November is Men’s Mental Health awareness month.
This is a special episode, as we are going to do something different today.
With me are 3 lifelong friends, who have something very special, which is a safe space to talk about their feelings, without fear of judgement.
I want to celebrate 3 men, who talk openly about their mental health, and who I know the audience will relate to.
I hope someone comes away from today’s conversation, knowing it’s not a sign of weakness to talk about feelings, it’s a sign of strength and courage.
Key Takeaways for Men’s Mental Health are:
Bob – “You’re not alone, you may think you’re alone, but there is someone, or some people out there who are genuinely concerned about your mental health and how you are, you’ve just got to go out there and find them”
Roops – “Transfer your negative thoughts, into positive thoughts, it takes a bit of time, but if you can persevere, then over time you will reap the benefits and you will lead a more fuller and joyful life”
Sukh – “You can do the meditation, you can do the breathwork, but none of this will truly work until you have recognition and acceptance that you need to do something about it…you have to help yourself….never keep anything inside, let it out”
Resham – “People need people, so find your people, it might take time, but you will find your people”

An award-winning Forbes Featured Executive Coach and TEDx Speaker. Madeline has graced the stage to inspire the workforces of brands ranging from Saatchi & Saatchi and Ogilvy to Google, SKY, and Nike.
In a single year, Madeline experienced a miscarriage, her husband's business collapsed, and they had to sell their house to go into rented accommodation, this took Madeline on a self-development journey that now underpins her methodology and practice. She found that if she can sell the most Toshiba laptop’s in the UK, and close a £2m a year deal and run a multi-6-figure company, then she can do just about anything. She’s experienced the highs and lows of corporate life, working with start-ups, and running her own business.
Madeline believes that a confidence deficit is at the heart of much of the inertia and discontent, as research says that 35% of the workforce admit to it impacting their inability to ask for a pay rise, 32% hesitate to contribute their ideas and a further 52% struggle to speak in public. “I believe that everyone is born magnificent and with the help of greater clarity, confidence building, and empowerment each of us can experience a thriving life. It takes work and
practice but it’s certainly possible.”
