In this episode, I’m sharing a real conversation from inside my Scalability Mastermind that I know a lot of you will relate to. One of my students asked how to stop shiny object syndrome—specifically the urge to start a brand new Instagram page or business idea when things start to feel slow or boring in your current one.I break down why the desire to “start something new” usually has nothing to do with the idea itself and everything to do with avoiding discomfort, commitment, and the messy middle of growth. We talk about dopamine, boredom, and why staying power—not constant pivots—is what actually creates long-term success.I also share the one question I come back to anytime shiny object syndrome pops up for me, plus why delayed gratification is one of the most underrated (and hardest) skills to build in business. What you'll learnWhat shiny object syndrome really is (and why it shows up when growth feels slow)Why starting something new feels productive—but usually isn’tThe difference between boredom and misalignmentHow avoiding discomfort keeps you stuck in cycles of restartingWhy consistency and “non-sexy” daily actions matter more than motivationThe mindset shift that helps you stick things out when results are delayedThe phrase I come back to when I’m tempted to pivot or rebrandResources & Links:Join Stacked InboxScalabilityOverflow MastermindKajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksIG University30 Days of Manychat Pro FREELearn how to run successful paid adsSome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you!Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanicholJoin my email listCheck out my websiteWatch this episode on YouTubeRead this episode in blog format hereMore about the Radical Disruption podcast:Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today’s episode, I break down a real funnel experiment that completely changed how I think about email marketing, buyer behavior, and funnel strategy. While prepping for a major course launch, I found myself wondering whether I was sending too many emails—or not enough—so I decided to test it.I walk you through two versions of the exact same funnel: a 10-email sequence and a 5-email sequence for the same low-cost offer. Everything stayed the same—the opt-in, the freebie, the pop-up offer, and the pricing. The only thing that changed was the number of emails sent to people who didn’t purchase right away. The results were shocking and revealed a massive shift most business owners need to make when it comes to building funnels that actually convert in 2026 and beyond. What you'll learnThe exact funnel structure I tested, from opt-in to pop-up offer to email sequenceWhy my 10-email funnel dramatically outperformed the 5-email versionThe revenue difference between the two funnels—and why list size wasn’t the real factorWhy more emails doesn’t mean “spam,” and fewer emails doesn’t mean “better”The real reason buyers don’t purchase right away (and what they actually need instead)How longer funnels allow you to support more buyer types through storytelling, objection handling, and social proofThe one question I stopped asking—and the new question that now guides every funnel I buildResources & Links:Join Stacked InboxScalabilityOverflow MastermindKajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksIG University30 Days of Manychat Pro FREELearn how to run successful paid adsSome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you!Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanicholJoin my email listCheck out my websiteWatch this episode on YouTubeRead this episode in blog format hereMore about the Radical Disruption podcast:Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today’s episode, I break down the number one reason funnels fail to convert — and it’s not what most people think. While many funnels technically have all the “right” pieces (opt-in, freebie, nurture emails, sales emails), the real issue is how the funnel was built.Instead of creating funnels in disconnected parts, this episode explains why reverse-engineering from your main offer is the key to building a funnel that actually converts. You’ll learn how to think of your funnel as a curated journey — not a checklist — and how each step should intentionally prepare your audience to say yes to your offer. What you'll learnWhat a funnel really is (and what it’s supposed to do)Why most funnels don’t convert even when they’re “complete”The biggest mistake people make when building their funnelsWhy starting with a freebie is often the wrong first stepHow to reverse-engineer your funnel from your main offerHow to use “stepping stones” to move cold leads toward buyingWhat to evaluate inside your opt-in, freebie, nurture emails, and sales emailsThe key question every funnel component should answer before it existsResources & Links:Waitlist for Stacked InboxScalabilityOverflow MastermindKajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksIG University30 Days of Manychat Pro FREELearn how to run successful paid adsSome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you!Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanicholJoin my email listCheck out my websiteWatch this episode on YouTubeRead this episode in blog format hereMore about the Radical Disruption podcast:Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today’s episode, I’m breaking down the real reason your funnel isn’t converting the way you want—and spoiler alert, it’s missing two critical pieces. I walk through what a funnel actually is, why relying only on a front-end funnel leaves a ton of money on the table, and how to build a funnel ecosystem that works with real buyer behavior instead of fighting it. If you’ve ever wondered what happens to the 95% of people who don’t buy right away, this episode is for you! What you'll learnWhat a front-end funnel is, how it’s meant to be marketed, and why 3–5% conversions are normalWhat happens to the 95% who don’t buy—and how a long-term (reply & buy) funnel recovers that revenueWhy sending everyone to a general newsletter breaks the buyer journeyThe biggest post-purchase mistake I see (ghosting buyers) and how to fix itHow a post-purchase funnel helps buyers get results faster and creates repeat customersThe three funnels you need to build a sustainable, compounding businessJoin the Stacked Inbox waitlist here (launches Feb 22): https://myanichol.myflodesk.com/stackedinboxResources & Links:ScalabilityOverflow MastermindKajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksIG University30 Days of Manychat Pro FREELearn how to run successful paid adsSome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you!Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanicholJoin my email listCheck out my websiteWatch this episode on YouTubeRead this episode in blog format hereMore about the Radical Disruption podcast:Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today’s episode, I’m joined by Kara (@TheWhimsySoul) for a real, no-fluff conversation about what social media is heading toward in 2026—and how creators can “AI-proof” their strategy without spiraling. We talk about why being more human (not more polished) is the advantage, how algorithms are tightening people into content bubbles, why short form is becoming less reliable for nurturing + converting, and how long-form + community are becoming the steady foundation again. We also get into monetization, brand deals vs. UGC confusion, why you need multiple revenue streams, and how tools like repurpose.io, manychat, and descript can keep you sane while you spread your content across platforms. What you'll learnWhy being visibly human (not polished or perfect) will outperform AI-generated content in 2026How social media is shifting from nurture + conversion to primarily visibility, and what to use insteadWhy long-form content and community are becoming the most stable, trust-building platformsHow algorithm “bubbles” are shrinking reach—and how niche pillars help you grow anywayWhy creators need multiple revenue streams to survive platform and AI shiftsHow to use AI and automation ethically and strategically to work faster without losing credibilityResources & Links:Follow Kara on Instagram or check out her websiteScalabilityOverflow MastermindKajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksIG University30 Days of Manychat Pro FREELearn how to run successful paid adsSome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you!Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanicholJoin my email listCheck out my websiteWatch this episode on YouTubeRead this episode in blog format hereMore about the Radical Disruption podcast:Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today’s episode, I’m breaking down the four different buyer types and why understanding them can completely change the way you sell. Most business owners naturally sell to the buyer type they are, which means they’re unintentionally leaving other potential buyers out of the conversation. This episode gives a clear, practical overview of each buyer type, what motivates them to purchase, and how you can start speaking to all four through your sales pages, Instagram stories, emails, and direct messages—without feeling pushy or salesy. What you'll learnWhy most business owners only sell to one or two buyer types without realizing itHow understanding buyer psychology reduces objections before they happenThe key motivations behind analytical, amiable, driver, and expressive buyersWhat each buyer type needs to see in order to feel confident purchasingHow to layer all four buyer types into your content without creating separate strategiesResources & Links:ScalabilityOverflow MastermindKajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksIG University30 Days of Manychat Pro FREELearn how to run successful paid adsSome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you!Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanicholJoin my email listCheck out my websiteWatch this episode on YouTubeRead this episode in blog format hereMore about the Radical Disruption podcast:Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today’s episode, I’m breaking down one of the most important (and most overlooked) questions in business: Does the way you’re making money actually support the life you want to live? This conversation was sparked by a DM exchange I had with a potential mastermind client who shared that she’d experienced $70k–$80k months—but at a cost she no longer wanted to pay. That moment stuck with me and opened up a bigger conversation around trade-offs, capacity, and building a business with your life in mind.I walk through the real costs behind different offer types—low-ticket memberships, courses, funnels, and high-ticket coaching—and explain why there is no single “right” way to scale. Every model works, but every model comes with trade-offs. The key is choosing the one that aligns with your current season, energy, and vision.I also share why I’m a big believer in an offer suite, how my own offers have evolved over time, and why letting go of successful offers can sometimes be the most aligned decision you make. What you'll learnWhy “all money isn’t made equal” when it comes to time, energy, and lifestyleThe real trade-offs of low-ticket memberships, courses, funnels, and high-ticket coachingHow volume, retention, marketing, and capacity show up differently depending on your offer typeWhy scaling looks different in different seasons of life and businessHow to decide which offers best support the life you actually wantWhy there’s no right or wrong way to scale—only what’s aligned for youThe importance of letting go of offers that no longer fit, even if they worked in the pastWhy I’m team offer suite and how I balance low-ticket and high-ticket offers in my own businessResources & Links:ScalabilityOverflow MastermindKajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksIG University30 Days of Manychat Pro FREELearn how to run successful paid adsSome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you!Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanicholJoin my email listCheck out my websiteWatch this episode on YouTubeRead this episode in blog format hereMore about the Radical Disruption podcast:Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In this episode, I walk through exactly how I’ve sold over 50 multiple five-figure coaching and high-ticket offers, including a $40,000 coaching package, without running sales calls. About half of those sales happened with little to no direct conversation before the purchase.I explain why I don’t personally use sales calls, even though they work, and how my background in network marketing, my role as a mom, and my desire for a spacious calendar shaped the way I built my business. This episode breaks down the systems, content strategy, and offer structure that allow high-ticket clients to confidently buy without pressure, urgency, or hopping on discovery calls. This is a behind-the-scenes look at how high-ticket sales can happen ethically, intentionally, and without putting families in financially stressful positions. What you'll learn• How I’ve sold high-ticket coaching and mastermind offers without sales calls• Why sales calls are not required to sell $10k–$40k offers• The two main reasons I intentionally removed sales calls from my business• How motherhood and time freedom influenced my business model• Why sales skills still matter, even without sales calls• How I protect potential clients from making unaligned financial decisions• The role applications play in replacing discovery calls• Why asking questions does not make someone less qualified• How buyer types influence the need for sales calls• Why some buyers will avoid offers that require a call• How content pre-qualifies high-ticket clients before they ever applyResources & Links:ScalabilityOverflow MastermindKajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksIG University30 Days of Manychat Pro FREELearn how to run successful paid adsSome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you!Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanicholJoin my email listCheck out my websiteWatch this episode on YouTubeRead this episode in blog format hereMore about the Radical Disruption podcast:Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today’s episode, I break down a simple business principle that most people immediately want to dismiss because it feels too simple: the 80/20 rule. If your brain is already telling you this can’t possibly work, that reaction is exactly why this episode matters. I walk through how applying this rule to your offers, marketing, and customers can completely change the way you approach your business—and help you scale faster in 2026.What you'll learnWhy our brains crave complexity and resist simple strategiesHow I realized that 80% of my revenue was coming from just 20% of my offersWhy marketing multiple offers at the same time is usually holding you backWhat I actually recommend focusing on in your stories, emails, funnels, and adsHow the 80/20 rule applies to your customer base, not just your offersWhy repetition is necessary for growth, not something to avoidHow simplifying your focus removes fluff and creates real momentumIf you’re juggling too many offers, feeling scattered in your marketing, or constantly convincing yourself you need to switch things up, this episode will help you simplify, refocus, and double down on what’s already working.Resources & Links:ScalabilityOverflow MastermindKajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksIG University30 Days of Manychat Pro FREELearn how to run successful paid adsSome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you!Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanicholJoin my email listCheck out my websiteWatch this episode on YouTubeRead this episode in blog format hereMore about the Radical Disruption podcast:Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today’s episode, I talk honestly about a season where life and business felt heavy at the same time—and how that tension sparked a major mindset shift. I share what it looks like to question your goals, your capacity, and your readiness for the next level when you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and wondering why things haven’t happened yet. This episode is a reminder that slow growth, hard lessons, and imperfect seasons are often exactly what prepare you for sustainable success. What you'll learnWhy feeling “behind” often means you’re not ready yetHow capacity, systems, and support affect sustainable growthThe danger of rushing success before you can hold itA reframe: making your current income level easier firstAsking “what am I meant to learn?” instead of “why me?”Resources & Links:ScalabilityOverflow MastermindKajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksIG University30 Days of Manychat Pro FREELearn how to run successful paid adsSome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you!Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanicholJoin my email listCheck out my websiteWatch this episode on YouTubeRead this episode in blog format hereMore about the Radical Disruption podcast:Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today's episode, I’m recapping my 2025 Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales and pulling back the curtain on what really happened. After three years of running highly successful six-figure Black Friday seasons, I decided to try a completely different approach this year. I walk through how I structured the sale, the numbers behind it, the disappointment I felt when results didn’t meet expectations, and the biggest lesson I’m carrying into 2026: simplicity wins. What You'll LearnHow I used to run Black Friday and Cyber Monday—and how 2025 was intentionally differentThe structure of my five-day deals, Cyber Monday pivot, and overall November strategyRevenue breakdowns, customer data, and why I don’t count contracted revenueThe emotional reality of missing a major sales goal after months of preparationWhat I learned about overcomplicating sales and why simple strategies scale betterHow this experience is shaping my Black Friday plans for 2026Resources & Links:Kajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksList Building 101ManychatIG UniversitySome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you.Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanicholJoin my email listCheck out my websiteNow on YouTubeRelated Episodes:Episode #: TitleEpisode #: TitleEpisode #: TitleMore about the Radical Disruption podcast:Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today’s episode, I’m breaking down how to make more money from brand partnerships without creating more content or taking on more work. If you’ve ever felt unsure about how to price brand deals, negotiate confidently, or maximize the opportunities already coming your way, this conversation is for you.I’m sharing the two strategies that have helped me make more money from brand partnerships than ever before — including how I structure tiered packages so brands naturally choose higher-paying options, and how I layer in affiliate commission to increase my income beyond a flat rate. I talk about why simply saying “yes” to what a brand asks for is leaving money on the table, and how to position your offers in a way that feels aligned, professional, and easy to say yes to.This episode also dives into how I communicate value to brands using real data, past performance, and audience trust — so I’m not just charging more, but justifying my rates with confidence. Whether you’re newer to brand deals or already landing partnerships consistently, these strategies will help you negotiate smarter and get paid what your content is actually worth. If you want to stop underpricing yourself, create win-win brand collaborations, and turn partnerships into a more sustainable revenue stream, this episode will give you a clear, actionable framework to start using right away. What you’ll learn:How I structure tiered brand partnership packagesWhy offering three pricing options increases your earning potentialWhat to include in base, mid-tier, and premium brand dealsHow to communicate value to brands (without overexplaining)Why brands naturally choose mid-tier offersHow to add affiliate commission to brand partnershipsWhen and how to negotiate affiliate links into dealsHow to use past performance and stats to justify higher ratesHow to stop leaving money on the table with brand dealsResources & Links:Kajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksList Building 101ManychatIG UniversityScalabilitySome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you! In today’s episode, I’m breaking down how I went from barely getting testimonials to receiving high-quality reviews every single week. For a full year, my program Plug And Get Paid was changing lives, yet I was only getting a handful of testimonials. After building a strategic framework for collecting reviews, I now receive written testimonials one to two times per week and, for the first time ever, video testimonials for my higher-ticket offer. You’ll learn the real difference between informal and formal testimonials, why both matter, and how small but intentional systems can skyrocket your social proof. I’m sharing the exact tool I use to gamify the testimonial process, how I time my requests to get better results, and the irresistible incentive that finally got people to submit video reviews. If you’ve struggled to gather testimonials or are tired of manually begging for feedback, this episode will help you automate the process and collect high-quality proof without chasing your customers. What You’ll LearnThe difference between informal and formal testimonialsWhy timing is the key to getting stronger resultsHow gamifying feedback increases submissionsWhich tool I use to automate testimonial collectionHow to strategically ask multiple times without being pushyThe incentive strategy that got me high-ticket video testimonialsHow to use testimonials to upgrade sales pages and marketingResources & Links:Kajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonusesTry Senja for just $1/month for 2 months150 Free HooksList Building 101ManychatIG UniversitySome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you.Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanichol Join my email listCheck out my websiteNow on YouTubeMore about the Radical Disruption podcast: Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today’s episode, I’m breaking down one of the most overlooked reasons business owners struggle to stay consistent online: the barrier to entry.I’m sharing what “barrier to entry” actually means, why your content feels heavier on some platforms than others, and how to dissolve the things that make showing up feel like a chore. From choosing platforms that feel natural, to repurposing your content across multiple channels, to identifying what specifically stops you from taking action — we’re walking through it all.I’m also pulling back the curtain on my own process: the perfectionism, the time commitment, and what I changed so podcasting finally feels doable again. If you’re tired of forcing yourself to post or “just get something up,” this episode will help you shift back into creating from a place of energy, clarity, and ease.Resources & Links:Kajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksList Building 101ManychatIG UniversitySome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you.Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanichol Join my email listCheck out my websiteNow on YouTubeRelated Episodes:Episode #: TitleEpisode #: TitleEpisode #: TitleMore about the Radical Disruption podcast: Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today’s episode, I’m sharing the real reason I decided to bring the podcast back — and honestly, it wasn’t part of the 2025 plan. Over the last two months, four different students across my mastermind and scalability programs mentioned that they’ve listened to every episode, missed the podcast, and wished it would return. These are my highest-level clients… and hearing that kind of feedback repeatedly made it impossible to ignore. So in this episode, I’m breaking down the signs that told me it was time to restart the show, why the podcast attracts my dreamiest clients more than any other platform, and how it aligns with the direction my business is moving in 2026 — specifically my word of the year: depth. You’ll also hear why I relaunched quietly without a big promo push (think: November + two babies + solo parenting + Black Friday chaos), and how short, 5–15 minute episodes are helping me become a stronger mentor by forcing me to cut the fluff and get straight to the point. Finally, I’m giving you one simple action step — one that might honestly shift the way you show up in your business moving into 2026.Resources & Links:Kajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksList Building 101ManychatIG UniversitySome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you.Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanichol Join my email listCheck out my websiteNow on YouTubeMore about the Radical Disruption podcast: Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today’s episode, I’m officially back on the mic and kicking things off with a raw, behind-the-scenes update. I’m sharing why I’m ditching polished intros, perfect editing, and long episodes in favor of a more real, voice-memo-style format that actually fits into the tiny pockets of life—for me and for you.I also give a life update after seven months away, including postpartum realities, becoming a mom of two, finally having a home office I love, being flown out by Kajabi (still surreal), and diving headfirst into Christmas mode way too early. Then I shift into a deeper conversation I’ve been having everywhere lately: what it truly looks like to balance motherhood, marriage, and running a thriving business—especially when you’re the primary income earner. I open up about navigating flipped household roles, my journey from wanting to be a stay-at-home mom to becoming the breadwinner, and how my husband and I are figuring out this season together.Resources & Links:Kajabi 30-day free trial + 2 bonuses150 Free HooksList Building 101ManychatIG UniversitySome of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you.Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanichol Join my email listCheck out my websiteNow on YouTubeMore about the Radical Disruption podcast: Are you wanting to make waves in your industry, push the envelope, and change the way things are done in a radical way? In today's episode, I'm sharing why I'm putting a pause on podcasting. My heart hasn't been in podcasting for a little while, but I've been fighting with the fact that I've needed a break. I had this arbitrary rule I put in place for myself that I couldn't take a break from the podcast. But this rule was made for no real reason, so now I need to trust myself that taking a step back is the right choice. I encourage you to throw out the rulebook that is keeping you from doing what you love. Make necessary changes, find what you love, and take the right path for you. I won't be gone forever, but for now, I'm sending you all the love!Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanicholJoin my email listCheck out my websiteNow on YouTubeMake sure to hit subscribe/follow so you never miss an episode! Some of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you.Find the complete show notes here: https://myanichol.com/2025/04/22/pause-on-podcasting/Resources & Links:Episode 108: $100 million dollar advice from Brendon Burchard150 Free HooksList Building 101ManychatIG UniversityKajabi 30-day free trial + 20 free story templates
In today's episode, I ask: Is relatable content holding you back from making sales? This could be through your content, your offers, your client conversations, or anything else. Where and what are you holding back from sharing because you're afraid it's not relatable? In my recent content journey, I've realized that I've been holding back parts of myself for fear that they're not relatable. But the truth is that I'm not here to be relatable. I'm here to be an innovator, a thought-provoker, someone who pushes other people to be their best selves, whatever that might look like. So, what are you holding back on sharing because you're afraid that it's not relatable? Share that today. In today’s episode, I cover:How different stories and backgrounds don't discredit successWhy unrelatable content can still be powerfulHow my goal as a content creator and as a business owner is just to be really good at being meWhy I want people to see that my dreams and my actions are impacting their destinyHow I'm not here to be relatable Connect with Mya:Follow on Instagram @myanicholJoin my email listCheck out my websiteNow on YouTube Make sure to hit subscribe/follow so you never miss an episode! Some of the links mentioned are affiliate links, which help to support this podcast at no additional cost to you.Find the complete show notes here: https://myanichol.com/2025/04/15/relatable-content/Resources & Links:150 Free HooksList Building 101ManychatIG UniversityKajabi 30-day free trial + 20 free story templatesMentioned in this episode:Join IG University!IGU
