Truly I’ll wait upon God Psalms 62:1-12 62 Truly (surely) my soul (I myself) waiteth (waiteth, in silence) upon God: from (for) him cometh my salvation (aid, victory, safety from evil). 2 He only (truly) is my rock and my salvation (safety from evils); he is my defence (high tower); I shall not be greatly moved. 3 How long will ye imagine (rise against) mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence. 4 They only consult (advise) to cast him down from his excellency (high/royal rank implied): they delight […]
You’re a son of God Galatians 4:1-7 4 Now I say, That the heir, as long as (for such time as) he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord (owner) of all; 2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. 3 Even so (So also) we, when we were children, were in bondage (enslaved) under the elements (elementary rules) of the world (kosmos: the arrangement): 4 But when the fulness (of which it is full) of the time was come (came), God sent forth his Son, made (to come into existence) of a […]
Be thankful for your position – Matthew 5:43-45, Romans 5:1, Galatians 5:1 Matthew 5:43-45 43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray (pray to God) for (on behalf of) them which despitefully (threaten on insult) use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth […]
Perfect love casts out fear 1 John 4:7-21 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we […]
Asking God, in the name of Jesus Christ – John 16:22, Ephesians 3:20, 1 John 5:14-15 John 16:22 22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. 23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. 24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive (lambano – receive what is given), that your joy may be full. Ephesians 3:20 20 Now […]
Ecclesiastes 5:1-10 5 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. 2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. 3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice is known by multitude of words. 4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for […]
Go to God – Matthew 11:27-30, Psalms 37:4-7 Matthew 11:27-30 27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth (fully knoweth) the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth (fully knoweth) any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal (intendeth to reveal) him. 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, […]

Romans 10:9-10 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Set your course of life in the heavenlies Colossians 3:1-10 (Lamsa translation) 1 IF you then are risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth, 3 For you are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory. 5 Mortify therefore your earthly members: immorality, uncleanness, intemperate desires, evil lusts, and covetousness, for these are idolatry; 6 And it is because of these things […]
Look towards the heavens Mark 10:23-31 23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who […]
God always makes a way 1 Corinthians 6:12-13 12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient (profitable, advantageous): all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought (to have authority) under the power of any. 13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. 1 Corinthians 10:13 13 There hath no temptation (temptation hath not) taken you but (except) such as is common to man: but God is faithful, […]
Everything is according to God’s will Matthew 20:1-16, Matthew 21:21-22 20 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. 2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. 5 Again he went out about […]
Lean on God – Matthew 6:1-7, Matthew 19:23-26 Matthew 6:1-7 6 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4 That thine alms may be in secret: […]

God chose you, therefore be thankful Ephesians 1:1-5 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at (resting within) Ephesus, and to the faithful in (resting within) Christ Jesus: 2 Grace be to you, and peace, from (origin or source) God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all (every) spiritual blessings in (resting within) heavenly (the heavenlies) places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in (resting within) him before the foundation of the […]
You’ve been given God’s thoughts towards our reconnection 2 Corinthians 5:14-21 14 For the love of (the messiah) Christ constraineth (to hold, to keep together, to secure) us; because we thus judge (judging this), that if one died for all, then were all dead (died): 15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth (no longer) live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 16 Wherefore henceforth (from now) know we no man (one) after the flesh (according to the old nature): yea, though (even if) we have known Christ after the flesh […]

I love that you teach to pray to God, not Jesus. This is so fundamentally important, and yet so many churches today lead their congregation in prayer to Jesus, or to the Lord, instead of to God the creator. Thank you for getting it right. It was the first episode I listened to, and it instilled a lot of trust in the rest of what you have to say. I'll be listening daily, and I'm sharing with my adult children, too.
