This week I interviewed Angela Renzetti, L.Ac., EAMP, RH. Angela recently paid off her student loans! $75K in four years making between $30k and eventually $90k over the course of those four years (during the pandemic!). Student loan debt can feel daunting and the thought of paying them off seems like an impossible feat, but as long as you think of them this way then it will always be true for you. Many of you that I have talked to have told me that you avoid marketing your business on social media because you’re afraid that someone out there is going to criticize you. You hold yourself back because you don't want to expose yourself to any haters. We've got a hater right now. Listen to hear how I handle haters and how you can handle them too. Links mentioned in this episode: www.tcm-hub.com/harmonizeIf this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.

It’s easy to get caught up in wanting everything to be perfect or being overly cautious so as to not make the wrong move when it comes to business. Our businesses are how we earn our living and support ourselves and our families. And because of that we will have the thought “I can’t afford to make mistakes.” Or “I can’t afford to fail.”If you are looking to be inspired you need to be flexible. Inspiration and growth can never be forced. Great things that are meant for us can’t be revealed when our brains are gripped in panic or fear of failure. If the seriousness of being in business is weighing on you, have a listen to this episode. If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.

The brain really really hates incomplete pictures. It cannot tolerate gaps in a story or being left hanging. So, when you don’t have all the facts your brain just starts making shit up. And usually it fills in those gaps in the story with negative, worst-case scenario stuff. It starts filling the holes where the facts would be with very dramatic stories all in the attempt of self-preservation. The survival brain will always try to get you to turn around and run from the unknown. But what really happens is it creates a ton of unnecessary stress for you. If you want to save yourself from unnecessary stress, this episode is for you. Link to receive $100 off Student Loan Planner: https://www.studentloanplanner.com/affiliate-landing-page/?landing_page=tcm-hubIf this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.
EP50 Gratitude

EP50 Gratitude

2024-04-0214:32

It being the 50th episode I thought it would be appropriate to do an episode on the topic of gratitude. As humans we are not wired for gratitude. So since gratitude isn’t something that we’re wired for, that means that it needs to be practiced. It’s so easy to fall in to states of “everything sucks”, “nothing goes my way”, and “everyone’s doing better than me”. Listen to learn my favorite way to practice gratitude and appreciation. If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.
The road to success starts with planning. Most people understand the importance of financial planning and keeping a schedule to achieve their success goals. This episode talks about what I believe is the REAL key, the secret sauce, to achieving your dreams, and it has nothing to do with money or time management. If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.
Many of the people that I have coached will say that the reason they have a hard time making decisions, starting new things, or trying new things, or putting themselves out in to the world (aka Marketing) is because they are perfectionists. But what I have found is: what people are calling perfectionism is actually procrastination and avoidance. If you are a "perfectionist" who isn't seeing results in your business, then this episode is for you. If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.
As you grow and your business starts making more money, you have to grow along with it. We all have legal tips and tricks that we use to keep our tax liability low and and our expenses low, but at some point those actions and the mindset behind those actions can start hindering our growth mindset. And therefore hinder our business and personal growth. If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.
The sweetest part of entrepreneurship isn't what you think it is. Which may be why you may be struggling with the long-game of growing your business. If that's the case, this episode is for you. If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.
Knowing your compelling reason is especially important for entrepreneurs and people running their own businesses. There are so many moving pieces in play when you are building a business while also trying to earn a living that it’s easy to lose sight of why you got into practicing in the first place. Learn how "helping people" often ISN'T a compelling enough reason for many, including myself. If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.
General practitioners tend to have a difficult time targeting their messaging. And what I mean by messaging is the way they tell the world how they can help someone, why they are the exact right doctor for that someone, and why the patient should choose YOU over someone else.Just about every one of us is conditioned to think that what we provide to a patient is Acupuncture or Herbal Medicine. If every Chinese medicine doctor is out there providing the same things how can you possibly stand out in the eyes of the potential patient? Listen to the episode to hear more...If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.
Michael here this week. I love doing interviews with TCM docs. It's a great opportunity to keep my finger on the pulse (pun intended) of the profession and to provide an opportunity for listeners to feel a little more connected to their colleagues and a little less alone out there. This is an fun and lively interview with Chinese medicine physician Ashley Sidell who practices in Florida. Just 2.5 years into practice, Ashley hits on some of the key struggles around the practice of herbal medicine which is relevant for newer practitioners, seasoned practitioners and especially those who went through school during pandemic when in-person clinic wasn't really an option. Ashley was an attendee at Harmonize Austin last fall and her reflections on the training, what she gained and what she accomplished are inspiring!  Are you interested in attending Harmonize? You can apply HERE for the April 12-14, 2024 Charleston, SC training. There are only 2 seats left.  If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.

As we are packing up and getting ready to hold another Harmonize training this weekend we were reflecting on what our mission has become as opposed to where we started. We started as CEU provider that focused only on teaching Chinese Herbal medicine-focused curriculum (no acupuncture). We created Harmonize as a way to teach you how to practice herbs in a streamlined and profitable way. We're now seeing that Harmonize and TCM Hub's mission is so much more than that. We're not just teaching you something. We're trying to create an industry-wide belief shift. If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.
It being the beginning of a new year I thought I would record an episode about an exercise I just did for myself the other day. If you're feeling discouraged, unmotivated, uninspired, or lost this exercise can help pull you on track. Links mentioned: www.tcm-hub.com/harmonizeIf this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.
We did a lot last year. And you probably did too, but don't realize it. Michael and I talk about the large, difficult, and risky decisions we made last year in order to serve you all in the best way possible.Happy New Year to you all and we are excited to see what 2024 brings! If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.
Being a self-employed physician, trying to be both a doctor and an entrepreneur, requires us to dig deep. And dig to places of ourselves that we don’t even know are there. And this is where most people stop. Because it feels SO hard. You wonder how people do this? How do they manage a life, a family, a business all at the same time? How do people put themselves out there and risk humiliation or failure? In this episode I share where I look when I get to these places of feeling like I can’t. Feeling like I don’t have the capability or the strength. That the next step is just way too hard and I want to give up.Link mentioned: www.tcm-hub.com/harmonizeIf this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.
It’s the end of the year and around this time I like to reflect back to all that I have accomplished not only in the past year, but also the past several years and my whole Chinese medicine career. As part of that I look at some of the things that I have done and get curious about how some of those things could have been done differently. Whether they were successes or not, I like to take note of anything that could have been done better so I can use that information going forward with new goals and projects. Of course there are many things I can come up with and that exercise inspired this episode of the top five things I wish I did differently and the top five things I’m glad I did. So let’s go…If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.
