In this episode Franziska chats with Troy, who is a childhood traumatic brain injury survivor and later on in life Troy was in a bad car accident and unfortunately suffered another TBI. He was told that he was never going to walk again and would be in a nursing home for the rest of his life. Troy was motivated to be able to take his dog hiking again and a few months later was able to move to Oregon to become a medical cannabis patient. The physical relief from the cannabis allowed Troy to be able to get outdoors again and enjoy the psychological relief that nature brought him. To raise awareness for traumatic brain injuries and medicinal marijuana, Troy hiked 420 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail.
