muslim will understand?16. 1:45:51 {Street Healings: Are They Real?} Are street healings real? Christians pray for strangers who report relief from pain and various illnesses. But atheist Derren Brown has produced similar results. Are these miracles or psychological effects?17. 1:51:07 {Is Mental Illness a Fallacy?} I'm in a faith crisis. I shared my mental health struggle with my discipler, and at the next study, they called mental illness a fallacy. I walked awa...

Today's Time Stamps:
0:00 - Intro1. 0:01 {Failed Rapture Predictions} Learning the lesson: An autopsy of recent rapture predictions.2. 1:16:42 {The Mortality of Adam & Eve} Is Adam and Eve's mortality a result of the poison in the forbidden fruit or the declaration of God in Genesis 2:17? 3. 1:19:57 {Ezekiel 37: 2 Separate Events?} In Ezekiel 37, Ezekiel is told to prophesy to dry bones, and they come together, but he had to prophesy again for them to come to life. Do you think this is referring to two separate events?4. 1:23:05 {Honoring Tradition & Embracing Change} How can pastors balance honoring tradition with leading forward when influential members of the congregation resist technology, new ideas, and change?5. 1:25:14 {The Value of Fallible Gifts} If all the gifts of the Spirit are subject to human fallibility, what is their true value for the Church? Why would God tell us to eagerly desire them if they can so easily be misused or misunderstood? 6. 1:27:33 {Repentance after Spiritual Drought} Do you have any advice for someone who was raised Christian, who professed faith and went to church but still lived a worldly and immoral lifestyle, then has recently come to Christ in repentance?7. 1:29:17 {A “Word” from the Lord?} I go to a Calvary Chapel and there are a lot of “words” given to people. They’re not unbiblical but seem sort of vague, like I’m not able to test them. Should I only accept it if I can test it?8. 1:32:46 {Gathering while Disabled?} In light of the Scripture that states not to forsake the gathering together, I am concerned about that because I am disabled, do not drive, and do not have consistent transportation to church. Advice?9. 1:34:45 {Enoch & Elisha – In Heaven?} Enoch and Elisha are said to be in Heaven in the Old Testament. Why did Jesus say in John 3:13 that no one has gone to Heaven except Him?10. 1:36:14 {Let’s Grow in Christ!} Can you please share a few suggestions, just for fun and faith-building, for us to do this weekend to grow in Christ (besides going to church)?

It has taken months to gather this evidence and the testimonies of many people to expose Steve Koko. He calls himself "the Billy Graham of Panama," and he has done many outreach events and is well known in Latin American countries. But, there is a very dark side to him that must be exposed. We cannot allow someone to do what Steve Koko has done to multiple young women, who thought he was a man of God. Not only that, we need to expose the people behind the scenes who have worked to cover up for Steve Koko.

Why is there a Rapture craze going on right now? I think it traces back to this mystery man, "Brother Joshua." He appeared out of nowhere about 3 months ago and said God took him to Heaven multiple times and Jesus told him the date of the Rapture.
Today's Time Stamps:
0:00 - Intro1. 0:59 {Rapture Craze?} Can you address “Brother Joshua” and the current rapture craze?2. 36:29 {PSA + Crucified WITH Christ?} How does the doctrine of Penal Substitutionary Atonement harmonize with us being “crucified with Christ” (Galatians 2:20, Romans 6:5-6)? The substitution element seems to be missing, and wrath seems confusing if we are to affirm crucifixion with Christ.3. 40:57 {Pre-Wired to Sin?} Why are Adam and Eve guilty when the brains God gave them are what guided them to make their decision to sin? They processed the situation based on the way God had pre-wired them.4. 44:15 {Eschatology in The Psalms?} Is it valid to interpret Psalms 42-49 as talking about the End Times (Tribulation in 42-44, Lamb’s wedding in 45, God’s reign/judgment and New Jerusalem with a river in 46-49)?5. 50:00 {Obedience Leading to Hardship?} My walk with Christ feels harder the more I obey. I lost family, friends, and even my girlfriend. Sometimes I wonder if this is even worth it, yet I still long to stay faithful. Any advice?6. 55:42 {Baptismal Regeneration: False Gospel?} Would you consider the teaching that baptism is necessary for salvation to be a "different gospel” (Galatians 1:6)? If not, how would you distinguish it from the Circumcision Party's false teachings?7. 1:00:31 {Malachi 4: About Jesus?} Is Malachi 4:2 talking about Jesus? Some translations like NKJV vs. NASB seem to reference it differently.8. 1:05:30 {Loving God Above Family} My husband is an unbeliever. He recently told me he can't be a believer because he idolizes me and our kids and couldn't love God more than us. Beyond praying, how can I address this biblically?9. 1:09:14 {Church Membership but Rarely Attending?} I’m a youth pastor at my church, and several families at my church consider themselves members but are only present a few times per year due to weekend activities. Should we address this strongly?10. 1:14:43 {Trusting God More in Prayer} I fully believe God never fails and His decisions are always right and good. But it's still hard not to feel like He's "let me down" when I pray SO hard for something and it doesn't happen. It feels like He's absent and it (ashamedly) makes me question the parts in Scripture where He invites us to ask and SAYS He'll act.Bonus! 1:21:38 {Mike’s Favorite Christian Music} What are some of your favorite or best recommended Christian music artists and albums?

Today's Time Stamps:
1. 2:15 {Rapture Predictions} Are rapture predictions always bad?2. 35:26 {Teaching Kids Theology} What are some easy ways to explain hard theological concepts to my son as he grows up? He’s only 9 months old right now, but I want to be ready.3. 38:22 {Jesus’ Stripes vs. The Cross?} My former church claimed that Jesus' stripes specifically paid for our sickness, while the cross paid for the rest, using Isaiah 53:5 to support it. Is this biblical?4. 41:14 {Paul & The Cretans} What point was Paul making in Titus 1:12 when he quoted a "prophet" who said “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, and lazy gluttons”?5. 46:59 {Prenups Always Bad?} Is a prenuptial agreement ever biblical? My fiance’s parents want us to get one. In my opinion, prenuptial agreements undermine the permanence of marriage, its covenantal nature, trust, and unity.6. 53:47 {Supporting Israel?} How do we know whether supporting what Israel is doing in Gaza is or isn't God's will?7. 1:05:48 {The Moses Model: Biblical?} Given your Calvary Chapel background and current focus on church leadership structures vulnerable to abuse, how does the Moses Model ensure checks and balances on authority in the church?8. 1:14:57 {Does History Really Repeat Itself?} With the death of Charlie Kirk, it feels like we are in times similar to the 60s. Is it biblical to think that history repeats itself, or is mankind just predictable?9. 1:17:30 {What’s a Backslidden Christian?} What's a backslidden Christian? Is this the same as a Christian with thorny soil (Matthew 13, Mark 4, Luke 8)? And are they a slave to sin if they do sin? I'm afraid I'm this Christian.10. 1:28:16 {Anxiety: Am I Doing Something Wrong?} I am a Christian and struggle with anxiety. It especially happens when I try to speak or when God is using me for something even around believers. It cripples me. Am I doing something wrong?

10 years ago the Supreme Court decided they could redefine marriage, to include same-sex couplings. What they did was legally wrong, morally wrong, and irrational.
Today it seems the tide is shifting. Good. But we need to know what was wrong with their actions and not just jump on the bandwagon of "that's not popular now."
My website: https://BibleThinker.org
Today's Time Stamps:
1. 0:02 {Flat Earth Use of Scripture} Do I still say that Flat Earthers misuse Scripture?2. 22:11 {Why Some Reject & Some Accept Faith} Could you help me answer the Calvinist who asks what the difference is between a person who has faith and a person who rejects faith? If we are all equally sinful, why do some choose Christ?3. 31:15 {Why My Prayer Isn’t Answered} How can I tell why a prayer hasn’t been answered? How do I know if I just have to wait longer, or if some sin is hindering my prayer, or if the answer is simply “no”?4. 40:50 {The Bible: Chronological Order?} Is it helpful to read the Bible in chronological order?5. 44:31 {The “Who” of Romans 7} Who is Paul talking about in Romans 7? Himself, some hypothetical believer, or someone else entirely?6. 51:29 {Single but Living As Married} My fiancée moved in, is sleeping with me, using my credit card, is on my home title and health insurance, and we’re filing taxes jointly. But our wedding ceremony is not until 2027. I want to break up with her. Is that OK since we’ve made no vow yet before God?7. 55:08 {Sin Before The Law} In Romans 5:13, what does it mean that sin was not counted against those before Moses gave the law? Did all those people receive eternal salvation?8. 1:01:54 {Are You Reformed?} I think you've said that you consider yourself Reformed, and I wondered what you mean by that. What Reformed doctrines do you accept besides the ones that constitute basic orthodoxy?9. 1:04:26 {Does Porn Disqualify from Ministry?} What are your thoughts on pastors struggling with porn/lust? Is it disqualifying? I stepped out of ministry to heal. Many ministers my age (23) struggle. Please pray. I’ve seen progress, but I still fight.10. 1:10:05 {Evangelism amid Difficult Family Dynamics} What’s the appropriate way to navigate being an uncle and sharing the truth with nieces/nephews when your sibling doesn’t have a biblical worldview?1:18:41 Bonus – Prayer Request: Can you please pray for my mom? She’s been diagnosed with breast cancer. Her prognosis looks good, but we are praying for God's miraculous and complete healing.

Question Time Stamps for Quick Reference:
1. 0:10 {Child Preachers: Biblical?} Are “child preachers” biblical?2. 15:29 {Expository Teaching: Biblical?} I asked a pastor at my former church why they chose to teach in a topical style rather than expository. He said we do not see examples of expository teaching in the Bible. Is this true, and a good reason?3. 26:50 {Baptism for the Dead?} Does 1 Corinthians 15:29 give validity to the Mormon practice of getting baptized for the dead?4. 34:14 {Struggling with Sexual Temptations} I struggle with same-sex attraction, unfortunately. How can I be sure that I’m not reprobate/unregenerate? The idea of evanescent grace scares me.5. 42:44 {Apostles vs. Disciples?} Does it matter whether I refer to Jesus' followers as the 12 Apostles or the 12 Disciples?6. 43:23 {Sheep, Goats & The Rapture} Have you considered the sheep and goat judgment of Matthew 25 in light of the timing of the Rapture? The Rapture HAS to be before the tribulation in order for the Earth to be repopulated.7. 47:24 {Having the Gift of Prophecy} How does a Christian know if they have the gift of prophecy?8. 49:35 {Does God Choose to Love Us?} Does God choose to love us? If He Himself is love and He can't help but love us, why should we feel honored by it? Doesn't that take away the meaningfulness of it?9. 52:28 {The Fear of Failing} I’m afraid I’ll sin or lead myself away from God if I make the wrong decisions about personal convictions, theology, and even daily choices. How should I deal with the fear of being wrong?10. 55:38 {Divination Worked: Am I Unsaved?} A man who practices divination visited and gave info about me that was about 60% correct. Does this mean I’m not saved if his spells seemed to work on me?

What is some of the best advice we should give these couples?6. 41:37 {Paul’s Gospel?} In Philemon 1:19, why did Philemon owe himself to Paul? And why does Paul call it "his" gospel (please also see Romans 2:16 , 16:25, 2 Timothy 2:8)? 7. 49:32 {Worship Lyrics: Thinking Biblically} I have a question about a worship song. Do you think it is appropriate to sing “Let Your holy fire consume us”?8. 51:55 {Are Annulments Biblical?} What are your thoughts on annulments? Are they biblical and are they ever wise? Or are people just trying to justify their divorce?9. 57:53 {Hats: Disrespectful or Stylish?} My mother-in-law is "old-fashioned." What's your opinion about wearing hats in church? How about pastors preaching in them?10. 1:01:42 {Why We’re Never Satisfied} How do I deal with not being satisfied in life? I feel guilty because God should satisfy me and be all that I need, but I don't feel satisfied or content.11. 1:06:19 BONUS: Can you PLEASE give a shout-out to my husband, Michael (non-believer) who started listening to you because I wouldn't stop talking about it! Sorry for the abrupt ending to this video. I was genuinely just saddened by this garbage. I've had some time to think it over and I am going to put this video on more than just X. It seems like a good example of Cover-up Culture and I am hoping that Cindy or Mike Jacobs, or Bob or Erica Hazlett may actually consider these things and realize they have been part of the problem. It would be awesome to see them admit it and make changes!
Friends, the problem of Cover-up Culture in charismatic churches is even worse than I thought a month ago. Here's a simple example of how leaders give an imbalanced response to accountability and further promote Cover-up Culture in the name of seeking the well-being of others. It's so incredibly harmful!
You can watch the full, original video from Cindy Jacobs right here.

They are trying to put Mike Bickle back in ministry and using false prophecy to do it! This is bad.
I know my words here are harsh. They need to be. If we respond too gently to this stuff, people will be lulled to sleep.
I hate making these videos but believe they are needful.

Delight in God's Word.
This reading is from the NET Bible. Unlike most translations, the NET allows for people to use it as much as they want without worrying about getting special permissions for quoting long sections. This is why I'm using it here. The copyright warnings of most modern translations forbid me from making this kind of video without approval from the publisher.

Question Time Stamps for Quick Reference:1. 0:58 {Pastors Using AI?} For pastors preparing sermons: What is the proper use of AI (artificial intelligence)? What are some rules of wisdom we can apply when using AI as a helpful tool?2. 27:23 {“Soul” in the OT/NT} How do we reconcile the Old Testament use of "soul" to mean a whole person with statements by Jesus implying that a soul is a separate entity? He seems to be contradicting what the Old Testament teaches.3. 31:24 {Why is Open Theism Unbiblical?} I know in the past you have been against Open Theism. Why is the idea of a non-completely settled future unbiblical? I lean toward Open Theism due to God’s freedom.4. 33:53 {Praying for Personal Blessings: Selfish?} Can you share your insight on how to get over the feeling that it’s somehow wrong to pray for personal blessings? Objectively, I know it’s not, but the feeling often creeps in, as if it’s selfish.5. 37:47 {“Lord” in the OT vs. NT} Is the title of Lord used in the same capacity in the New Testament as it is in the Old Testament (for example, in John 13:13)?6. 42:26 {Confessing to Others} You've recently been calling leaders out publicly. Do all Christians need to publicly confess our sins, or only leaders? Is confessing to God and repenting enough, or should we tell each other?7. 51:36 {The Importance of Jesus’ Lineage} Why was it so important for Jesus to be born from Seth vs. Cain, Isaac vs. Ishmael, etc., since He came to save all mankind?8. 53:49 {Should Shame Linger?} As a kid, even after apologizing, I felt my parents' shame/disappointment/anger in the room until a period of time would pass. I know my sin harms my intimacy w/God even though Romans 8:1 is true, so I can't get over the "awkward in the room" feeling when I try to pray or draw near to God after sinning. Should shame linger for a period of time?9. 57:09 {Church Leadership: Unbiblical Demands?} A church I know has an Intellectual Property document that staff signs and it says they can't pursue personal creative projects without the leadership’s permission. Is this biblical?10. 1:02:04 {How to Draw Near to God} How can someone draw closer to God?

I'm taking questions from the live chat... here are the rules:
I do this live stream most Fridays at 1 p.m. Pacific Time. You're welcome to join.To ask a question, you'll need to follow these instructions:1. Don't post your question before you see me live on camera.2. Post questions as comments in the LIVE chat at the beginning of the stream.3. Post your question with "Q" at the beginning so we can easily identify that you are sending it in as a question for me and not just a comment in the chat.4. Try to be as clear as possible so I won't misunderstand the question. Keep in mind that I don't know anything about your question other than what you type in that short comment.5. Include specific verse references when possible or applicable.6. Only one question submitted per subscriber, per stream, please. Submitting the same question into the chat a few times is OK.7. Please understand that we don't strictly take the first 10 questions submitted. Our team takes several factors into consideration.8. 14:40 Good job on including the Orthodox Church, as people rightly name the Catholic Church, but not the OC, when they ultimately commit the same error.
You are absolutely correct. It is evil, satanic, ruthless, reckless, dangerous, absurd, outrageous, damnable, pathological, and unacceptable. We must be harsh when calling these evil perpetrators out that wear sheep's clothing as cover in order to wander about and devour the vulnerable and innocent. Hearing the "Amens" from women in the background is completely and utterly nauseating. They should be ashamed of themselves. They are dead spiritually.
I was floored when she said it doesn't matter if it's true or not. 😮
Great warning in that first question, and just as apt for those who get their information from books too.

I would like to ask Micah this: If one person told me they had a vision where God said he likes donuts, and another person told me they had a vision where God said he dislikes donuts, how can I know which, if either of these are true?
54:00 As a saint I don't understand the fear of death. At least I don't have it, and didn't have it when I was an unbeliever either.
My method when JW's offer me literature is to ask them "If a share literature with you, will you read it?" If they say no I say "I'm going to follow your example" and then turn down their literature.
1:18:45 Question #2 😄
26:25 X is not the freest of the social media sites. Gab.com offers more freedom.
So excited for this! Love the way you teach Mike!
44:30 What a sad reality, but nice observation.
19:00 Did Jesus teach "verse by verse"? 🤔
53:00 Yes. Rely on God before looking to man.
So I guess if Bible Thinker has a surplus in giving, Benny Hinn ministries shouldn't expect a donation from it 😏
I have never listened to Andrew Tate prior to today, and after listening I can see I haven't been missing anything. Time to pray that Andrew repents and comes to Christ.
Great question at 1:15 ish 👍
1:10:00 Now I know why Mike is so solid on his understanding of scripture, he didn't go to seminary. 😄
Great episode, but not exhaustive enough 😁
8:50 When Mike said "I know gravity exists" some flat earthers got triggered.
