It's been a big day for Origin in particular with a surprising lineup for the Blues in Game 2. Tim & Josh have differing opinions on this one...Hynes is out, and is probably a prayer answered for all fantasy players as well all know he's about to be the most owned player once again. Mitch Moses is in - the man we thought would carry us through the Origin period has the call up. Plus the legend Lote Tuqiri joins us to unpack Brad Fittler's decision and what he thinks will happen next Wednesday, and what it's like being on the pitch for an Origin match (including missing a goal kick in an Origin game that would've won QLD the series). He also gives us his tips on who's been pretty consistent with fantasy points! And this round had a massive amount of points, both on the scoreboard and in the Fantasy bank! Our eyes were on the Titans trio of Campbell, Brimson and Boyd!Plus we also loved Reuben Garrick, Jahream Bula, Clint Gutherson - as well as your usuals. TIMECODES: 1.30 - Origin catchup  6.54 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 9.55 - Round 15 unpacked by match analysis 37.52 - Lote Tuqiri joins the pod. Plenty to get through this week.  The boys talk about the SuperCoach Semi finals and what do do with your Broncos players on bye this week. Is KP the best option for Captain this week?  And how good are the Matildas. We know it's a different sport but come on Tillies!!  TIMECODES: 5.41 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 8.50 - Round 24 unpacked by match analysis 38.28 - The SuperCoach Anthem!  LINKS Tim Moltzen @tim_moltzen Nova Podcasts Instagram @novapodcastsofficial CREDITSHosts: Josh Halling & Tim Moltzen Executive Producer / Editor: Rachael Hart Audio Producer: Adrian Walton Managing Producer: Ricardo Bardon Find more great podcasts like this at novapodcasts.com.au Nova Entertainment acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we recorded this podcast the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. The warriors are on track to finals and if Shaun Johnson isn't in your Fantasy team by now what the heck are you doing?!?!  Our advice is chuck in as many Wah's players as you can for the finals.  Plus we're in the middle of an argument about whether to drop Gutherson for Latrell Mitchell.. Josh reckon's Trell is about to fire, where Tim's not so sure.  All eyes should also be on Melbourne for this week at least - we all know how well they play coming off a loss... Plus at home and Cam Munster with some tricks up his sleeve will be a show.  Might not also be a bad idea to sneak in a couple of Roosters and Dogs players if you're looking for a cheaper option with a good run home draw.  Good luck if you're playing finals!  TIMECODES: 3.10 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 7.25 - Round 23 unpacked by match analysis LINKS Tim Moltzen @tim_moltzen Nova Podcasts Instagram @novapodcastsofficial CREDITSHosts: Josh Halling & Tim Moltzen Executive Producer / Editor: Rachael Hart Audio Producer: Adrian Walton Managing Producer: Ricardo Bardon Find more great podcasts like this at novapodcasts.com.au Nova Entertainment acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we recorded this podcast the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. It's SuperCoach finals week and if you need help on what trades to make you have come to the right place.  Tim and Josh agonise over the tough decisions you have to make and give you a few sneaky cheapies you can carry through your finals and the players you must drop. And of course we unpack round 22 and give huge props to Cam McInnes for his record breaking effort.  TIMECODES: 2.33 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 8.01 - Round 20 unpacked by match analysis 46.03 - Moltz picks the winners of the huge matchups this weekend LINKS Tim Moltzen @tim_moltzen Nova Podcasts Instagram @novapodcastsofficial CREDITSHosts: Josh Halling & Tim Moltzen Guest: The Rugby League Guru Executive Producer / Editor: Rachael Hart Audio Producer: Adrian Walton Managing Producer: Ricardo Bardon Find more great podcasts like this at novapodcasts.com.au Nova Entertainment acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we recorded this podcast the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. Getting to the business end of the competition, this is where every decision matters.  We will take you through some of the least owned players and  whether you should have them in your side, and this might sound crazy, but is it time to drop Nicho Hynes? And of course we unpack round 20 and discuss just how good this Warriors team is for the run home.  TIMECODES: 4.35 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 12.18 - Round 20 unpacked by match analysis 41.15 - Moltz picks some lesser owned players for the run home LINKS Tim Moltzen @tim_moltzen Nova Podcasts Instagram @novapodcastsofficial CREDITSHosts: Josh Halling & Tim Moltzen Guest: The Rugby League Guru Executive Producer / Editor: Rachael Hart Audio Producer: Adrian Walton Managing Producer: Ricardo Bardon Find more great podcasts like this at novapodcasts.com.au Nova Entertainment acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we recorded this podcast the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. Huge episode after the shortened round! Tim Moltzen gives us the must have players for the run home for season 2023, some of the picks are very surprising.  And of course we unpack round 19 and look at some of the lesser owned players that stood up during byepocalypse number 3 and get the boys score guesses for State of Origin 3.  TIMECODES: 3.29 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 5.12 - Round 19 unpacked by match analysis 36.19 - Moltz gives us the players we must have for the run home LINKS Tim Moltzen @tim_moltzen Nova Podcasts Instagram @novapodcastsofficial CREDITSHosts: Josh Halling & Tim Moltzen Executive Producer / Editor: Rachael Hart Managing Producer: Ricardo Bardon Find more great podcasts like this at novapodcasts.com.au Nova Entertainment acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we recorded this podcast the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. The Rugby League Guru stops by the show today to chat all things Origin and try to get inside the mind of Freddy's huge clean out for Game 3 by asking why choose Walker over Hynes? He also shares his solution to the problem we're all having filling the hooker position and that is; Harry Grant & Jacob Little. Plus he takes on Moltz in a typical Josh Halling quiz. And of course we unpack round 18 and ask who we should be looking to add to our teams for the run home. Particularly the fact that Adam Reynolds and Kalyn Ponga are both playing great footy right now and the Titans have one of the best draws for the rest of the season.  TIMECODES: 7.20 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 11.50 - Rugby League Guru joins the show 32.45 - Round 18 unpacked by match analysis LINKS Tim Moltzen @tim_moltzen Nova Podcasts Instagram @novapodcastsofficial The Rugby League Guru @rugbyleagueguru CREDITSHosts: Josh Halling & Tim Moltzen Guest: The Rugby League Guru Executive Producer / Editor: Rachael Hart Audio Producer: Adrian Walton Managing Producer: Ricardo Bardon Find more great podcasts like this at novapodcasts.com.au Nova Entertainment acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we recorded this podcast the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We're asking the hard hitting questions this week like; - Is Manly cooked? And how would you like your Sea Eagle cooked? - Is Cam Munster the best Rugby League player in the game right now. - How many times can Tim Moltzen reference the Tigers when we're not talking about the Tigers. - Which teams have no more byes this season: Sharks, Tigers & Gold Coast. Plus we're unpacking the round that was... Excluding a certain interstate game played that shall not be named. And some teams that are looking stronger towards the end of the season both fantasy wise and ladder wise are the Storm, Penrith, Warriors and the Eels. Always worth a look for players there.  TIMECODES: 3.36 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 7.15 - Round 17 unpacked by match analysis LINKS Tim Moltzen @tim_moltzen Nova Podcasts Instagram @novapodcastsofficial CREDITSHosts: Josh Halling & Tim Moltzen Guest: Denan Kemp  Executive Producer / Editor: Rachael Hart Audio Producer: Adrian Walton Managing Producer: Ricardo Bardon Find more great podcasts like this at novapodcasts.com.au Nova Entertainment acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we recorded this podcast the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. After the second Byepocalypse of the season Tim and Josh take you through the fallout of the short round 16 and pose the questions: Is it time to sell Josh Schuster? Is it time to buy Jason Taumalolo now he is back? And was the Cam McInnes monster performance a flash in the pan, or is it worth getting him long term?  PLUS!! Huuuuuge guest joins the show. Denan Kemp AKA 'Bloke In A Bar' jumps on to chat about his rise to fame post footy and give us his top 3 SuperCoach players.  All that and more!  TIMECODES: 5.06 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 6.56 - Round 16 unpacked by match analysis 28.03 - Denan Kemp joins the pod. Tim managed to pick Origin Game 1 score, but will he be right about who we think will be in for the Blues for Game 2. Big blow to most Supercoach/ Fantasy teams this week with Nathan Cleary out for minimum 6 weeks, Jahream Bula is coming through as a very good fantasy player (even with a loss this week) and it looks like Teddy got the chance to redeem himself this week! Plus, can anyone pick what the Cowboys will do next?? - Because we can't. Lastly Tim's old teammate John Skandalis joins the show and dishes some dirt, not only on Timmy - but also shares a great insight what it was like being coached by the legend Tommy Raudonikis. TIMECODES: 1.30 - Origin catchup  6.54 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 9.55 - Round 14 unpacked by match analysis 36.45 - John Skandalis joins the pod. Special guest Liam Knight joins the boys in studio this week to chat about his short lived Fantasy/ SuperCoach playing run. Plus off the back of Liam's incredibly vulnerable chat with Jake Duke on Fox about substance abuse, he and Tim unpack the culture surrounding alcohol in a team environment. And how as a young player coming through the ranks, having a beer with your teammates is the easiest way to bond. But don't worry, we also get him to dish some dirt on his Bunnies mates like who will score more tries this year; AJ, Latrell or Campbell Graham. How many more try assists Cody Walker will make and who's making more tackles out of Chee-Kam, Host or Knight. And in regular programming, we unpack the short round that was including your fantasy wins i;e Mitchell Moses, Greg Marzhew & Isaiah Tass. Which teams you should be looking at buying from to get through the next 4 or 5 rounds. Also whether Reece Walsh will survive the onslaught of Origin. TIMECODES: 5.10 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 7.10 - Round 13 unpacked by match analysis 33.35 - Liam Knight joins the pod. We're calling it, the Tiges are charging for the 2023 premiership! But in all seriousness, it might be worth getting some Tigers players into your team after that mammoth performance. Jahream Bula in particular - but also the centre/wing Junior Tupou and Starford To'a both scoring well this week. Plus the return of Tommy Turbo to full strength on the pitch, albeit only for 1 week before being picked up for Origin selection. Parramatta are also looking like a stronger side with Moses and Dylan Brown starting to get back to scoring ways. We also unpack Origin selections and which teams you should be looking to buy from to get you through the rough next few months. And also how your scoring will look across the Origin period! TIMECODES: 5.00 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 7.20 - Round 12 unpacked by match analysis 40.30 - Origin teams unpacked - who should you be looking to buy to get you through this period. Enter Scott Sorensen... Or should we call him Scott SCOREnsen, an absolute blinder fantasy-wise against a soft chooks side, definitely the stand out of the round. Souths are stamping their name firmly on the competition as well, with a pretty favourable draw upcoming - might be time to start looking at some of those non-Origin starters. Plus the Cowboys are the most unpredictable team this year. It's either rocks or diamonds and we're struggling to figure out if we should invest there at all. The Raiders are also looking great with their upcoming rolling draw, especially with stand outs Timoko + Horsburgh both possibly playing club footy through Origin. Lastly, we're still holding Hynes till the death and the jury is out on Tommy Turbo, we're genuinely stumped. TIMECODES: 3.50 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 5.20 - Round 11 unpacked by match analysis LINKS Tim Moltzen @tim_moltzen Nova Podcasts Instagram @novapodcastsofficial CREDITSHosts: Josh Halling & Tim Moltzen Executive Producer / Editor: Rachael Hart Audio Producer: Adrian Walton Managing Producer: Ricardo Bardon Find more great podcasts like this at novapodcasts.com.au Nova Entertainment acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we recorded this podcast the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. The Phins came in strong at Magic Round, but there's only one (very cheap but impactful) name on everyone's lips this round... Valynce Te Whare! At $200K he's worth the risk bringing into your side just for the fun of it! Plus The Tiges are on a roll, 2 in a row! And we've got one very happy Tigers fan in the studio, Moltz unpacks the game, including the stars *cough* Jahreme Bula *cough*And we tackle the question of who do we drop between Cleary and Hynes? Both probably up for Origin duty in a few weeks - how long do we hold on to them? Do you drop one and keep the other? Hynes is coming off the back of a loss too so there's probably going to be points there next week. Lastly, you're probably wanting to be looking at Warriors, Eels and Bunnies players to have in your team over the next few weeks. TIMECODES: 3.05 - The needle, the knife and the naughty corner 5.15 - Magic Round by match analysis 27.20 - Therapy time has been ditched - Up The Tiges! The GOAT, Jeremy Latimore, gives us a buzz to sledge Moltzen a bit from their playing days together. He also gives us some Dragons players to keep an eye on and what impact he's had on Nicho Hynes' development. Plus, if you're a Tigers fan then you're going to LOVE todays episode! The monkey is off the back and you're up and running for 2023... the tables have turned for therapy time this week! Are we thinking Premiership contention? We also chat the stand outs from round 9 who'll provide you some stability into the next 4 rounds. Names like Mitch Moses, Corey Horsborough, Campbell Graham* and Haumole Olakau'atu**Given they don't play Origin. TIMECODES: 3.30 - Injury + Judiciary 5.30 - Round 9 match by match analysis 19.30 - The best Therapy Time we've had so far.... It was a HUGE ANZAC round that felt like it went for 10 days, and we are not complaining about it at all! We're unpacking Round 8 for you from the huge hits, the injuries and also the standouts. Plus it's time to harshly consider the upcoming bye rounds and Origin and how that's going to affect your team. We've got your guide on what teams you should be looking to for some good fantasy players. Tim's got an eye on a Tigers young gun who's cheap and showing very good signs. And we chat through which players are now heavily owned that you can offload for some better options. Including a huge call from Josh on James Tedesco! TIMECODES: 3.30 - Injury + Judiciary 9.50 - Unpacking ANZAC Round 25.50 - Therapy Time  38.00 - Which players are we looking at buying vs selling LINKS Tim Moltzen @tim_moltzen Nova Podcasts Instagram @novapodcastsofficial CREDITSHosts: Josh Halling & Tim Moltzen Executive Producer / Editor: Rachael Hart Audio Producer: Adrian Walton Managing Producer: Ricardo Bardon Find more great podcasts like this at novapodcasts.com.au Nova Entertainment acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we recorded this podcast the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation.
