Good morning. Our study this month covers the idea of "Hope in the Times of Crises". In this study, we will consider a definition and a biblical position on Hope. We will also consider a definition of crisis; an exploration of crisis in creation, and a biblical response; an exploration of crisis in general and a believer's response. We will end the series with an exploration of crisis within and a recovery plan.
Today, we speak about hope as used in the New Testament, meaning a favourable and confident expectation.
Reverend Ronald Webster is the Pastor of Hopewell Missionary Church in Hopewell, Hanover, Jamaica.
Maranatha. We have come to the last sermon in our series on The Wonderful Anticipation: The Posture of the Church towards the Second Coming of Christ Jesus".The topics we have covered are: (1) The Believers' Waiting, (2) The Believers' Watch, and (3) The Believers' Walk. We therefore close with The Believers' Work until the Son of Man puts in His appearance.
Matthew 24 and 25 address Jesus' teaching on His return. He speaks about the unpredictability of His return in Matthew 24:43, but affirms the certainty in Matthew 24:42. Angels make the same point in Acts 1:11. Each passage referenced has two things in common: the assured declaration of Jesus' return and the believers' response to the assurance of this return.

I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ. It is with great joy and anticipation that we await the glorious return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. As we journey in this series on the theme, Joyful Anticipation - The Posture of the Church Towards The Second Coming of Christ Jesus, so far we have covered The Believers' Waiting and The Believers' Watch. Today, we discuss The Believers' Walk, a look at the Christians' sanctification in light of our Lord's return.

Good morning again, everyone, and Maranatha. Today, we continue the series themed "Joyful Anticipation, The Posture of the Church towards the Second Coming of Christ Jesus". I intend to address this as follows: (1) The Believers' Waiting - A Look on Our Blessed Hope, (2) The Believers' Walk - Our Sanctification, (3) The Believers' Work - Our Acts of Service, and (4) The Believers' Watch - Our Steadfastness Until the Lord Returns. Today, let us consider The Believer's Watch.
Whenever we start our discussions on the Lord's return, some will always say they have been hearing this for a very long time, indicating the long delay in His coming. Mathew's Gospel deals with the delay of the parousia in two ways: the first is a warning to be watchful, and the second is a warning about preparedness.
Reverend Kevin Edwards is the Pastor of Waterford Missionary Church in St. Catherine, Jamaica.
It is a travesty to know that what the Lord has intended to serve as the believers' hope and comfort has become their despair and distress. Far too many believers do not read or study the teachings of the Second Advent of our Lord Jesus Christ. His Second Coming was always intended to bring joy and hope for Christians of all ages.

Good morning, listeners. Today, we conclude this short series exploring key themes in the Epistle of First John. In this episode, we examine the danger posed by love of the world.
John, the Apostle of love, shared from a Pastoral heart the principles of maintaining fellowship with God and with fellow believers, through constant confession of sins to remain in The Light as he was in The Light. 1 John 2:15-17.

Good morning, listeners. In this series, we are exploring the Epistle of First John. Last week, we introduced you to First John as a family letter written by a concerned Pastor, and mentioned two of the purposes for which this Epistle was written. Let us now explore how the believer can maintain fellowship and, as a result, experience the fullness of joy. Our reference is 1 John 1:5-10.

Happy New Year. As people of faith, we have every right to express the customary New Year's greeting, even though we have just left behind what will undoubtedly go down in history as the most catastrophic year in Jamaica. This month, we will be sharing from the Epistle of John, particularly the first epistle.

This morning, let us consider our role in spreading and responding to the "Good News". As we come to the end of another calendar year, there is much for which we can give thanks to God, personally and nationally. What are you thanking God for today? What has God brought you through this year? How have you experienced the manifold blessings of God in your life? Be sure to take some time to give thanks to God from a grateful heart.
Today, we reference Luke 2:15-20 in our reflections.
Reverend Omar Morrison is the Pastor of First Missionary Church in Kingston, Jamaica.
Merry Christmas to you from Reverend Omar Morrison and his family, as well as from The Missionary Church Association in Jamaica.
Many persons still do not understand the significance of the birth of Jesus. For them, Christmas is about shopping, gifts, the bright lights, family, food, parties, and pleasure. Or perhaps some vacation time from working all year round. But Christmas is all about Jesus, who He is, and the difference He has come to make in our lives and in our dark world.
Today, we continue our Advent reflections on the Birth of Jesus as recorded in Luke 2:1-14.
Reverend Omar Morrison is the Pastor of First Missionary Church in Kingston, Jamaica.
So far, in our Advent reflections from the Gospel of Luke, we have seen that Zachariah and Elizabeth were righteous in God's sight, as noted in Luke 1:6. That beautiful description from God challenges us to make the pursuit of righteousness before God a central part of our lives in this Advent season.
Today, we will consider some important lessons from the birth of Jesus foretold in Luke 1:26-38, as our reference text.
Reverend Omar Morrison is the Pastor of First Missionary Church in Kingston, Jamaica.
What does it mean to be "Righteous"? Is being "Righteous" important to you? What does "Righteousness" have to do with Advent?
We will address these questions over the next few Sundays as we focus on the Advent Season, using Luke's Gospel message in sharing these reflections. Today, let us consider "The Blessedness of Being Righteous Before God" (Luke 1:5-25).
Reverend Omar Morrison is the Pastor of First Missionary Church in Kingston, Jamaica.
We have been briefly examining the Kingdom of God. We have examined "The Lord of the Kingdom" and concluded that Jesus Christ is the Lord, or King, of the Kingdom. We have also considered "The Life of the Kingdom" and "The Language of the Kingdom".
Today, as we conclude this series, we now consider "The Love of the Kingdom". It is my prayer that we will allow God to rule and reign in our lives, that we will speak the language of Heaven, and live out the life of love as citizens of "The Kingdom of God".
Reverend Ronald Webster is the Pastor of the Hopewell circuit of Missionary Churches in Hanover, Jamaica.

Last week, we began exploring the concept of "The Kingdom of God" as revealed in the Bible, the Word of God. We highlighted that the Lord of the Kingdom is Jesus Christ, God in the flesh.
Today, we examine in greater detail "The Life of the Kingdom". We will consider two areas, "The Message of the Kingdom" and "The Mandate of the Kingdom".
Reverend Ronald Webster is the Pastor of the Hopewell circuit of Missionary Churches in Hanover, Jamaica.
I greet you in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, our soon-coming King. We aim to explore, over the next few weeks, a crucial subject that has not received the due attention it deserves: "The Kingdom of God".
Is there such thing as "The Kingdom of God"? What does the Bible teach about "The Kingdom of God"? Is this something we should learn more about? Would our living be more impactful if we understood the concept? Does it matter?
In this series, we want to consider the following: "The Lord of the Kingdom", "The Life of the Kingdom", "The Language of the Kingdom", and "The Love of the Kingdom".
