The longer I live, the more I become aware of the brevity of life. While this could make one pessimistic, for many Christians it emphasises a message of hope for the future eternal life. Here at 3ABN we are in the business of sharing the good news of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. With that thought in mind, I refer to something that the writer of Hebrews said. “through His death, Jesus destroyed the devil who had the power of death.” Today’s study will talk about living for Jesus Christ. Being thankful has a powerful effect on our bodies. Studies reveal gratefulness reduces stress and burnout, while enhancing happiness and emotional well-being. But it gets better. The studies also reveal women with high gratitude live about 9% longer on average, thus tying a link between a grateful mindset and an extended lifespan in older adults.
