The challenges of examining the subjective experience of supernatural events prompted today's special guest, Dr. Fredrick Woodard, to write the book Developing Your Supernatural Awareness. He presents some of his personal history with supernatural experiences and mentions key people who influenced him. He talks about his earliest experiences with hypnosis, the study of consciousness, and how he evolved as a professional, as well as how he developed deeper connections to his heritage. Dr. Fredrick Woodardis a clinical psychologist and certified hypnotherapist who conducts original research on the supernatural/paranormal, hypnosis, and psychotherapy. His research stems from his dissatisfaction with general psychological explanations of hypnosis and altered states, which have not reflected his own personal and clinical experience. And he shares with us how he improved his understanding of supernatural awareness and forged stronger connections with the universe - a universe alive with invisible beings, energies, and information that can interact with us. Dr. Woodard's first book, Perceptual Hypnosis: A Spiritual Journey Toward Expanding Awareness, describes his theoretical approach to perceptual awareness, spirituality, and hypnosis. He first presented his approach in his doctoral dissertation in 2001 and in a series of eleven peer-reviewed articles in Psychological Reports between 2003 and 2014. His first journal article, “Hypnosis and Phenomenological Perceptual Psychology,” was published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology in March 1996. His private practice is located in Milford, New Hampshire. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the New Hampshire Psychological Association, the Society of Psychological Hypnosis (Division 30 of APA), and the Society of Scientific Exploration.

Today's special guest Steve Rizzo, a notable motivational speaker and former comedian, is here to talk about his hilarious book Conversations with Bob, which he devoted seven years to writing. The title character, Bob, is a higher being/God that appears to Bernie, a newly crossed over, negative minded soul, as an old Hippie. But Bob is not as he appears. He is wise, brilliant, all-knowing, and really funny. The conversations between the two make you laugh, and will prompt you to start a dialogue between your own Inner Bob and your own Inner Bernie. Steve describes the book as a mission for all of us to adhere to. He wants to spend the rest of his life spreading his entertaining, thought-provoking, timeless message. Steve Rizzo was a national headline comedian, with opening acts such as Drew Carey, Rosie O’Donnell, and Chris Rock. He shared the marquee with Ellen DeGeneres, Rodney Dangerfield, Eddie Murphy, and Jerry Seinfeld. He starred in his own Showtime comedy special, earning him honors as a Showtime Comedy All-Star.  Steveis a member of the prestigious Speakers Hall of Fame—an honor bestowed on fewer than 200 speakers worldwide since 1977. However, he didn’t start out this way. His is a story that people will resonate with, similar to the theme in “Rocky,” where the underdog rises to the occasion and takes his place amongst the winners. In Steve’s case, he was voted least likely to succeed in high school. That didn’t stop him. He went on to prove the naysayers wrong by graduating with high honors at the university and postgraduate level. In a full-circle moment, he returned to teach at his high school, changing the narrative others had written for him.

In today's special guest Brianna Ladapo's book Emerging From Darkness, she takes us through her troubled, tumultuous childhood in a deeply religious family who believed her extraordinary intuitive gifts to be the work of the devil. As she struggled to adapt to a world in which she felt completely alien, her desire for self-preservation and acceptance led her to actively suppress these gifts. The result was a great deal of suffering, including chronic migraines that regularly put her in the hospital, severe physical illness that nearly killed her, persistent, dark visions of tragedies she could not prevent, and countless sexual traumas and abuses that seemed to define every relationship in her formative years. This led to a deep distrust and fear of others, incredible self-doubt and loathing, and ultimately, a very dark depression. Finally, an encounter with a divinely gifted healer reawakened her gifts and taught her how to truly free herself from her trauma and experience a life she loves, invulnerable to programming, fear, shame, or external influences. Brianna Ladapo is an intuitive spiritual healer, movement therapist, and teacher. She has a master’s degree in English from Harvard University and has studied traditional naturopathy, plant and herbal medicine, and shamanism. She lives in Florida with her husband and three boys, where she works with nonprofit organizations to heal trafficked and exploited children.
After the study and collation of more than 500 Near Death Experience accounts and the identification of common observations and insights drawn therefrom, today's special guest, Douglas Hodgson authored the book Spiritual Revelations from Beyond the Veil: What Humanity Can Learn from the Near Death Experience. In his book, Douglas decouples spirituality from a religious context and perspective. It examines the intriguing accounts of people who have undergone a near-death experience (NDE) and what was revealed to them while outside their physical bodies. The messaging brought back include, but goes well beyond, what can be found in religious scripture in relation to such things as Heaven(s), the higher spiritual realms, what happens upon the death of our physical body, the meaning and purpose of our Earthly life, what interconnectedness/oneness mean, so-called Universal Laws, the nature of positive and negative energy, the gift of free will and its purpose, the nature of soul agreements, and our spiritual rebirth and life-review. Douglas' book provides comfort, validation and assurance for those who are still struggling to come to grips with their own NDE as well as for the terminally ill, those who have suffered a difficult bereavement, and those who fear so-called death. Douglas Hodgson is a former Dean and Professor of Law, currently residing in Perth, Western Australia. He undertook postgraduate legal study at the University of London before embarking on a 35-year career in higher education in Canada, Australia and New Zealand as a teacher, researcher, scholar, human rights advocate and university administrator.
Today's special guest, Cindy Kaza’s first memorable encounter with a spirit happened when she was just 10 years old. A girl from her elementary school was killed in a tragic car accident. Shortly after her death, Cindy woke up in the middle of the night to find the ghost of this girl standing directly next to her bed. Cindy dismissed this chilling experience as just a dream and never spoke about it until her early 20s when she realized she was continually having mediumistic experiences. Since her “awakening,” Cindy has been searching for the truth about her gifts and testing the limits of her multifaceted abilities.  Completing her role as co-host on The Dead Files and in the development of a new show with a prominent UK-based production company, internationally known Psychic Medium Cindy Kaza is turning her focus to art. Her aura art drawings specifically help us demystify our unique energy fields around us and the messaging they provide.  Through her aura drawings, Kaza can read a person and search through their past, present, and even their future. Working in oil and pastels, her vibrant aura drawings, guided by spirit, help tell the story of a person’s life. Cindy says, “Every person has a unique energy field around them, called an aura. The aura holds a tremendous amount of information that can tell us about the past, present, and future. The colors of the aura all have meaning and the placement of the colors in the auric field shows the reader important information about a person’s life.” One of Kaza’s true passions is channeling spirits through art. She is known for her ability to draw spirits, especially clients’ spirit guides and the spirits she encounters at haunted locations as well as aura art drawings.

Online dating is at an all-time high. Its industry is worth nearly $7 billion. Its popularity has increased in proportion to the increases in loneliness and social isolation brought on by Covid. Finding your soulmate in a largely online world can be tricky enough as it is, and this book aims to help you find a compatible partner without having to kiss too many frogs. Deciding to write the book she couldn’t find on the market, today's special guest, author Janine Lowe set her aim toward helping people find their way every day with relationships, life, health, and wealth through Chinese Horoscopes and Feng Shui. Using thousands of years of Chinese Zodiac knowledge to help you find your soulmate, Love, Date, Marry, Avoid is a funny, practical, irreverent, and accessible guide to Chinese astrology, geared to help you learn what makes your personal sign tick and which animal signs are your most -- and least -- compatible. In these pages, Janine will help you determine which animal you are -- the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, or Pig? -- and identify great date options as she decides whether to date, love, marry, or avoid. After all, there’s no point taking a Rat to the gym; you’ll never see him again!  Janine Lowe has always been intuitive. She wasn’t designed for a 9-5 job, and she wanted to use what she was good at as a career. A friend suggested Feng Shui, and she trained with various masters and became a Feng Shui consultant. Then she found Chinese Astrology and Joey Yap. He became her mentor and taught her about metaphysics. That transformed her life.
On May 12, 2015, Amtrak 188 derailed outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Eight passengers were killed and over 150 were injured. The National Transportation Safety Board concluded that the conductor had “lost situational awareness” and sped through the sharpest curve in the Northeast at more than double the maximum speed limit. Geralyn was on her way home from an ordinary business trip when the accident happened. She was crushed in the crash, which killed eight and injured hundreds. Her abdominal, chest, pelvic and orthopedic injuries were overwhelming, and she was not expected to live. In a split second, she went from being a devoted mother of three boys and globe-trotting senior executive at one of America’s largest companies to an immobilized ICU patient on a ventilator facing a highly uncertain future. And for her family, the hard-charging working mom that could be counted on to shake off the jet lag of a flight from Asia and make the middle-school baseball game on time, turned into someone almost unrecognizable and completely dependent on their care. Geralyn’s doctors use the word “miraculous” to describe her survival and recovery. Today she lives a full life inspired by gratitude and offers hope and healing to many others. She is known for her distinctive laugh that fills a room and determined resilience in the face of personal and professional challenges.  Bone by Bone is the author’s account of suffering near-fatal injuries  and her long recovery in the years since. The forthcoming book deals honestly with the long-lasting impact of sudden trauma and offers hope – from the perspective of someone who has been there. And back.
Chakras are believed to be energy centers in the body, according to various ancient spiritual traditions, particularly within Hinduism and Buddhism. They are thought to be spinning wheels or vortexes of energy that correspond to different aspects of our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. However, when one or more chakras are out of balance, it can result in negative repercussions. Today's special guest, Radha Metro-Midkiff, a Certified Life Coach and the Executive Director for the Integral Yoga Institute New York, is with us today to explain how the chakras influence our bodies and give us seven ways to heal and balance them. Radha's upbringing in Yoga began at an early age, having been raised under the tutelage of Sri Swami Satchidananda at Yogaville. Her parents, Integral Yoga Ministers Bhagavan and Bhavani Metro, moved several times to ensure her and her five siblings received an Integral Yoga School/Yogaville Vidyalayam education from 1st to 12th grade. At the young age of 18, Radha was already certified as both a Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga instructor. Furthermore, she was among a select group of four individuals to receive the direct blessing of Dharma confirmation from Swami Satchidananda, a rare and highly coveted honor.
