You get to choose – Ephesians 4:20-24 Ephesians 4:20-24 20 But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught (were instructed) by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 That ye put off (put away) concerning (with the ultimate purpose) the former (before) conversation (manner of life) the old man (Adam nature), which is corrupt (being corrupted) according to the deceitful lusts (sinful desires); 23 And be renewed (implies that the whole course of life now flows in a different direction) in the spirit (your spirit, desires, action) of your mind (reflective […]

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. You’re a son of God Galatians 4:1-7 4 Now I say, That the heir, as long as (for such time as) he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord (owner) of all; 2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. 3 Even so (So also) we, when we were children, were in bondage (enslaved) under the elements (elementary rules) of the world (kosmos: the arrangement): 4 But when the fulness (of which it is full) of the time was come (came), God sent forth his Son, made (to come into existence) of a […]

Ecclesiastes 5:1-10 5 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. 2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. 3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice is known by multitude of words. 4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for […]

I love that you teach to pray to God, not Jesus. This is so fundamentally important, and yet so many churches today lead their congregation in prayer to Jesus, or to the Lord, instead of to God the creator. Thank you for getting it right. It was the first episode I listened to, and it instilled a lot of trust in the rest of what you have to say. I'll be listening daily, and I'm sharing with my adult children, too.
