History is often dark and traumatic. World War 2 in particular was disastrous for several countries. When Japan and USA were at war, a city in Philippines was used as a strategic pawn. A secret underground tunnel system was created by the Japanese. The result was war and hundreds of dead Japanese soldiers whose souls were trapped in these tunnels forever. Narrow, dark and cold tunnels that now carry the weight of these souls.
In the 1900s Chinese immigrants were laid to rest in a cemetery in Bangkok. Decades of neglect caused the spirits to be angered and they wandered. Rumours spread and the city intervened in the 1990s.
