The team from Paratus meets Tom Chen, Professor in Cyber Security at his faculty in City University of London. Tom Chen discusses what he feels needs to be done to provide security to IoT from both a technical and economic standpoint. Technically he suggests a 'Secure by Design' approach and economically feels that there needs to be some Government regulations or penalties for companies failing to adhere to security processes (however he believes this won't happen until a big security disaster happens). 

Rami Avidan is the CEO at Deutsche Telekom IoT,  the largest telecommunications provider in Europe by revenue, harboring over 20 years of experience previously co-founding established global IoT business Wyless and working as CEO at Tele2 to set up M2M engagement. In episode 5 of the IoT podcast, Rami Avidan discusses innovations within IoT and Deutsche Telekom including overcoming barriers in IoT for customers to reach a value in IoT solutions, the changing IoT ecosystem within the Covid-19 pandemic, and the benefits of the IoT Hub as an orchastrator to manage solutions and reduce barriers within business infrastructures.
