Lin Yin is an actress born and raised in Melbourne whose work in film, television, and theatre has taken her across the globe—from the US and Australia to Asia and the Middle East. Since touring Australia in the principal cast of Sydney Theatre Company’s critically acclaimed White Pearl, Lin can be seen in hit Australian TV & web series Flunk, Utopia Season 5, The Portable Door alongside Christoph Waltz and Miranda Otto, and in award-winning Singaporean drama Shero. Lin recently wrapped on feature film Talking to Strangers where she starred opposite RJ Mitte from Breaking Bad as well as City of Life Continuum in Dubai, an international feature anticipated to have its London premiere later this year. Shamita Siva is an actor, dancer and filmmaker based in Melbourne, Australia. Shamita recently starred as the straight laced, ex-marine Sarika Ray in the US TV series 'Good Cop/Bad Cop'. Sara Khan is a screen writer and proud Wailwan, Gomeroi, Pakistani woman with a strong background in story telling within a range of industries. Sara is currently developing her debut original series for television, supported by Screen Australia. For television, Sara wrote her first one hour of drama for PAPER DOLLS with Paramount+ (season 1, episode 6). Sara has also written an hour of drama for HEARTBREAK HIGH (season 2, episode 5), a half hour comedy episode for GOLD DIGGERS with the ABC, and a half hour drama episode for the highly acclaimed anthology series EROTIC STORIES with SBS (season 1, episode 7). Her EROTIC STORIES episode POWERFUL OWL, was selected for a worldwide premiere at SXSW Sydney . Alongside writing for television, Sara has previously worked across radio, museums, and education, focussing on platforming First Nations and people of colour’s voices. As a Programs Officer at the Australian Museum, Sara ran tours that centred around dismantling false narratives of First Nations People. Sara hosted and produced The Brekky Show on Koori Radio from 2019-2021. This extended into FBi radio where she co-hosted the award-winning program Race Matters from 2018-2022. Tim Ross is an Australian actor whose career spans almost 20 years. Tim was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia. Shortly after graduating from high school, Tim accepted a coveted position at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), relocating to Melbourne and becoming a recipient of the school’s prestigious scholarship for demonstration of outstanding commitment to the course and graduating in 2007. During his time as a Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre ensemble member, Tim made his main stage debut for the Melbourne Theatre Company playing Laertes in Simon Phillip’s production of Hamlet, followed by the world premiere of Return to Earth. Tim then ventured into the world of screen with television credits including: Wonderland, Harrow, Underbelly, Informer 3838, Rush, Home and Away, Neighbours, The Code, Mrs Biggs, Rock Island Mysteries, and Dive Club. Tim also played the leading roles in romantic comedies Hearts Down Under (Netflix/Hallmark Channel) and Romance At The Vineyard (Great American Family). Other feature film credits include: The Reef: Stalked, Bloody Hell, and most recently Ron Howard’s Eden, opposite Jude Law and Ana De Armas. Cut Short (2024) marks Tim’s directorial debut. He also continues to work as a mentor to emerging artists using his understanding of the industry in his work as a photographer and coach. Esmé Louise James is a writer and researcher based in Melbourne, Australia. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne in the School of Culture and Communication. In 2020, Esmé was listed in the Top 30 Emerging Writers by SBS Australia. Esmé’s creative works have twice been nominated for a Fitzpatrick Award and she was a finalist for the Melbourne Arts Student’s Society’s ‘Creative Writing’ award for four consecutive years. The Awakening was shortlisted for Amazon’s Breakthrough Novel of the Year in 2013. Esmé is best known for her irreverent lecture series on TikTok, Kinky History, which explores the evolution of human sexual history -- "the history they didn't teach you in high school." It currently stands at a following of over 2,200,000 people. In 2021, she was the recipient of Screen Australia's Every Voice initiative (in partnership with TikTok Australia and the Australian Government) to fund the creation of a new series on her channel. Lauren’s film story started with a specialist study in film at California State University Long Beach. She backed that up with a Bachelor of Film and Television from Swinburne University and a MBA from the Australian Institute of Business. Her work in the industry has been varied and rewarding, working with FilmInk Movie Magazine, Event Cinemas on George Street and, as an accomplished Service Producer, Lauren has produced high-level international content for companies all over the world. Today she’s the CEO and co-founder of Iris Arc Pictures – where she produces and develops several high-concept feature films, series and podcasts across the fantasy, thriller and horror genres. Most recently she has worked on the feature film 'Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism' with its US release at The Overlook Film Festival in April 2023 and the award winning web series 'Pivot'. Tristan Barr was the first writer/director down under to shoot a full-length feature film in one single take, across the span of 9 different locations and a running time of 82 minutes, ‘Watch the Sunset’, which won Cinema Australia's "Top five films of the year" and was acquired as a STAN Original after a successful cinema season. Recently, Tristan was the lead producer of the neo-western thriller feature 'Head Count' starring Ryan Kwanten (True Blood, Kindred), Aaron Jakubenko (Tidelands, The Shanarra Chronicles), Melanie Zanetti (Bluey, Raven's Hollow) being distributed by Shout Factory (Old Henry) & Umbrella Entertainment (The Babadook). In 2021 Tristan also produced the short films 'Reklaw' and 'Suspense' that played at SXSW & Fantasia Film festivals, and Won "Hollyshorts" thriller section, as well as directing feature film 'Subject' that was selected for Cannes Frontiers. His other work has received consistent praise, including an accolade for ‘Best Director’ at the Canada International Film Festival.
