NASCAR is headed to Phoenix for the championship finale but before that happens, Steve Letarte and the guys react to all the craziness that happened last weekend at Martinsville. Joey Logano, Tyler Reddick, Ryan Blaney and William Byron are racing for a championship, but that doesn’t mean they are the four favorites according to the Professor. His model only has Blaney and Byron in Tier 1. The other drivers at the top are Christopher Bell, Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin. While Bell isn’t racing for a championship the guys think he is the odds-on favorite to win.Reddick is the lowest driver of the Championship 4 contenders, sitting in Tier 3. Logano sits in Tier 2 but having two weeks to gameplan for this race could help him. However, Tampa Timms has his eyes on Logano and Reddick top-5 bet. The guys then guess what Vegas has for average finishing position for: Harrison Burton, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Daniel Suarez, Bubba Wallace, and Austin Cindric. The best bet on the board is a two-way bet. Bet Bubba top-10 at +250 and over average finishing position of 14.5.The guys also handicap the champ 4 for Xfinity and trucks. And, last but not least in the Degenerate 4 Pack this week is: Texas team total over 29.5 vs Florida Indiana -6.5 vs Michigan Eagles -6.5 vs Cowboys Lions -3.5 vs Texans For more content head to our YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@DirtyMoDough Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. This Sunday is the final race before the championship finale and two spots are up for grabs at Martinsville. Steve Letarte and the boys handicap the race and discuss that Goodyear has their softest tire ever this weekend, but Steve isn’t so sure we will see the falloff everyone is hoping for (6:00).At the top of the Professor’s predictor are: Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney, and Chase Elliott, who all happen to be below the cutline (10:00). Hendrick Motorsports still doesn’t have a driver locked in to the championship race and Steve talks about how they will handle Sunday’s race and what to expect.Christopher Bell is able to point his way in sitting at +27, so don’t bet him to win (18:20).Tampa Timms has one bet so far on driver to win and that is on Ryan Blaney (22:10). And he is going back to a bet that has cashed the last two weeks — William Byron over Kyle Larson at plus money (25:45). He also likes Alex Bowman over Josh Berry and Blaney over Hamlin. This week for average finishing position, producer Travis gives the drivers and the guys guess what the number is for their average finishing position bet (30:10).The Degenerate 4-Pack suffered another loss thanks to Steve and the Professor’s awful picks while Tampa Timms has tried to carry the bunch. This week’s 4-leg parlay is: Florida/Georgia over 47.5 points Oregon -6.5 vs Michigan Navy -9.5 vs Rice Commanders -3.5 vs GiantsTravis and the Professor also made a friendly wager on the Ohio State/Penn State game that has a temporary tattoo on the line. For more content head to our YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@DirtyMoDough Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Before moving on to this weekend’s race at Homestead, Steve Letarte and the boys recap how Las Vegas went. Steve discusses the 11 team’s pit crew and tells a story about changing pit crews mid-race with Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.NASCAR enters the second race of the Round of 8, and it’s looking like a Playoff driver will once again win the race. Sitting in Tier 1 of the Professor’s model are Christopher Bell, Kyle Larson, William Byron, and Denny Hamlin (10:12). While Tampa Timms likes Larson, at +350 he is going to avoid that number. On the flipside, Bell is +700 and that is a bet now play.Tampa Timms does have one underdog that he is putting a sprinkle on that shocks everyone (13:10).Alex Bowman top-10 bet has cashed a lot this season, but with three other HMS cars in the Playoffs Tampa Timms doesn’t think this is the week to bet on him (17:00).Byron was plus-money last weekend to beat Larson and he pulled it off (21:00). He is plus-money once again and the guys think it’s worth it to bet that he can beat one guy.The guys normally don’t touch group bets but Producer Travis found one this weekend that is a fade SHR bet (23:25).In the Xfinity race on Saturday, it’s really simple. Bet Cole Custer (29:15).The Degenerate 4 Pack suffered another loss last weekend but the guys are hopeful they can get a win. Steve Letarte and the guys are back to preview the first race of the Round of 8 this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. But first Steve puts his crew chief hat on and explains NASCAR disqualifying Alex Bowman at the ROVAL.At the top of the Professor’s predictor for this weekend in Vegas is Kyle Larson, who has won the last two races there (12:35). Rounding out tier 1 are William Byron, Denny Hamlin, Tyler Reddick, Christopher Bell, and Ross Chastain. Tampa Timms got in early on betting Bell to win and since then the line has been moving.Bubba Wallace isn’t the Playoffs, but the guys like betting him plus-money for a top-10 (18:30). Joey Logano was the benefactor of Alex Bowman’s DQ but the guys aren’t high on him this weekend (21:00). Vegas has him +1500 to win but Steve thinks it should be around +2000.Byron is +150 to beat Larson in a matchup (25:30). While Larson is the favorite, at that number it is worth betting Byron.Jimmie Johnson is racing again this weekend and things haven’t gone great for him when he’s been in the car. Steve explains why (28:00). Tampa Timms’ favorite bet this weekend will be a live bet at the end of stage 2 (31:50).The prop bets this weekend don’t have the guys as excited but margin of victory is one they like (33:00).The Degenerate 4-Pack suffered another loss last weekend thanks to Producer Travis but the guys are hopeful this weekend. Steve Letarte and the guys discuss which drivers are safe, who can point their way in, and who has to win to advance. They also discuss racing strategy and expectations with the new track configuration (9:00).The Professor lists the drivers in tier one of his models and they are shocked by two names that are missing (10:50). Shane van Gisbergen is a fan favorite but not on the model. The guys debate where they think he will finish and if it’s worth betting on him not to win (15:00).If you’re betting on drivers to win, bet on non-Playoff drivers, plus Byron, Bell, and Larson (21:25).Tampa Timms has a handful of top-10 bets he likes this week and they are all plus money (24:30). Plus, Tampa Timms is an Austin Dillon fan this week and will be making money on him unless he finishes, 11th, 12th or 13th.The guys also have some matchups they are keeping an eye on. Two of those are Chris Buescher vs. Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman vs. Daniel Suarez (32:00).Letarte is big on the prop bets this week and his “Hammer of the Week” is drivers to lead a lap (35:00).In the Xfinity race the question is will it be SVG or AJ Allmendinger winning (39:00)? But, don’t be shocked if those two wreck and a JRM car finds it’s way to Victory Lane. The Degenerate 4-Pack suffered a loss last week thanks the Professor and Producer Travis. This wee their 4-leg parlay is:Syracuse over 29.5 pointsHouston Texas -6.5 vs. New England PatriotsBuffalo Bills -2.5 vs. New York JetsTampa Bay -2.5 vs New Orleans SaintsThe guys also talks about Ohio State/Oregon, Texas/OU and LSU/Ole Miss among some other big football games this weekend. Before we head to Talladega, the guys recap Tampa Timms’ huge weekend at Kansas winning every prop bet. Plus, Steve, Tampa, and The Professor sulk in their losing bets from Football Saturday. This week NASCAR heads to Talladega. Sitting at Tier 1 of the Predictor are Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, and William Byron. Tampa Timms loves Blaney and Byron to battle for the win this weekend. The Professor thinks you should fade two of the top 3 favorites and Steve Letarte shares why Talladega is not a random race, it’s just hard to predict. (5:15)Kyle Larson is at or near the top of the Predictor every week, so why should you fade him this week? (14:25)Spire Motorsports has been red hot of late and just recently acquired a Superspeedway ace in Justin Haley, is there value in betting on Spire? (20:00)The Degenerate 4-Pack was an epic failure last week, with only Travis’ leg winning. However, that’s not stopping the boys from going back to the well. Before moving on to Kansas the guys take a look back at last week and The Professor is happy after the performance of his Predictor. Plus, Producer Travis has a surprise for Letarte. The second round of the NASCAR Playoffs begins this weekend at Kansas. Sitting in Tier 1 of the Predictor are Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Tyler Reddick, Christopher Bell, and Chase Elliott (6:50). Tampa Timms likes Larson and says he has to be on your bet slip. However, he isn’t as high on Chase Elliott even though Letarte thinks he’s worth betting for a top-10 finish even with -220 odds. Two non-Playoff drivers sit in tier 2 and Tampa Timms is paying close attention to them. Those drivers are Ross Chastain and Bubba Wallace (11:20).Corey LaJoie and Justin Haley have swapped rides and the question is, who will have the better race (16:30)?Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Busch are still winless in 2024 and the guys discuss who is more likely to win this season (23:20).Tampa Timms believes Bell will make the Championship 4 and for that reason, he will be betting him to win each week. Plus, he likes Bell in a group bet and potentially top Toyota (24:20).Alex Bowman has chased a lot of top-10 bets for Tampa Timms this season and he believes that will hit again. Drivers on lead lap at finish and number of lead changes is an absolute hammer bet (30:45).Xfinity Series Playoffs begin this weekend and Sheldon Creed is the best bet on the board (34:00).The Degenerate 4-Pack turned a profit last week after cashing out before the Raiders/Panthers game and they hope to keep that going. This week the bets for their 4-leg parlay are (35:00): Dallas Cowboys -5.5 vs New York Giants Miami -12.5 vs Virginia Tech Ohio State -12.5 first half vs Michigan State Ohio State/MSU over 48.5 points The guys hand out other football bets they have for the weekend before wrapping up. Steve Letarte and the guys started out reviewing last weekend’s race at Watkins Glen, and, specifically, what Chris Buescher’s win did to Tampa Timms’ bet slip. Then, their attention turned to the current books as NASCAR heads to Bristol this weekend for the final race in the first round of the Cup Series Playoffs. Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Chase Elliott, Christopher Bell and Brad Keselowski all sit in Tier 1 of the Professor’s model. The sportsbooks aren’t as high on Elliott as the model is, so some value can be found there.Kyle Busch is in Tier 2, but his success at Bristol can’t be overlooked.Denny Hamlin has won the last two races at Bristol, but is limping into the race below the cutline. Steve and The Professor break down how many points Denny needs to earn in order to advance. On the flipside, Alex Bowman has had a great Playoffs so far, and yet, the books have him plus-money for a top-10. Tampa Timms is all over that bet.Martin Truex Jr. also sits below the cutline, but unfortunately for him, he doesn’t have a good track record at Bristol, so this is a race you should fade him.Looking for a longshot? Michael McDowell is a longshot Top-10 driver Tampa Timms is paying attention to this weekend. Timms might even bet McDowell for Top Ford. On Friday night, Dale Earnhardt Jr. returns to the Xfinity Series for just one race. At +1000 odds, Steve thinks you have to at least put $1 on him. The guys then move to football and have a new in-show bet to debut. Each week, all four guys will select one bet to combine for a 4-leg parlay with each person betting $5. Of course, we’re off to a great start with The Professor and Steve picking the same bet, so this week, it’s a 3-leg parlay: Liberty -6.5 vs East Carolina Tennessee -6.5 vs Oklahoma Las Vegas Raiders -5.5 vs Carolina Panthers. The guys also have bets on Colorado, USC, Washington, IU, Syracuse and more. Denny Hamlin had a less-than-stellar start to the Playoffs last weekend in Atlanta. Steve Letarte chats about why he didn’t like Hamlin’s strategy. On the flip side, The Professor’s model nailed it with seven of the top nine correctly predicted.NASCAR is now headed to Watkins Glen and Letarte breaks down what to expect with the new tires before the guys handicap the field. In tier 1 of the predictor are: Tyler Reddick, Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, and Christopher Bell.Chris Buescher sits in tier 2 but he is the hammer of the week, especially with plus money for a Top-10 bet.Letarte is high on William Byron but with him being second in the books, but it’s not as easy of a bet to play. Tampa Timms’ longshot driver who he likes this week is the man who won last week: Joey Logano. He has his ticket punched to the second round and the guys think this allows him to race for the win.Juan Pablo Montoya returns to NASCAR driving the third car for 23XI this weekend. Letarte knows Montoya is a talented driver but not being in a Cup car for a while makes him believe he might struggle a little. Shane van Gisbergen is always a name to watch on the road courses but don’t expect to see him in Victory Lane.Buescher isn’t the only driver that is worth betting for a Top-10 finish. Tampa Timms also likes Austin Cindric, Alex Bowman, and Logano. He also likes Ty Gibbs and AJ Allmendinger for pre-made Top-10 parlay. And, he is making one of his own with Bell and Reddick at plus money.Margin of victory didn’t go the guy’s way last week thanks to the caution but they believe it’s worth a bet this weekend. They also take a look at average finishing position and a few matchup bets. With football in full swing the guys also hand out some of their bets for college and NFL. Once again Producer Travis has a player prop with anytime TD for Alabama receiver Ryan Williams. Letarte puts together a couple parlays and the guys are also in on Missouri. On Sunday, it’s really simple…fade the Carolina Panthers. The guys also chat about the Patriots, Cowboys and Eagles among others. For more content head over to our YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@DirtyMoDoughFanDuel Disclaimer: 21+ and present in North Carolina. The NASCAR Playoffs are here and Steve Letarte and the boys have you covered on how to bet this weekend's race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. In Tier 1 of the Professor’s model are Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, and William Byron. 11 drivers make up Tier 2, seven of which are Playoff drivers. Tampa Timms, however, has his eyes on two non-Playoff drivers to win with Kyle Busch and Ross Chastain (6:00). Timms is also high on Christopher Bell because of his recent success on drafting tracks (8:40). Chase Briscoe punched his ticket to the Playoffs with a win last weekend in Darlington and Letarte thinks a Top-10 bet at +145 is the bet of the week (9:22). If Corey LaJoie finishes in the Top-10 or 15th or worse the guys have a way for bettors to win money. Letarte explains how to make this bet, and Timms likes it (12:30). Margin of victory is a hammer bet with one possible caveat with how a race ending under caution is scored (17:30). The guys also love the over on lead changes and drivers on lead lap at the finish. With the first race of the Playoffs at a drafting track, expect chaos. Letarte explains why the guys sitting outside the Top 12 to advance should put caution to the wind (21:20). You can bet on a driver to make the Championship 4 but Letarte believes this is the most unpredictable Playoffs and for that reason, he would avoid those. But, the two drivers that might be worth betting are Bell and Tyler Reddick (24:50). Football is officially in full swing and the guys have their legal notepads full of bets and dish out their favorites for both college and NFL (32:30). Steve Letarte talks about what it was like in the booth with Jeff Burton as Harrison Burton punched his ticket to the NASCAR Playoffs. NASCAR is now headed to Darlington for the final race of the regular season. In Tier 1 of the Professor's model is: Tyler Reddick, Denny Hamlin, William Byron, Kyle Larson, Ryan Blaney, and Chase Elliott. The surprise driver in this group is Chase Elliott. He sits in Tier 1 on the Professor's model, but in Vegas he sits 14th and is +2200 to win. After hearing this, Tampa Timms fired off the bet immediately. The guys also chat about Denny Hamlin's penalty and what this means for him going forward. Martin Truex Jr. has yet to win in his final season and don't look for that to end this weekend. On top of having Elliott on his bet slip, Tampa Timms is also going to have Reddick. Joey Logano and William Byron are on his radar but he has yet to pull the trigger on those.Average finishing position bets are back this week. The drivers you can bet on are:Ty Gibbs O/U 12.5Ricky Stenhouse Jr. O/U 20.5Austin Cindric O/U 20.5Corey LaJoie O/U 22.5Michael McDowell O/U 20.5Two other bets the guys love this week are numbers of laps led for Byron and Kyle Larson. Byron is at 9.5 laps and Larson is 29.5 laps.Margin of victory is a bet that's offered this week and the guys breakdown how they would bet this.As always, the Professor waits until 40 minutes into the podcast to give out great information and this week was no different. This week he details why Justin Haley for a top-10 is a good bet.The guys found what they believe is a miss by Vegas in the race matchups. Plus, some college football talk. NASCAR is headed back to Daytona this weekend for the second to last race in the regular season. Steve Letarte breaks down the strategy with team's fuel saving. With the Playoffs not far away, Tampa Timms thinks we could have a chaotic race.We saw chaos at Michigan going airborne. Letarte talks about the changes NASCAR is making with the lift-off speed to try and prevent that from happening. The Professor has a colorful model this week. At the top are: Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, Christopher Bell, Tyler Reddick, Chris Buescher, and William Byron. There are some Ford drivers at the top of the predictor. But there are a couple that are missing. Joey Logano is the betting favorite. But, only two top-10s in the last 10 races have him in tier 2. Another big name the Professor isn’t big on is Brad Keselowski who has 11 DNFs in the last 15 races at Daytona. Kyle Larson is 19-1 to win, but there is one problem. He’s never finished in the top-5 at Daytona. If you’re looking for a long shot, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Todd Gilliland are two good options. Tampa Timms has one simple rule for betting top-10s this week. “It must be plus money." For the first time all year, there are top-20 bets. The guys have a full breakdown of drivers worth betting on from William Byron to Cody Ware. The guys also chat about drivers that you could see lead a lap.Tampa Timms is normally not a fan of stacking bets, but Letarte has an idea for him betting top Toyota.Plus, the guys quickly preview the Xfinity series and why this is the week Sheldon Creed will finally get his win. The Cup Series is off to Michigan this weekend and Letarte talks about what it will take to win the race. The drivers in tier 1 of the Professor's model are: Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson, Tyler Reddick, and Ryan Blaney. Tampa Timms is ok with anyone betting on Hamlin, Larson and Blaney to win, but be careful betting Reddick. The Toyotas continue to have engine problems and Letarte discusses how concerned they should be. Ty Gibbs is +2200 to win and Timms thinks this might be the weekend he gets his first Cup win.Kyle Busch saw his teammate have a fast car last weekend while he lacked speed. The guys chat about if this makes him happy or more upset.Bubba Wallace is three points above the cutline and at plus money for a top-10, so this has Timms' attention. The longshot top-10 that Timms likes is Carson Hocevar at +400.Average finishing position continues to be a favorite bet for the guys. This week the drivers you can bet on are:Daniel Suarez O/U 17.5Bubba Wallace O/U 13.5Erik Jones O/U 18.5Ricky Stenhouse Jr O/U 23.5Michael McDowell O/U 22.5College football is around the corner and Fox Sports' Chris "The Bear" Fallica joins the guys. Letarte also rants about his dislike for the new NFL kickoff rule.NASCAR returns this weekend and they are heading to Richmond. For the first time in a points race, teams will have different tire options to choose from. Christopher Bell will also be without his crew chief, who got injured during the break. Letarte discusses the impact of a different crew chief. At the top of the Professor’s model are: Bell, Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, and Kyle Larson. Tampa Timms explains why Hamlin is someone you have to have on your bet slip. Another driver he has his eyes on is Joey Logano, who is in tier 2. Teams have 45 minutes to practice and the guys think this is something to pay attention to before placing too many bets.Letarte’s favorite bet on the board is average finishing position. Daniel Suarez O/U 22.5 Austin Cindric O/U 21.5 Tyler Reddick O/U 10.5 Brad Keselowski O.U 10.5 The Tampa Timms sweat bet this week is a teammate top-10 parlay with Chris Buescher and Brad Keselowski. Two other bets that could be ones you sweat until the very end are JGR vs HMS and Kyle Larson vs Denny Hamlin. Both HMS and Larson are plus money. Steve Letarte is happy after Alex Bowman’s victory in Chicago because now The Professor owes him dinner in Phoenix.Steve explains how different strategies will come into play this weekend at Pocono. The Professor breaks down his predictor. At the top all alone in tier 1 is Denny Hamlin. In tier 2 is: Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, William Byron, Brad Keselowski, and Martin Truex Jr. While Keselowski is in tier 2, Steve isn’t a big fan of him this weekend. One of the reasons is he doesn’t believe in the Fords. While odds aren’t great for Hamlin since he is the favorite, Tampa Timms believes he has to be on your card. Steve thinks the play for Hamlin might be group bets.If you’re looking for a bet that you’ll know if you won or lost real fast, Michael McDowell vs Austin Cindric in qualifying is your bet. And the guys believe the books have it wrong. It might be tough for Alex Bowman to repeat, but a top 10 might be a smart play. One driver that needs to win that has Tampa Timms' attention is Bubba Wallace. Can Erik Jones make it nine top 10s in 13 races at Pocono? The Professor and Tampa Timms think it’s possible. The show has been fading RCR this year, which means they are taking Trackhouse vs RCR in a matchup bet.The guys also chat about drivers finishing position and a quick preview of the Xfinity race. For more Dirty Mo Dough content head over to our YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@DirtyMoDough Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. NASCAR is returning to Chicago this weekend for street course racing and the defending champion is Shane Van Gisbergen. This time the books have him listed pre-practice as the favorite, unlike last year. But, can he repeat? One driver The Professor is higher on than the books is Chris Buescher. Tampa Timms agrees as a driver to win, but he also likes betting him for top-5.Justin Haley and Rick Ware Racing have impressed everyone lately, and Tampa Timms thinks he could be a sleeper for a top-10 at +360.
