New to the Crew

Pete and Mel were both sick over the past few days and neither actually made it to Columbus to watch the game. They did however watch it from the discomfort of their own home, and even jumped on to live pod for the last 20 minutes of the game. A new setup for 2026, "end of month Crew Review with Eric!" Obviously, Eric knows a million more things about Crew than Pete, so obviously it makes sense to get him on to explain why we have only 1 point from the opening 2 games. Obviously there were some tech issues at the beginning (and occasionally throughout), but obviously Pete couldn't be bothered to fully edit it down. Obviously, you should still listen to it. Pete and Mel talk themselves into starting a 4th season of New to the Crew and explain how they feel like they are New to the Crew all over again. Recorded in segments over the course of opening day weekend in the build-up and aftermath to Portland away (we lost). GO CREW!

Pete gets up at silly o'clock to record live from Lithuania and update Mel with his 3-game challenge and sounds groggy from the outset. Sprinkled in is some occasional Crew chat to keep the pod honest. GO CREW!

A cheeky little BONUS pod recorded live (last week) in Estonia. Pete and Mel (and Rory the Baby) went to an Estonian top division game so talk about that a bit, plus footy in Latvia. Crew are back to playing (and winning) and they barely talk about that. Enjoy!

Pete and Mel spent last weekend visiting the wonderful Bumble's Backyard in Columbus before returning to Lower.com for yet another Crew home win, this time over San Jose Earthquakes. The "Fallen" Crew team win 2-1 away in the Nation's Capital (I always wanted to write that) and are now unbeaten in 6. A 4-2 home opening win against Chicago Fire and it's great to be back at Lower.com. Pete did the 9-hour round trip solo, but nobody wants to hear about that journey, so instead is joined by GUEST Brian to talk us through his 'Crew-ti-Ful Day'.
