What happens when you finally stop hiding your voice and share the story you've been afraid to tell?Three-time Emmy Award-winning journalist and CEO of Pierre Principle Communications, Monica Pierre, talks with host Natalie Benamou and reveals the profound moment that changed how she tells stories. Monica shares “If you help people tell their story with dignity and strength, it’s far more effective than anything else that you could do.”Listen in as Monica shares why the stories leaders hold back often carry the greatest weight  and what happens when we choose to speak them with intention. From the lens of journalism, leadership, and lived experience, Monica describes how powerful stories are shaped, why credibility is built through truth and timing, and how leaders can take ownership of their narrative without oversharing or self-editing themselves into invisibility. This conversation will inspire  you to think about storytelling in a new way.3 Power Takeaways:1. The way a story is told matters as much as the story itself2. Telling your own story requires a different kind of courage3. Fear shapes decisions when it isn’t namedYour Story Matters Now More than EverWe are living in a moment where credibility, trust, and presence are being redefined. The way you tell or don’t tell  your story plays a bigger role than you may realize in the way people see you as a leader.“One of the things that happens when some people decide that they want to tell their story, all the thoughts start to happen. What if people know I’m talking about them? What if they’re going to be angry with me? What will be the consequences of telling my story? But we don’t realize that when we have the courage to tell our stories, it’s going to impact someone for the better..”-Monica PierreThis episode is about crafting a narrative that resonates with the listener. It will help guide you to have a better understanding about the quiet power of your lived experience and choosing when to share it.Now it is your turn to think about what idea can you turn into your power story?Keep shining your light bright. Are you in alignment with your joy and career to create the biggest impact?Listen in today as Michelle Pecak shares with host Natalie Benamou, how she went from scaling billion-dollar companies through pricing strategies to realizing her real superpower and aligning her joy to her job. “I meet people for other people so I can connect them later.”- Michelle PecakThat simple idea is at the heart of Michelle's joy job. What work are you doing that lights you up and creates real value for others? It can look different for each of us from corporate roles, growing businesses, landing a board seat, or designing a portfolio career. A joy job expands from the patterns that have always been true about you: how you listen, how you decide, how you gather people, how you see possibilities.Michelle brings Human Design into the conversation as a way to see those patterns with more clarity. She describes Human Design as an adventure map of you. Instead of guessing at your strengths, you get language for them. You see why certain work feels natural, why certain rooms feel right, and why some seasons call you toward a bigger stage.Together, we talk about:How Michelle recognized that “being the connector” was not an extra, it was the pointWhy Joy Job work can sit alongside your current role and grow with youHow Human Design gives you a personal map and a North Star for your giftsThe power of viewing your experiences as lessons that are shaping your impactSimple ways to start noticing where your own Joy Job is already showing upThis episode is a reminder that you are not starting from scratch. Your Joy Job has been whispering to you for years in the introductions you make, the problems you love to solve, and the people who always seem to find you.Add in Human Design and gain a clear map so you can choose your next move with intention and create the impact you are here to make.Thank you Michelle Pecak for being a valued member and alliance partner of HerCsuite®!About Michelle PecakTwenty years in Corporate America taught me what misalignment feels like. When I learned my Human Design, everything clicked. I realized I had been working in systems that were never built for how I naturally lead.As a 5/1 Projector, I see what others miss. I bring clarity to complexity, align people with purpose, and design systems that work better for everyone. What does it mean to be relevant in a fast-paced era of AI, and how can you stay in demand? Have you done a search for a company recently and couldn't find it?A simple search one day was the inspiration for this episode. I was looking for a new at-home workout and to my surprise, the company I have used for over 18 years was mysteriously missing from all search. This experience is an example of how quickly brands can disappear if they aren’t using AEO.What about for your company, are you showing up in online searches?Inspired, I decided to check HerCsuite® and used phrases like NEXT. Similar to BODi, we were not showing up in search like we use to. I did an experiment and We rebuilt our updated the entire website to be AEO focused. HerCsuite® now appears in the number two spot right under one of the largest women’s networks. AI and AEO influence the way we with search, but staying in demand is also about how we show up and how we lead. As you listen today, it's important to remember that AI is a tool, but the 5 ways to be in demand are human actions only you can take. This episode is releasing the day before Thanksgiving in the U.S. and I am grateful to all of you listening both here and in the 40 countries around the world.SPECIAL INVITATION to JOIN HERCSUITE®If you’re ready for your next board role, business growth, or portfolio career and drive the AI conversation, I would love to welcome you in HerCsuite®. Reinvention often begins with a single moment that changes how we see our lives and the impact we want to make. Michelle Bockman, CEO of KeraLink International, shares her story and it reminds us what can happen when vision and purpose align.Michelle’s story is one of true reinvention. After building a remarkable corporate career across Fortune 100 companies and Silicon Valley startups, she found herself at a crossroads. Around that same time, life threw her an unexpected curveball, she lost the central vision in her right eye due to a rare condition. During her treatment, doctors also discovered cancer in her other eye. What happened next changed everything. While Michelle regained her full 20/20 vision after treatment at Johns Hopkins, the experience opened her eyes (literally and figuratively) to a new calling, leading KeraLink International, a nonprofit focused on ending preventable blindness around the world.Michelle has completely reimagined what a modern nonprofit can be. She’s built an ecosystem that includes:Community Programs that bring eye screenings and care to underserved areas.KeraX Venture Studio, developing affordable eye-care technologies that can be used anywhere in the world.KeraLink.com, an eyewear brand where 100% of the profits go right back into funding care. One of my favorite parts of our conversation was hearing how they’re training women health workers in India who go door-to-door to help families get care. These women are finding new confidence, independence, and purpose creating ripple effects that go far beyond vision care.“When vision meets purpose, everything becomes clear.” — Michelle BockmanMichelle’s story is a powerful reminder that reinvention is about embracing unexpected opportunities and being open to possibilities.Action Step: Take a quiet moment this week to ask yourself: What part of my story is ready to be seen in a new light? Sometimes clarity begins when we give ourselves permission to look again.About Michelle Bockman:Michelle Bockman is President & CEO of KeraLink International, a nonprofit focused on reducing corneal blindness globally by expanding eye care accessibility. Are you feeling under pressure and that there isn’t much you can control? You’re not alone. I’ve been there too and what I’ve learned is that the one thing we can control is how we learn and what we do with it.As the hardcover of Power of What’s NEXT: Bold Moves By Design releases October 14th, I’ve been thinking a lot about crossroads moments ... those times when we pause and realize something needs to change. Writing my chapter made me reflect on how curiosity has been the constant through every pivot I’ve made, from launching HerCsuite® to creating HER HEALTHX, nonprofit focused on improving women’s health outcomes using Agentic AI.Back in 2019, after facing my own experience with symptom dismissal, I planned to start a women’s health company. But timing, career, and the pandemic all had different ideas. HerCsuite® took off, and I followed that path until I found myself trying to balance two worlds: leadership and healthcare. For a while, they felt separate. But when I started learning everything I could about AI, it became clear that these two worlds could come together.AI became the bridge, a way to bring together leadership, technology, and women’s health with purpose. Once I found this new combined “why,” everything shifted.I believe women need to be in the driver’s seat of AI, not just using it, but shaping it. By 2030, when the greatest wealth transfer in history happens for women, we must be more than fluent in how technology works so we can lead with confidence and multiply our impact. It is this discovery, that helped me pivot into a new blend of leadership and healthcare using AI.In this episode, I share three ways you can use AI right now to gain clarity about your next chapter: 1️⃣ Discover more about yourself with Human Design I did, and it changed everything with Michelle Pecak, Founder of MY VIBE 2️⃣ Create your own AI Board of Advisors to guide your thinking and strategy. 3️⃣ Become a curious learner because as "adaptability is the new currency"-Karin Kimbrough. Curious learners land board roles, and grow businesses and make transformation possible. In times of uncertainty, curiosity can bring clarity. It reminds us that learning and applying what we learn is something we can control.Once I realized that I could combine AI with what I love helping women lead, and thrive with bridging the care communication gap, everything felt lighter. I believe the future will be brighter when women are shaping it: improving health outcomes, influencing boardrooms, and driving the wealth and knowledge transfer ahead. We are at a crossroads moment and we can navigate it together. 📖 Power of What's NEXT: Bold Moves By Design Releases October 14th, 2025.✨ Keep Shining Your Light Bright. What if the next season of your life is the one where everything comes together—your experience, your confidence, and your legacy?I had such a heartfelt conversation with Wendi Brown about her chapter You Are a Profit Powerhouse in Power of What’s NEXT: Bold Moves By Design. Wendi’s words have stayed with me, especially when she said, “Your legacy is your leverage. Use it.” She also shared a reminder that made me pause—“Confidence without experience is a liability.”What I love about Wendi is how she sees women over 50 as having an incredible advantage. Instead of slowing down, this is the moment to lean into everything you’ve learned and step forward with boldness. Here are just a few things you’ll take away from our conversation: ✨ How your legacy can be the strongest foundation for your future. ✨ Why confidence and experience together create unstoppable momentum. ✨ The real advantage women have in the second half of their careers.💡 One action to try: When life feels heavy or uncertain, take Wendi’s advice—give yourself one more day.
